@KaneGC Do you think you could get some sort of an roadmap for the game published here, especially for the Kongregate platform?

I don’t think anyone expects you release all features and content currently present on the Facebook version but we don’t like been left sitting in the dark either. There is simply too many good (enough) games on kongregate for me to look back after a game has lost it’s fun factor. However should you(=Crowdstar) post a message saying you are going to add new material by Month X it just might be worth it to hang around and check it out, and maybe even spend some money on the game.

This might sound rude but…

I like this game, I really do, but it’s not my my job to hang around hoping something fun comes out, it just isn’t. It’s the game publishers job to convince me, their (potential) customer that their product is worth my money. And Kane, I know you are just a middle man here but, but Please try to make the developers understand that if they want the kongregate player base to produce money they need to make us believe that we matter. Nobody wants to go to a store where the clerk doesn’t know when they’ll get new product.

Good to know that I don’t need to waste anymore time on this game. I liked the concept and gameplay+graphics were nice, but I never spent any money in this game because it always felt too incomplete.

If anyone truly want’s to live in a polygamous union, I won’t stand in their way. But I do not believe that it is possible to live in such way and be true equals. In love and in marriage there has always been certain amount of greed involved, is not the marriage ceremony in a way a shout to the world; “Hands Of, Hes/Shes Mine?”

I cannot believe that any single human with a healthy ego would be capable of sharing something so intense as a loved one with another human and remain fully committed. Before anyone should be allowed to commit into a polygamy I would like to get answers to 2 questions.

1. Do you believe yourself to be so great that one human cannot satisfy your needs?

And in reverse

2. Do you believe yourself/your love to be so small that you need another person to ‘fill in the gap’?

I personally believe that the real troubles begin AFTER North Korea’s wipeout:

North Korea attacks someone => It gets conquered by the allies => USA builds a fully functional military base within spitting distance of Beijing => China gets seriously pissed => Sends it’s troops to take over => And now we have two giant babies fighting over candy neither of them actually wants.

So far economics hasn’t worked, so if you think we absolutely need to get North Korea off the map, we’ll have to do it the more… forward way.

As long as China is willing to deal with North Korea, western trade blockades have zero to no chance of working. Besides I have a feeling that Kim Jong-un, the current North Korean leader, isn’t willing to just let go and disappear. Should rations ever get too low he would probably proclaim that the evil allies are trying to destroy their great country and declare war against South Korea. The numbers are taken from wikipedia estimates, but do you think that 9,495,000 brainwashed fanatics would cause some problems to the allied forces?

What is the future of this game? After going through 6wawes forums I found no mention of future plans or current plans for that matter, actually those forums looked pretty dead.

The game looks great, don’t get me wrong. But it has no story after the few first quests, you just keep building bigger and bigger cities. Because of the way the combat is made it’s more about numbers than tactics. This has removed the need for me to actually care about troops, if it didn’t die I just send in another attack. Resources are endless in this game, the Trader’s Post has more of an symbolic value than anything else. you are more likely to run out of warehouse space than actual resources.

While I’m not an Psychology / Ethics student, I do feel the need question an assumption you’ve made inside your argument.

My favorite counter-argument to this has to be the Chewing gum ban in Singapore. Criminal laws vary from place to place, and the only people to be truly aware of them would be the local lawyers. The complexity of the modern law makes it almost impossible to be always aware of the legal implications of one’s actions.

I think that the main objection to brain alteration has to be its ease of use in large scale population and mind control. For example, I’m now king and its illegal to disagree with me. Anyone committing this criminal act will be sent to a correctional facility where this evil behavior will be “phased out.”

While I do believe that true evil should always be fought against and removed when possible, the tools you are proposing are both too strong and too easily misused to be allowed to exist. Not yet anyway.
