Real Nice Riddles
I consider cars and planes to be made of metal, which can’t exactly be dead, while my impression of ships/boats leans more towards wood than other forms of transportation. I can even give the full reasoning behind how I arrived at the answer, if you want it.
Also, I’ve never seen that website in my entire life.

Real Nice Riddles
I’m sorry for cluttering up the thread, spissilly, this will be the last unrelated post.
You know, Zzzip, the fun of a riddle is in figuring out the answer. I would appreciate it if you didn’t mock the work I put in into figuring it out just because you yourself are unable to do so.

Real Nice Riddles
I wouldn’t have known the first one, but pretty sure I saw it recently due to FGF.
I think the dead and the living thing(s) are different. Is it a ship? or a coffin, but that doesn’t work out so nicely

I didn’t know books were furniture. By the way, you are only allowed to have one guess.

You could just as easily have been a rogue. Why the change of mind?

@Snine: You were one of the first people I recognised when I started lurking around the Kong forums. To me, you were enthusiastic, funny and helpful and I will miss not seeing you around.

Fluctuating Equality[Round 1]

I think one of the ones I pointed immediate suspicion of being rogue is a rogue, because they were the immediate ones to point out that they were TM, before anyone else so they wouldn’t even get any suspicion on themselves. After that, they would act normally, and since their goal is to act like a TM, yeah.
If I was rogue(or scum if chat mafia), I would be the first myself to declare myself a townie(or share my false results if dethy) so that I wouldn’t be able to get any suspicion on myself. Most people would look at the evidence, then disregard me as a bit less suspicious than the other. So, I strongly believe one of Dragon or Racefan to be the rogue.
I see. But I think that you would have to take into account individual playing styles and timezones. What if, due to the timezone, they just happened to claim being a TM before others? Also, I would like to point out that this is not a mafia.
I advise TLs to share any information that they have. Once we all have both TLs’ information, give it a few days of careful guessing, and the rogue will be obvious. TMs will not claim to be a TL. This not only hurts their chances of winning this game, but they will be quickly outed as what they give will clash with other information, given as we are, like devourer says, clueless.
The rogue will not claim to be a TL. If he is believed to be a TL, he will not be put on actual TLs’ lists (since TLs don’t switch sides) and he won’t be able to win anyway. If there are still 3 TL claims, actual TLs can put the other claimants’ names when submitting their list and if it turns up as correct, that person is the rogue.
After outing the rogue, TLs can just put all 8 TM names on their list on a round (a possible guess due to fluctuation) to find out who was on their team then, and guess the next round based on that. Repeat until you are lucky enough to win.
But since helltank has planned something, it is unlikely that we can use this without at least a few tweaks.

[Story] Fields of Honor
Thanks. I agree with you as I also don’t think that it’s possible to transfer a whole thread to The Arts. However, in my opinion, the fact that it is currently here should not discount it from the possibility of being moved if it is in the wrong place, especially now when the thread is not very long yet. Additionally, except for Firespread’s Mosyle and your Drakan, most of the other posts are just talking about where this thread should be placed, so I do not think that it would be much of a loss to lock this and move on, re-pasting the parts of the story that are here on a new thread. Being interested enough to create a character, I think you and Firespread wouldn’t mind copying and pasting it in a post on the new thread, or DaHumanitarian could also do it himself and add a small note acknowledging that you two created them.

I think the team leaders should claim and also give out the role lists they submitted, noting who is on their team and who is not. The rogue already knows and it doesn’t help him win as long as his name is not put down 3 times in a row. The team members can help the leaders to think of the possibilities.
(Just in case, don’t screenshot anything.)

[Story] Fields of Honor
Even though qazzaq might be a moderator, I think the fact that helltank and Jaskaran are Forum Games Forum regulars makes their opinion carry more weight than qazzaq’s on the topic of where exactly this thread should be placed (although Jask can be quite rude while voicing his opinion), especially as I haven’t seen qazzaq around here.
A factor that could have influenced his recommendation is how, when you ask for opinions on what to do next, the possible choices are presented like in a manner reminiscent of those CYOP books. However, as stated in the title of the thread, this is a story. And like helltank said, this is more story than CYOP (or CYOA, which this leans a more to). I agree with him that this should be placed in The Arts forums for the following (extremely long-winded) reason:
As far as I know, in a normal CYOP, the game host usually just describes and lets the players decide how the story proceeds. However, for this, most of the story is written by you. Also, you let people suggest characters with a character sheet similar to that of some RPs. I’m sorry if this sounds rude, but I feel that you are a somewhat lazy author who saw a game, thought the concept was very interesting, and wanted strongly to make a story based on that game world. Instead of properly planning out a story, you just went with the flow and started writing. When you can’t decide what to do from a few possible paths that you could pursue, you ask for opinions. Having not properly planned this out and not knowing what you want your characters to go through, you ask for character suggestions that could give you ideas and which you could add on to keep the story moving. Which is why I think that this is, in essence, not a game, so it does not belong here. The Arts forums has writers which you could ask for opinions from.
tl;dr, I think this belongs on Fanfiction.Net .
