…so Lazer, why do you hate energy, it gives you lots of nice things. You wouldn’t want to be stuck with only basic blocks and bricks… or no smileys..

You can make a lot of good art with just starter blocks, y’know.

havent u made like 20 crews

He’s made a few, and has acted like he knows how to run one, and if someone else’s doesn’t run like his, it will fail. Though his seem to never get a single world made. huh.

Problem being is that every person… when they go to the lobby.. is really joining a room. Yep. A level.

Except… it’s a different KIND of level.

It’s a level that’s centered around only that one person. If you try to join someone else’s lobby, you’re booted. The shop, … well… EVERYTHING you see in the lobby is controlled by the lobby connection. Like I said. You’re all in different rooms. Creating a lobby chat would have to fix all the shop, friends, etc. to make sure each player gets their information, on top of the chat.

I guess it’s possible, but MrShoe would have to create a lobby chat GUI.

I have fifteen commands (reasons) why MrShoe doesn’t like to make GUI.

Hey, there is a fun button called the “edit button”! Hit it to avoid douple posts! Also, how on earth are you supposed to code that? Trust me, it would not be easy. They need to make it find out that is there a exit out from the place it teleports you, and is there a coin door, do you have enough coins to get through it, etc. Also, it could make you easily get to the end of level.

Yeah. But that’s only a very small part of the problem. You also have the problem of the levels where it’s just a boss and wide open space… or minis and wide open space, etc. There’s no formula that can match what the creator of a level wants the players to do. Human ingenuity is required. Chris probably stumbled upon this idea long ago. But then he realized… Hey! Spawn points are a great way for the users to decide EXACTLY where a player will spawn. And there you have it. Spawn points!

Derp.. you are forgetting potions can be turned off, along with certain potions being turned off.

Derp.. you are forgetting potions can be turned off, along with certain potions being turned off.I think a better idea would be to teleport where you clicked. Like if there’s a mini that you just can’t do, you click passed it and continue on.

Don’t forget about the purple coins, too! And the super woots you get once a day. Dark wizard is no longer available; after the 100th person got it that was it. There is also now a class 13 that when you reach, you get perma-banned for playing way too fucking much.

Yes, it’s a crew that creates fun activities (sorta :P) instead of building worlds that often take too much time and would often end in a regretful ending…

And yes, we have bots too! We got Krock’s, the snake bot, and tons more!

I’ll add it soon, gotta make the other things first. ;P

Topic: Everybody Edits / Everybody Edits Bureau of Crew Statistics

These are some pretty bad factors.

Activeness making worlds: This is a yes or no question and isn’t really a factor. A crew doesn’t need to be making new worlds to be a good crew. Crews don’t get worse over time, as if time somehow makes worlds worse if other worlds aren’t made.

Worlds: It’s obvious you need worlds, but why does size matter? “It’s not the size, it’s how you use it” that matters. Worlds aren’t automatically worse for being medium and not massive. What if I made a massive world and only used a medium sized world section of it? Is it automatically better than massive worlds, simply because it’s a bigger world?

Quality: Yes. Quality does matter, unlike quantity which you’ve been favoring so far. However, define what’s a “fun” and original mini. I’ve seen “new” minis before but they’re just completely not fun. I’ve seen overused minis that are easier. Both ends are bad, finding a medium would be better. What if a world has beautiful minimap art but the design totally sucks in game? Not fun at all to play, with arrows thrown up all over?

Members’ Activeness: Again about activeness, who cares? And it’s activity. Member activity doesn’t make levels of crews better.

I feel your grading scale is flawed and will simply look at your list as a list of random order and not by which crews are better. Besides, these are all gradings by you. Instead of arrogantly calling this the “Everybody Edits Bureau of Crew Statistics,” a less arrogant-sounding name would be “List of crews by order of what I like.”

Personally, I think that the Halloween update SUCKED! I mean seriously, a few weird background and weird eyes? Wtf?
Besides, Halloween isn’t for another 19 days. He DEFINETLY rushed it instead of making good, hard-worked-on updates. Personally, I preffer instead of updates each week, content that he worked hard and spent time on. The boosters were great, but when it comes to holidays, I want special stuff, not some crappy backgrounds that I might use for trees and some weird freaky eyes. Plus, not much time to buy smileys with 250 max energy because he updates every week. I wish he updated every two weeks instead, would make EE better in my opinion.

I can see eyes being used as ornamits, wheels, etc. I have 200 max energy and have time to get the new content and some other things. You just have to get on to spend your energy every 8 hours, or for you, 10 hours, since you get 24 energy an hour, I think. I just wish energy spent at a time could be bumped down to 25. Sometimes I have to go somewhere for more than 8 hours and I have 30 energy, so instead of being able to spend 50, I just spend on things like coin doors.

Oh, I think the monster smiley could be improved a bit. Make it a little fuzzie/shaggy. It’s a smooth circle right now. I almost feel like a…. black zombie. It would be cool if I looked more like chubacca.

Your comments are mostly pretty negative, however you think they come across. Many of them made me think you were really bad at the game but blaming the game rather than yourself, like your comments complaining about the physics in various games.

AS far as comment ratings themselves go, personally I try to rate up comments that would be useful to someone else reading it. Based on the top rated comments on some of the site’s best games, other people do the same. None of your comments are any use to anyone other than potentially the developer, so they’re unlikely to be voted up.

I’m not going to list good things about a game if the problem is the bad things. Bad physics make a game unpredictable, such as how stacking something will BOUNCE about and randomly fall in a direction, when while using correct physics, the stack would stand still. Or, maybe you have to shoot something at a wall to make it bounce around to hit somewhere, but when you throw it at the wall, it bounces off at a different angle, or may hit the area between the two bricks which makes it bounce up or down when it shouldn’t There’s many things that bad physics can do to make a game much more frustrating. A lot of the games I am good at, but the frustration from these poor physics makes me not want to play because they simply don’t make the games fun. I play games for fun, not to be irratated by stupid glitches. There is a difference between a negative comment and a bad comment.

Ordinarily nobody looks at your comment history (unless you make a thread like this one, of course!) and having negatively rated comments doesn’t hurt you. You can’t even see the rating of the comments from your comment history page, you can only see them on the comments themselves.

People generally uprate comments they agree with and downrate comments they disagree with. So yes, if you write negative comments about a fun and popular game, it may get downvoted. Don’t worry about that, and don’t take it personally.

In the case of Dolphin Olympics 2, your “glitch” is actually a feature. Your dolphin is supposed to do that tailslide when you press that key.

So, you get downrated for having an opinion that differs with everyone else. Fantastic. A feature? Seems more like a glitch. If you fall down all the way from Mars and slam into the pool and shoot back up at amazing speed, you shouldn’t suddenly stop and stand on the water. Yes, of course making it to space is impossible, but suddenly stopping in a split second and standing on the water should be a glitch rather than a feature. Maybe the creator couldn’t remove the glitch so they made it a trick. It’s the most ridiculous trick of the game. It originally being a glitch seems very likely.

I am new here and I just want to know if rating comments actually does anything good or bad for you. I’ve been posting comments pointing out glitches and saying what could be fixed in the game while being nice about it, but I always seem to get negatives on my comments. What am I suppose to do, sugar coat all my comments and be a complete liar? Why must people be so immature to rate someone down because they don’t like a game? I don’t want to get some bad reputation for having opinions on some games. I like some, I don’t like others, and I get rated down for that. Brilliant.

Topic: General Gaming / Reactance Final Boss Guide

I finally beat it but with a different strategy. Just stay at the upper right corner (as close as you can get without receiving any damage for “touching” the boss.. even though you aren’t) and you’ll be protected from the short shooting attack and the pulse attack. For rockets, just do the circling thing. When the boss does the long attack with the bullets, hide in the corner and you will be safe for the most part, but as the bullets shift to the right, you will be hit at the last few seconds of the attack. If at full health, you’ll be knocked down to about half health. If you keep repeating this, you should be able to beat the boss easily. I used the fully upgraded laser.

This final boss is terrible. When it does that insane pattern attack, it kills me in seconds even if I’m in a “safe” spot and not even being touched by anything. There’s too much health. I can only slightly get halfway through the boss and then I die quickly in 3 seconds from touching absolutely nothing. Oh, the design is terrible, too. The two normal bosses look better than this.

Not NEARLY as good as Matt’s stuff.
He is objectively, undeniably and inherently better than every other character.

I can’t play as well with him than with her. I guess it all depends on how you play. I find Anna the best character to use in the game.

http://img840.imageshack.us/i/bulletheaven.png/

EDIT: Also, that is untrue. The characters are balanced and the only way for one to be better is if you can use them better. I can use Anna better, so she’s the best character for me. You can use Matt well, so he’s the best for you. For other people, it’s Nolegs, Lance, or Natalie. Saying Matt is “objectively, undeniably, and inherently” the best just because you can’t use the other characters as well makes you sound arrogant.. and ignorant. There are multiple characters in the game which can be used in different ways, but are equal. It would be nonsensical for other characters to simply be better than others. If that were so, then the “weaker” characters serve no purpose.

Here, let me explain why Anna can be a good character: Her bomb lasts a long time. Ever tried it? It lasts for several seconds, pushing away all bullets and damaging all enemies who are within the green area. After the bomb is finished, all bullets are pushed away off screen. This can be very useful during tough bosses, especially during tricky patterns, as it makes you invincible for longer than a pattern duration and takes chunks off the boss’ health. Her second attack is very useful, too. It can last for a few patterns. It lasts a LONG time. It acts as your main weapon, which triples your power. With it, you can easily spread and cover almost the whole screen. Since it attacks from the side, you could use it on those tank bots on the last row of levels which shoot those bombs. I find those difficult to deal with so I can just sit beside them and cause them to explode.. you can also do this with Natalie’s second. It is very easy to clear the field with her second. You just have to move left and right and most basic enemies will die. On the desert level with the cat statues, you can easily destroy them using this method. If you use her correctly, it’s like controlling three characters at a time. Her meter lasts a long time and refils within seconds after depletion which lets it last about 90% or more of the level.. you just have to remember to keep activating it, which is something I forget to do sometimes. Anna has her hitbox marked on her back. This lets you know how to maneuver yourself even better, especially if using the keyboard controls. I prefer the mouse, but it’s still useful to see exactly where you need to protect. Anna is an excellent character. I think this is why she’s the last and hardest character to unlock. Only the toughestand more dedicated of players gain access to her.

Your picking a sub-par character for no reason at all, making it harder then it needed to be.
Guess it could be set as a personal challenge, though.

Harder? I think her bombs and 2nd weapon are quite useful.

I’m done with this game.

I managed to get an S on Oblivion. It’s really difficult, but I find it helps if you go to the options menu and uncheck the glowing effect for bullets. This lets you see gaps between bullets easier. If you still have trouble, then trying zooming in at 400%. This will cause the game to possibly run a little slower and will make the gaps appear bigger, letting you see gaps that you may normally not have seen. I was able to beat Oblivion with 2 bombs left and only getting hit once. I use Anna.

I can’t imagine playing a BH shooter with a mouse. So imprecise.

Imprecise? What in the world are you talking about? It seems more precise to me than the keyboard controls. If I quickly tap the left arrow on the keyboard, I move over quickly about 10 to 15 pixels. When using the mouse, I can easily move over just one pixel if needed. I can also move around more freely rather than only being able to move in 8 directions with the keyboard. I think this is why the mouse controls are enabled by default, because it’s more precise.
