forget it, just abandon this one and find a better game. they do exist, that is where all the now inactives went after all.

I will not go without pointing to the fact that I did predict the demise of this FUBAR game months ago, even gave good and better suggestions to make changes to drastically improve. Promises made: tons, actions taken: none.

its just another core code revamp recycle maxed for cash extraction of the imbeciles that actually dish out cash… see some previous post of mine on the business model. Its basically FREEMIUM but with a heavy orientation towards people with less than half a brain AND a creditcard. (Case in Point: the umpteenth server started, so that the same idiots pay again for the same stuff…)

The game is pretty much dead on kongregate…

Less than 2k “game plays”/day across all servers on kong, and that is not corrected for the same people reloading several times…. so yeah.

I think it is ok. The game just stalls out, everyone involved enough to actually try gave great ideas to make the game get better.

We all know what was done in terms of improvement from LoA/sevenkan side.

But:
Instead of tweaking the amounts of resources needed to build troops, why not solve the root cause of this… SILLY ALMOST COMPLETELY FREE RESOURCES through inactives/quitters… (see long&old discussion, no action taken)

They are not bugs, most of the time it’s stuff you willingly changed.

And this game cannot be strategic by default, as long as there is no actual scarcity of resources.

Heya hebbrew017, you will be hard pressed to ever find me getting personal, if one discounts the growing disappointment and frustration towards seven"theanswermachinewith5phrases"kan…

It was always very clear, I even stressed it at all possible stages, that I am voicing my opinion, and mine alone. No need for “community support”. I am convinced the points (factual debate please) are strong enough by themselves, I vaguely recall you even agreeing with some of them at some point, might be wrong though.

So, not sure what you are trying to do here, except yet another personal attack…

Claim: The game would be better off with some sort of limitation on totally free resources.

Please feel free to add your opinion, cheers.

Been looking at the game plays KPI to somewhat track KONG activity of LoA…

Oct 05: 1,190k
Oct 16: 1,214k

thats a mere 24k impressions in 11 days….

factoring in multiple logins/gameplays by active users, number of servers (dilution of active player base, much?) and so on…

well, looks pretty dead to me. nuff said.

p.s. yes, i am aware of the fact that other players play through different access points, but you get my point, dont ya?

I understand how you might get that impression from just reading, correction: skimming, the endgame/terminal stages of an exchange that has been drawn out by the “loa representative” here, while (pro)active members of said community were trying their best to deliver meaningful and IMPROVING suggestions to the more than somewhat broken game…

I also observe you are somewhat getting personal, dare I say what else is new?

If you are interested in actually penetrating the discussion here, feel free to actually read up on it, but likely that is beyond your interest (i have no way of actually knowing this, it is just an assumption of mine.).

Feel free to actually prove me (and the many others) in here as wrong through factual additions to the discussion.

Good ideas, but I have a feeling they are just as unlikely to be implemented like the many good suggestions before (perhaps even a bit more unlikely, since its pretty advanced stuff…).

Appreciate your comments, thanks for that.

I have pretty much tried every angle (even a most simple one liner in pseudo code to fix the problem for good)…

One thing I am quite sure of though, is that they must observe how their active user base is shrinking (continuously), oh well. What gives. Real trouble is, cannot add much w/o repeating myself.

All of you must have understood by now that the people who are in charge of finding a good balance for this game (challenge level, reimbursement values, resource availability, pricing of real money items etc. etc.) have either NO interest or NO bloody clue on how to get this right. Ever.

Also you will all have appreciated instead of just working on a long list of community based (engaging / tying people in emotionally anyone?) suggestions and improvement, they make erratic (but hardly random changes) in vain attempts to increase real money revenue in a consistently shrinking active user base (larger = better for freemium business models…)

So, what I am trying to say: The increase in wild difficulty is not really a overpowering issue, since it seems to affect servers uniformly (proportionate). Yet I see how it is annoying to get these factors tweaked with (NO CHANGELOG or mention of this, right?)…

People are quitting not just because of changes, but because of CHANGES FOR THE WORSE. Feel free to check their track record of changes made (smart allocation of resources anyone?)…

In terms of challenge, the wilds are also a bit of a nonissue, as long as you still have an unlimited supply of resources, you can get coins from cheapdumping them in market and the remains for non stop troop inflation…. so yeah. You know the root cause…

Sevenkan = no actual meaningful command of the english language. And yes, I am also not a native English speaker, hence I have offered many times to perhaps switch to a language sevenkan can actually speak… (of course no real answer / refusal to be helped)
