Topic: Kongai / Kongai abandoned by Kongregate?

Well, while comparing Kongai to Elements remember that all of the tournaments/events/leagues in elements are run by the community.

Kongai just needs a bigger fanbase. How can it do this? I have no clue. It isn’t a popular genere for flash games. Advertisements will eat up money, especially if the game doesn’t take off.

I play Rs and haven’t tried WoW. Really on the Rs forums, there isn’t a rivalry besides the die-hards. Tons of players just accuse all of the new updates of ripping off Wow.

I am surprised that people haven’t brought up how bad the rs community can be. Comon’ now, Rs invented the wannabemod!

Hey, can anybody tell me how obelisk’s pyro shell/aero shell works?

“Pyro Shell –
Gives the target the Pyro Shell status, which nullifies FIRE damage, and damages attackers.”

I tried using pyro shell against karnos thinking that it would nullify fire damage from raging inferno, but that didn’t work. Is it just physical fire damage and not magic?

I personally think that there need to be better combos between elements.

For instance, Trident is a water card, but it works with earth quanta. So if you wanted to have a water/earth deck, the only real combo that you could get would be trident. Sure, you could have water and earth creatures, but nothing that ties them together. I want MUDMEN. (random example o_0)

Also, I cannot believe that there is no death/time combo. Maybe it is just me, but I think of those as going hand-in-hand.

Not only Sound falls under Air while Metal and Gems fall under Earth, and Space falls under Aether… why make more elements? The current amount like covers everything needed.

Gems and metal were pretty generic examples, but I don’t really see a connection between sound and air other then the fact that sound travels through air.

But fine, alright, destroy my idea. I only spent hours coming up with it XD

When it is said like this, People get a mental image. Maybe something like Call of Duty 4. If I say something vague like soldiers, well, there were ancient Greek soldiers, civil war soldiers, ancient chinese soldiers, et cetera. Then the Idea is lost in translation. If I say Modern warrior, It still leaves the idea open for discussion, but lets people get the general idea of it. Same thing goes with beastmen. Unless anybody else comes up with a better word for this, I am gonna stick with this name.

Well, most of the characters from kongai are people, but there is still a robot set coming out. A plant man was just the first example off of the top of my head.

Also, its kind of strange for you to consider a knight a modern warrior. Modern means present time…

I think beastmen is a great one. It would really fit in with Kongai. Werewolf, Merman, Centaur, Minotaur,and maybe a plant man or something would be cool.

I don’t really know about priests though. I mean it would be a great way to introduce more light attacks, and they could be the anti vampire thing, but unless they are of obscure or made up religions, it might be a little too controversial.

also, the african child soldier might be a little dark for kongai.
