it weighs 1kg, or approximately 2.2lbs. youre gonna need something harder if you want intelligent members

Actually, it would weigh 10 Newtons. Kilograms and pounds are units of mass, not units of weight.

(Nitpicky Mode ON, xD)

9.8 Newtons. And kilograms are the metric unit of mass, sure, but pounds are the imperial unit of weight. If you’re trying to measure mass in the imperial system, the unit is the slug. Under standard Earth gravity, one slug of material weighs about thirty-two pounds.

This is yet another stupid riddle from Nominis Latini. One kg of feathers masses one kg, and weighs 9.8 N, or approximately 2.2 pounds, under standard Earth gravity. If you’re measuring on Jupiter, it weighs 24.8 N, or approximately 5.6 pounds. If you’re being a smartass, then a kilogram of feathers weighed on Earth is going to “weigh” slightly more than one kilogram, due to the weight of the atmosphere on all that surface area. It’s a question with no correct answer—or rather, it’s a question with entirely too many correct answers, but the asker has already decided which one is really the right answer.

Not at all. Although slug is indeed an unit of mass, so is a pound, in the same way that both grams and kilograms are units of mass in the metric system, being the standard one the kilogram.

Source

This is why there’s direct correlation between pounds and kilograms without having to put a constant attached to a new unit. Note that a pound is equivalent to a kilogram * 2.2 [ADIMENSIONAL], not equivalent to a kilogram * 2.2m/s² [which would be the necessary metric conversion in order to convert mass to weight, seeing how Weight = Mass * Gravity (a form of acceleration). Therefore, in order to convert from mass to weight, you NEED to input an acceleration, which is never the case.

Adding up, correcting my approximation was not necessary by any means. If necesary, I would be able to correct your approximation to 9.82 Newtons, but that would still be incorrect due to the variance in the Earth’s gravity according to the latitude you are one. Therefore, your so-called “correction” is also an imprecision. You, sir, have avoided a situation on which it would be better if you didn’t say a word.

I have to agree, however, that there are many correct answers. Still, we derive the factors in order to try to find an explanation. In the same way that a debate or an essay has no correct answer but still can be valued by their production, I do believe this was their intention upon asking the question.

The Gambler:

“Hey, what are you doing.”

You are first to hit.

- You hit Gambler for 790 damage.
- Gambler hits you with “I’m feeling lucky”. Now go to Google and make a search. If it is porn, you lose.
- You found porn. Gambler laughs at you and take 51483920 coins and your sister.

PS: Another one I just thought of:

There are mushrooms on the path? Do you want to eat them?
taste
The mushroom tasted like Shimeji. You now realize you are on Japan. Game graphics will change to Japanese style. Domo arigato!

Maybe try SINGLE quoting aswell, it’s much more prefered.

About the single iquoting, my mouse was a bit damaged, and it double-clicked on accident, and I didn’t notice it until posted, so, sorry.
About TinyPic, these were the uploading results:

Hope it works. =D

I did that, but it didn’t work. =/
And ImageShack can’t load my images, because of some weirdo glitch in my computer.
So, I’d ask the managers of this event to check the links I gave, if possible.

Really grea design… but I think that Kongregate could improve in more important things, like in adding badges every 2 or 3 days. That is Kongregate’s great difference. And that must be improved.
