Wow , OK where do I start here?
First, I dont facebook. In my profession they farm and file your online shared activity. No thanks. So I only play the Kongregate version. Second , your facebook version actually has MORE bugs according to a few people Ive talked to now. Third , others here will be cut out as they either refuse to play the facebook version (as mentioned by some above too) that you could have playing your game.
Fourth , revenue stream and programming effort aside , having your game displayed to reach the widest audience should be a priority for you.
Instead of making a blanket decision like this , how about instead concentrating on debugging your facebook version for now , and ONCE you get that sorted , go ahead and update your kongregate version using the same template. The solutions you come to with the facebook version should at least give you ideas on how to solve the issues your having with putting it in the kongregate format.
Anyhow , you have a product here thats fun in its own way , and has a core following in this venue. Its suggestible that many of the players here will not transition to FB and it represents a potential loss of your customer base and player following to proceed thus. IMO you should reconsider at least leaving Kong static for now.
All that said , despite the bugs and frustrations , thanks for the game – it was fun , a novel idea , and though it had elements of the ‘MMO common stencil’ for scavenger hunt type games, I found it worth playing. Good job.
