I have a couple of minor suggestions for you to improve things.
I’ve noticed that many people don’t figure out that there’s wind in the game until they’ve played for a while, perhaps the wind bar could be changed to improve this? I was thinking that you could change it slightly, have multi directional wind (any direction) and a simple dial that rotates to point which direction the wind is going with a number to show how strong it is (1-10)
Some features to show what angle and power our last shot was would be nice, like a small HUD showing the numbers at the bottom perhaps.
It would be nice if we could move and shoot in the same turn, this would add an extra dimension tactically because we could mess with other people’s pre-determined angles that they’re working out.
I’d like to see the ability to scroll the screen upwards too. People on high ground can’t add much power vertically to their shots because the mouse cursor won’t go very high. This could be changed by adding a feature to set power manually too though.
Negative XP for self harming and suicides would be nice. XP numbers earned should flash up above a player’s head with each successful (or unsuccessful) shot too. Adds in a clear ability to see a players success.
Some premade maps (they’re random now I think?) with various features and designs to make the whole luck of the draw when it comes to placement a bit less prominent.
A feature for team OR single play to eliminate the gay setting up of a team mid game.
That’s just a few thoughts I’ve had lately for you to mull over : )
