It’s not- just the fact that rifle values are generated randomly. Sometimes you get a supersoldier. Sometimes you get a weakling, but with all the rifle/morale medals, that doesn’t happen.

Bunker-trench and double-click bugs can both usually be fixed by not playing MnB2 in Internet Explorer.
The stats screen shows your logical wave count, which differs from the visible wavecount and is affected by Detailed Order crates, which reduce the logical wavecount by 15, but leave the visible wavecount unaffected. Which is precisely what’s happened here.

I’ve never had that happen to me… does this happen every time you use it on a sniper?

No. Most blitzes occur post-wave 50. But they do fairly regularly occur at wave 40+, and can occur at wave 30+. The earliest blitz I’ve ever had is a Volk blitz at wave 20.

We think blitzes are selected randomly, so the fact that you got a Wespe blitz is entirely due to chance.

Mm, mm, mm. Known bug. Teleporting structures.

There isn’t a fix for it yet. You can try, when one structure is blown up, clearing the ground by placing a trench where it was before putting up the bunker again. This is supposed to reduce the incidence, but such things are very hard to test, since this bug appears to happen almost at random.

Well, he could have linked the xp directly to the score, with slightly different weightings for it. I assume that he did that at first, but then, either if players were ranked up too quickly or as the game got easier, he modified it. So it’s just something that came with the evolution of the game.

Move all of your men to the top of the screen. You will then advance a screen and gain some ground, as well as a change in terrain. However, if you leave any Germans behind your lines (including infiltrators), they will count as flankers

A variety of ways. They still seem to be friendly firing, despite urb’s best efforts, so run a man or two up to right in front of it and watch it blow up. Otherwise, a bazooka might possibly work. Or you could just shoot it out.

Good question. I’m not sure where it saves your progress for the d/l version. Since you seem to be familiar with mudandblood.net, navigate onto the Forums, to ‘Technical Discussion’ and find the stickied thread ‘How to Back Up your save file’ (by Valthero), and see if you have anything where it says you should. If not, I don’t know whether you can, otherwise, make a backup of the .sol and just download and run the new version

(Most of that post will make more sense once you’ve read the backup thread).

The download is only for that version of MnB2. There is no auto-update feature, and typically if you wish to play the most modern version, you must use the versions which download from the internet (although you can install an own-window version of MnB2). However, the download on the website is 2.2.7, which has halftracks. Please note, however, that if it’s 2.2.7a, AT guns will be unusable.

The Recon Vehicle can kill people in pillboxes, which is annoying. Hopefully it’ll be fixed at some point.

The first two bugs are weird and there doesn’t seem to be any cause for them. The third is the well known ‘bunker warp’ bug, which Hitler bribed urb not to fix. In other words, that’s a big bug, but no fix yet.

We’re not sure about the exact mechanism, but Santa appearing is random. Also, I think that we’ve still got another few days left.

Some people say that he generally appears in early waves, if it helps.
