Topic: Tyrant / Tyrant Errors

Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of the “Application Error – Malformed Response” messages while doing the new Missions. It causes the game to quit and reload.

The last time that I saw these errors was in November 2012. Seems like whatever caused them back then has been reintroduced with the latest update.

Agreed. I’m looking forward to new Missions/Side Missions that advance the story.

But, if we get another Event, then I’m going to take a break (and maybe not come back). Boring grindfests just suck the fun right out of this game.

We’re constantly clearing out the dead wood, so we always have ~180 active players. Also, as mentioned before, raid turnover is high and our Officers are constantly summoning. All Alliance and general raids available.

New players and old veterans welcome!

Officers in my Alliance have noticed that the "Locate "button for Gedrocht raids remains lit (green) even after Gedrocht has been summoned. Clicking it again brings up the “Error creating raid” dialogue.

Is this happening for anybody else?

Well, I’m glad that he finally managed to shake himself free of Tyrant. As I said, he’s the smart one. In my case, I’ll hang around ‘til I hit level 200, then I’m quitting. ( <— Famous last words)

Why is it that the decent, upstanding guys like rohlfo are always leaving, but the dumb-as-shit trolls keep hanging around? This game just infuriates me sometimes. But, I guess that means rohlfo is the smart one. He’s getting out while he can.

So, good luck in real life. I’m really going to miss our chats and general grousing sessions, but it’s time better spent filling those students’ heads with useful information than wasting it on this game.

I started out as a Collectionist, but Leonidas screwed that up. Now, I just log in to dump energy, farm XP/gold, and occasionally post in the forum.

What category does that fit in?

I’ve been playing since April 2011 and hit level 188 yesterday. Never thought I’d get to this level when I first started because I used to travel a lot for work.

However, for the past 15 months or so, I’ve been working from home three days per week. Makes it very easy to maximize my energy and crank out the levels (and farm for gold). :-D

An “auto-summon” option for Small (10-person) Alliance raids would be handy.

For example, in my Alliance, the Small (10-person, low HP) raids die almost as soon as they are summoned. Then, you get members complaining if Officers aren’t constantly checking the War Room. An option to automatically summon a new Small raid immediately after the previous one has been killed would solve that.

I don’t think that this option would be necessary for the larger raids (e.g. 50-person or higher), though.



p.s. The new loot screen still makes my eyes hurt.

The background for the new loot screen seems a bit busy. It might just be me, but it kind of bothers my eyes. Meanwhile, the old version was very clean and uncluttered. Example (old on left, new on right):

So, could we make the grid in the background less obvious, or maybe make the loot tiles more opaque? Either one should cure the problem.

The new high level reward cards must have some sort of impact on the current meta, or else we’ll just end up with another Solar Powerhouse situation (i.e. useless card/buff that nobody wants to buy).
