@pennyyy: What cuspcham said. Your gain in the different currencies (money, green money, pixels, experience) is going to depend on your kill rate, your bonuses, and your beastiary level. So, I agree that trying the two modes for an hour each is the best way to compare.

I’m still trying to figure this out myself, so if anyone has done some tests, please post them. I think that in general it’s still true that even a small percentage of long battles will drag down your average kill and reward rate.

I recently got to the halfway point of the game, as measured by levels, and I wanted to say: this is a long game.

Sometimes it’s fun and sometimes I feel like I’m climbing up a mountain that is getting steeper the longer I climb. But I can’t stop!

Thanks to Tukkun and folks who have improved the game.

Thanks for all the information on pirate ship vs dragon cave, everyone.

I’ve been enjoying the card game, thanks Tukkun.

I’m not sure if anyone pointed this out before or not, but I noticed something while playing the card game. Even if you have a low number of a particular card in your deck, you can have more instances of that card in your hand. See image below. It’s not a huge issue, but it does violate the “card” metaphor a bit.

@Darkruler2005:

I’m hoping that you are wrong about the best place in the Battle Arena to idle. I’ve been working raising my bestiary level in the Pirate Ship, my theory is that when all monsters are bestiary level 5, and the buff bonuses get better, it will pay off. Two things to consider: the experience payoff for killing Pirate Ship monsters seems like it is about 3x the Dragon Cave ones. And, although there is a cap to our base attack number, the multiplier keeps going up with player level (I’m at 3372, btw). So at some point it should pay to be on the Pirate Ship.

Does anyone know the formula for attack power?

For me, I’d rather get more Pirate Ship missions, that’s where like to idle for maximum xp and coins. Just sayin…
