Triva >> Alma mater would be better as nourishing mother, because alma meaning is more near to nourishing than to bountiful. Alma meanings could be nourishing, vital, which gives and maintains life, benign, beneficial. The word was mostly used as an epithet of the gods.

1. the Italian terms for “Munich” are “Monaco di Baviera”, non “Monaco of Bavaria” http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monaco_Di_Baviera
2. Let My Love Open the Door was sang in 1980 by “Peter Townshend”, non by “Peter Townsend” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pete_Townshend
