Help Improve AdCap
Hola, bonjour, and guten tag
So I’m a fairly new Capitalist (as in, I started maybe one or two days before the crash. Talk about poor timing). Anyway, I’m not sure how useful my opinion will be, but I feel compelled to give it anyway. Some things I’ve noticed about the game so far:
1. When opting to buy 10x or 100x it was confusing at first that they would light up but then I’d only buy 3? What? Took me a hot minute to figure that out. Not really a big deal, but it’s very counter-intuitive for a new player.
2. I hoarded angels for a looooong time because I wasn’t entirely certain what to do with them. I still don’t fully understand them. I’ve read that they increase profits but I’ve also read that they just give you more starting cash when you reset. 2% bonus to what, damn you?! (should also note that I’m really, really, really bad with numbers, so this could just be me)
3. The screen pop-ups (achievements, upgrades, etc) are really clunky and not friendly at all. In fact, they’re kind of jerks. They don’t stay put when you start using them, there’s no scroll bar, and god forbid you scroll down to the bottom of the page and want to get back to the top before the day’s over.
That being said, I started a couple days before the crash. I’m all for pointing out areas that could use some improvement, but I also think that HH recently had a huge success with their Capitalists. Normally I would have refreshed a few times and lost interest after the game crashed. The quick response from the devs though, the surge, the badge, the updates on progress… They kept me around. I have to say, in all my time on Kong I’ve yet to see a developer that’s been so involved with the community (not to say they aren’t out there). Kong gave me some Kreds in Feb 2013 and I’ve been hoarding them ever since, because I’m a hoarder. Figured when I found a game worth spending my precious free Kreds on then I’d do it. Congrats HH, you got all 60 and will probably get more. Keep up the hard work.
