The “so” should be a “go”. IMHO, anything less than beating Hippolyta is not badge worthy. Beating Hippolyta takes maybe an hour of clicking the buttons that Inferno Legend tells you to click.

Anything below level 20 for an Infernal Legend badge is silly. Level 20 is roughly when the game actually lets you do stuff and stops railroading you through the tutorial. I would also so with a beat Hippolyta badge as being the bare minimum allowable.

That said, I’d be very wary badging an MMO that has maybe a core group of 1000 players.

I’m pretty sure this API stat doesn’t exist (and would be a weird stat for Mitoza to report anyways, since it doesn’t really have an ending.) It certainly does not get sent on either game start or on being returned to the initial seed state.

An easy badge for completing any three endings alone would be fair, compare it to Relive your Life that has an easy badge. A medium badge for completing all endings would also be cool..

There doesn’t seem to be any API, at least at first glance. It’s unlikely (but not inconcievable) that a 3 year old game will suddenly have API added to it.

While I haven’t been pushing the anti-Cupcakeria side as much as others, my argument has generally involved mentioned how the grinding in Papa’s games is physically painful (as in it actually hurts my wrists throguh the repetative and constant motions.) Snail Bob fairly clearly doesn’t have that problem. (To be fair, most games don’t have that problem: Balloon Invasion is probably one of the few games that is comparable to Papa’s XXXXXeria for damaging wrists.)

Granted, that’s only an argument that a Papa’s game should only be getting a single easy badge, that’s the equivalent of maybe 3-4 in game day’s worth of play.

Edit: The real reason Snail Bob doesn’t get near the complaints that Papa’s does is that Snail Bob badges tend to be earnable in about half an hour, and even an easy Papa’s badge takes like 3 hours.

There’s apparently a new version of Adventure Capitalist being pushed out soonish. If there will be new badges, they should wait until that change happens. (Whether or not idle games should be badged, I think we can agree that it’s better to get a stable version of a game before badging it.)

Greg, talk with the dev of Lexicopolis and get him to add API. I’m not sure what stats would be good/possible for him to add, but that game needs a couple of easy/medium badges ASAP.

The sort of badge I’d love to see is something like “Make 20 different types of buildings in a game”. I suspect you’ll only be able to get score/population/jobs/fun as stats though.

After talking with ihatethisfing, level 14 is doable on hardcore (there are only a group of 6 demons, followed by another group of 6 demons.) It’s even doable using a sword build.

Return to Overworld from the pause screen allows you to keep your items, including large triangles.

Do the enemies on the last screen on level 14 hardcore mode stop spawning after you kill enough of them, or do you have a clever way to dodge all the fireballs from the 6 perpetually spawning demons long enough to get to the exit?

I bet you haven’t played level 14 on hardcore mode yet. I would love for that game to get badges, and it’s possible to get all 90 large triangles without beating level 14 on hardcore. But the last screen of that level is stupidly brutal right now.

The point is that there’s no reason you couldn’t have found that out by playing FPA for 1-2 hours. Instead of spamming lots of suggestions, take some time to play the games so you can make better suggestions.

I suggested a shorter easy badge for Dangerous Adventure (beat a level or 2, which is 10-20 creatures.) I also suggested longer medium and hard badges (3-4 dreams for the medium, and all treasures collected for the hard. To be fair, if you can beat level 16, you can collect every treasure in the game.)

Have you played FPA? Requiring all 11 hats and all 4 patterns can’t be a badge requirement, since both goals require paying kreds to get a key.

Also, the level 1 speed running requirement feels harder than the other two speed running requirements.

If you want time trial badges, then people need to run the time trials and come up with decent times. But I just spent 20 minutes doing time trials (having beaten the game, but not run the time trials) and got on three of the four Kong leaderboards.

My current times (the API rounds down to the nearest second):
Level 1: 25.46
Level 2: 31.67
Level 3: 21.81
Level 4: 42.48

Given that time trials don’t have enemies, I have a hard time seeing a time trial badge being worth more than a medium.
