Dragon Nest was pretty fun while I played it. Probably more fun if you play with friends or a group.

Topic: General Gaming / any good clan players???

If you want players for your clan you should probably actually give people details. Like what game you’re playing, what platform, an actual clan name. Along with other things. Should check out the MLG forum for free agents.

Edited the quoted area along with a few other things you mentioned. Tried to space out some of the paragraphs. From your criticism and suggestions, I definitely found it useful. Thanks for the heads up, everything helps!

Just reviewed the Badge of The Day game, Into Space! I’ve only reviewed a few flash games and was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the review. Whether you like it, dislike it, have any criticism, etc. Thanks! http://snakesterzone.blogspot.com/2011/12/into-space-flash-review.html

Topic: General Gaming / lab of the dead ending

Yeah the game definitely was a load of grinding. I’d definitely agree that the last cut scene was probably the ending, although it would of been interesting if there were a few different ways it could of ended. Maybe giving you reason to play it different ways. Or if when you got 100% research some big ending about controlling the zombies. Whether it be creating a cure, controlling an army of them, spending the rest of existence playing cards with them. Would be cool to have a quick cut scene. Considering how much grinding the game has, I’d probably never play long enough to reach it though =P And jstev58, it’d be a hell of an endurance ending to get 100%, could be nice though.

Topic: General Gaming / Skyrim... Whats your level?

Level 15 Wood Elf, only like 8 hours in though. Nothing compared to the time I used to get into Oblivion. Pretty sure the level cap for Skyrim is 50.

Yeah you start from the beginning at level 1. Although you can store equipment at the beginning.

There’s going to be differences, but I mean it’s not like they’re going to change you shooting another player. Now you get to hug them!

Topic: Call of Gods / [Bug] Need help? Find a bug? This is the place.

I’m a human on Server 4 and did the first fighting quest. Then the second came around to fight the tougher archer where you would lose. Then I equipped the weapon and instead of following the tutorial as I should of, I fought the cavalry instead. Then after fighting them, the tutorial acted as if I killed the archers and then gave me all the directions to go to certain places canceling out anything else I’d want to do. But I couldn’t complete the quest because I didn’t fight the archers. But couldn’t close the window as that button wouldn’t work, couldn’t press the X to exit out of the window, or go to any other buildings in the town after restarting my browser session. Therefore, I’m trapped.

Topic: General Gaming / Team snipers

Both games have their cheap bunch of weapons. For example a grenade launcher or the sniper as everyone is saying. And when it comes to the whole realistic part, agreed with what Piple said. Also, you have armor in Halo, it can probably sustain more damage. Agreed with IRepToast.

When I first saw Dead Island gameplay, it looked a little iffy to me, but I’ve gotten a bit more interested since then. Just curious how it’ll do when it comes out.

Topic: General Gaming / A Good MMO

I’m surprised nobody brought up the enormous list at http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm There are tons of different types of MMO’s so like various other posts have said, it’d probably help if you gave us an idea.

- Everyone hating on Runescape, it just has a bad reputation around the internet but isn’t too bad of a game. I’d probably say it is a grind, but you can enjoy playing it with friends and like myself being a skiller whenever I used to play, get around to everything. Having to be a member is a bit of a let down for half the content, but you also get to experience a lot without it. Definitely best played with friends. I played it on and off myself and never really made it past level 50 due to boredom.
- Definitely looking forward to Guild Wars 2 when that comes out, I know that’s one of the most looked forward to MMO’s at the moment that are in development. Considering it’s not a P2P and you just have to buy it once, that’s great alone. It’s also a very fun game. I played the first a lot personally alone and a little with a guild. The first was always fun with a guild because you had a group of people to talk to, get help from, or do PvP with. The Guild Hall’s were always really interesting, especially if you were in a nice guild that had their’s fully upgraded with the npcs and such. Plus you get a fancy cape. I’d definitely recommend Guild Wars or waiting for Guild Wars 2. Guild Wars can entertain you with PvP or PvE definitely. I played most of it alone as you can play with henchmen(AI) in the instanced world, but if you play with friends or your guild, you’ll probably enjoy it more as you have people to talk to and keep things interesting.
- Someone mentioned Endless Online, I know it has a decent community, but when I played it like a year or two ago, the servers were like impossible to connect into. Endless Online is very big on just socializing as well. I’ve heard it’s been taken over by hackers, but I haven’t played recently. I wouldn’t recommend it, but you could look if you really want.
- MapleStory has a huge community of gamers and tons of people enjoy it, if you’re not huge on grinding, MapleStory may not be the game for you. It’s very well known for quests like kill 10 slimes, here’s some experience. Now kill 100 more. It’s a fun game, but I never really got grabbed into it myself. A friend of mine said that Big Bang expansion pack made leveling a lot easier. I played a little shortly after it came out, but still didn’t get grabbed. It’s worth a shot looking into though. Might have fun with it.
- I saw DF and DFO being said. DF is probably Dead Frontier I assume. DFO can be Dead Frontier Online or Dungeon Fighter Online. Dungeon Fighter Online is a relatively fun platformer, makes me think of playing Streets of Rage. A friend of mine likes the game a lot and not too long ago they came out with the Thief class, so might be fun to play with. It’s all about instances any time you leave the town, so it doesn’t necessarily force you to play with other people, but it’s kind of leaning in that direction. You can play at your own difficulty for each instance which is nice. Now onto Dead Frontier Online. I actually came back to playing this recently. Dead Frontier is a 3D zombie apocalypse game. It’s been around a few years, but only this year shifted to 3D. It’s very fun, the grinding isn’t too bad if you participate in daily Outpost Attacks you’ll get tons of experience. Missions were only just recently added back into the game, so while there’s only one daily, it’s not incredible. But they’re always another great source of experience. They have different zones for how tough enemies are, so it’s definitely player friendly. There’s a chat outside of the game for it where people can be helpful while annoying as well. You can definitely enjoy the game alone or with friends. It’s not too tough of a grind if you play right. But it is a zombie killing game as well, so whatcha expect. Loads of different types of zombies though I suppose. For a browser game, it’s definitely worth taking a look at. Nothing to lose. Even better, I don’t have a referral link, I think it has them anyway =P
- A few posts up someone mentioned APB: Reloaded. Also known as All Points Bulletin: Reloaded. When it first came out the original company went bankrupt I believe and got rid of APB with only like a few weeks of it being out. Then Gamers First picked up the game and fixed it up for playing again. Instead of what used to be a P2P, it turned into a F2P which is even nicer. Basically it’s primarily PvP and you’ll be teaming up with other players constantly. You can get in cars with them while they drive and you shoot. Or you can drive your own car to the destination right into an epic battle zone of crossfire. APB is pretty well known for it’s character, clothing, and car customization. It’s a pretty fun game with leveling.
- WoW is best played with friends and is very fun but yes it is a load of questing. The Horde has a better plot I’ve always been told and that’s what I usually played. If you have like 12 gigs of space(might even be more), I’d check out the free portion that lets you level up to the max which is level 20. I’ve maxed out a level 85 myself since I had a guild full of friends to keep things interesting. If you don’t play with friends or a guild, you may not enjoy it as much. The PvP system of battlegrounds and also conquests is set up well. Even better is the Dungeon system, I’d mention raids, but those aren’t until you max out and then get great equipment. Dungeons that start at level 15 allow you to team up with a group of four others and take on an instance together with tougher monsters and bosses. Great for exp, loot, and overall a fun experience as long as everyone knows what they’re doing enough.
- Dragon Nest which came out a couple months back is definitely a fun action paced game. You can play at whatever difficulty suits you similar to Dungeon Fighter. Everything outside of town is also an instance, so it’s good to play with friends. You don’t need to play with other people, but you may not get as good experience or loot from harder difficulties you can’t take on without other people. Certain classes start in different areas at the beginning, so if you play with a friend and don’t see them, you’ll end up meeting up soon enough. I enjoyed the game a load when playing it.

Well that’s just some MMO knowledge I have to offer, if you’re wondering about any MMO or have any questions, just message me =] Pretty big on MMOs among other games. If you scroll down on this link you’ll see a ton of the MMORPG’s I’ve played personally: http://www.mmorpg.com/profile.cfm?username=Snakester95

Well, at least it’s a pretty game, which I wasn’t expecting it to not be.

Nice and cinematic as it is, I haven’t heard anything about the game. (I don’t actively follow it.) That trailer didn’t tell me anything, as a “new” player, either. Deathstreaks? Are those making a comeback, maybe? Is the game more balanced to give newer players at least a bit of customization out the gate, rather than 10 levels down the line? Those are two things I care most about for CoD to do, but I haven’t heard one way or another on them. :/ So far, all I’ve been told is, “Remember these killstreaks? Yeah, they’re back. And a few new ones.”

Pretty game all the same, though.

Instead of kill streaks they’re making point streaks. Which basically means anything you can do to get points will probably set you up for a streak. So basically it’s even easier to get streaks now. Not sure how many points you’ll need for the lowest and the best streak, but I mean it is also a good idea for being a bit more noob friendly. Probably a good idea as opposed to just the old kill streak systems in the past.

I’m more of a BF3 person, but I mean I play Call of Duty and Battlefield so I mean I’ll definitely be getting it too. Some of the trailers do look pretty epic. Some of the trailers just make me think MW2 as well, but I mean it’ll probably be all in the different maps and the campaign a lot. Curious about how the guns will be and with attachments and such.

Edit Just checked the above link =P

What the gosh darn diddly is all that?
Thanks, but no thank you >:

It means like 8x the normal experience rate. 9x the normal party experience rate. Etc. Unless 3x is the normal or something. So basically you’ll level much quicker.

Indeed, but my .12 K/D ratio puts them all to shame! Noobs ain’t got shit on me! I even got a 6 kill streak going once!

I’d recommend not playing run-n-gun style to improve your overall efficiency in CoD. Taking the road less traveled and catching the flank is extremely effective. This holds true in almost any shooter.

The flank is always effective. But if you’re good you can pull off the run-n-gun, even though it’s not recommended.
