Topic: Dream World / Official Suggestions Thread

Probably been suggested, but an item or something that could stop enemies from running away would be a good addition. That way we wouldn’t have to worry about them running and making us get less coins and experience. Even if it were a gem item, I think it would be a big help.

Sorry about that. I should have just left it alone. That said, it was not meant to be hostile, like your post clearly was. Let’s just forget about this, sound good? Also, I never disagreed with you.(just throwing that out there.)

As for the on-topic part, you are right, my examples definitely don’t represent every possible situation, I’m just using examples that made sense to me.

That’s something I hate about the criticisms of homosexuality. 2 girls can be make out on a park bench, and no one cares, but god forbid 2 guys hold hands walking down the street together(bad example, I know). Gays get criticized, but lesbians get left alone, and even encouraged (by horny guys).

I knew about the miso- prefix, but I guess you’re right about sexism. It doesn’t always include hate, just bigotry/superiority.

The difference is that one is in a doughnut.

also we don’t call them doughnuts because of the nuts of dough

we call them it because it seems more posh

And it’s an excuse for us Brits/Canadians to feel superior to doughnut-eating Americans.

Sorry about that one. I’m stuck doing exams and am pretty stressed/pissed right now. It’s nothing personal. Still, that Misandric stuff is pretty interesting, even though it seems pretty similar to sexism with a cooler name…

Just a quick/interesting point, though: whilst I know the thread isn’t about this sort of ‘asexuality’, it is impossible for most mammals, inculding humans, to asexually reproduce. Just thought you’d like to know.

How is anything I said misandric? I said that in general, people accept lesbians more than gays. I accept them both equally, myself. Also, I think most people know that people and (most) animals don’t actually reproduce that way.

I think that’s because for some reason, lesbians are much more accepted than gays, so the girls who experimented in college are more open about it.

LOL,,,, COULD happen?

Well, there’s Lou Diamond Phillips

Anne Hesch….who has “flip-flopped”,,,,,er, how many times now?

AND, my second wife….who expressed great “discomfort” at an advance by a dear (female) friend at an early age (when many ppl “experiment”). I have little info on what cause the “switch to the other team”….as we “drifted apart” after the divorce. Hell, the reason could have been ME….lol

I AM notorious for “converting” lesbians. >wink<

You got me on the ‘could’. Most of the time that happens with bisexuals, who have a slight preference, but then find themselves attracted to the sex they weren’t attracted to before. That said, I’m sure straight people(or gay) can have their orientations change on them. Just ‘cause I haven’t seen it doesn’t mean it can’t.

The way I see it is, if you actually are asexual then yes it is lifelong, just like when you’re straight, you’re always straight, etc. And I’m glad you brought up celibacy, since a lot of people get that mixed up.

@Marh: That last part, I have to say, seems like it should not classify as asexual. It is definitely common for asexuals to have romantic/emotional attraction to other people though, hence the staight-asexual bit. Masturbation I think should technically exclude you from being asexual though. Because there are so few asexuals at this point, it is hard to have a concrete definition.

Why would it be accepted as a sexual orientation? Isn’t it simply a lack of sexual orientation? I guess the only reason you could back it up with is that white is often accepted as a color.

Even being asexual myself, I’m not sure if it should be considered an orientation or not. For example, I still like girls and want relationships, but am asexual, which identifies me as straight-asexual(?). That’s mainly why I asked that one. I wish it made more sense than that, but I think you also have a point with the white is still a colour thing. I’ll have to think about that one for a bit. I didn’t realize how hard that question was to actually answer.

Sorry ‘bout that….. I had a few gafes that likely made parts of it confusing.

BUT, I cleaned up most of them.

Ya do know “the little blue pill” is the “boner pill”,,, Viagra,,,,et al?

Girls who are “devout asexuals” are ones that "won’t put out".

Any others that I can clear up for ya?

I know what you meant by the blue pill. Mostly I just had a hard time actually reading your post. The sentences don’t seem to have any context… But, I’m not too worried about it, so it’s all good.

I’m guessing you’re asking what asexuality is. Asexuality is where someone has no sexual attraction to either sex(as opposed to homosexuals with same-sex, hetero with opposite). They still seek relationships, just not sexually(some don’t even do that). It’s not very common, so most people don’t really know about it. The best I can really do is give you a link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asexual
I wish I knew how to explain it better, but without specific questions about it, I can’t really explain the whole thing. If you want to know more after reading the article, I’ll be glad to help you out.
Edit:Karma beat me to it, but I’ll still answer questions as they come up.

@SaintAjora: That probably wasn’t the best opening question. Either way, I’ll leave it there for now.
Some more, better questions are in order though:How do you feel about asexuals? Have you met one? Had you heard of asexuality before this thread? Do you think asexuality is a good trait for people(not distracted by the thought of sex)? Also, for those of you who are asexual(if any) are you happy with it, or would you rather not be?

Saw this on another forum, thought it would be good to get some other opinions on it. What are your opinions on asexuals/asexuality? You can talk about personal experiences(are you/have you met one) or pretty much anything regarding asexuality. I know you guys are pretty smart, so hopefully this will go over well. To get started: Do you think asexuality should be accepted as an orientation?

You are a Spider! (your score: 29)
29

Characters: Arcas and Nelma in the Aspect of Crow trilogy

Powers: Artistic genius, ability to see patterns and sense trouble from a distance

As a Spider, you’re artistic, intuitive, and independent—maybe even a little eccentric. You can become so absorbed in your endeavors that you lose track of the outside world and the people in it. But what you give in return is magic, pure and simple.

Best matches: Cougars, Hawks, Owls

Watch out for: Wolves, Otters, Bears

It’s actually pretty close. Interesting stuff.

Even if the world was definitely going to end on December 21, 2012, Why should we panic? The world will end whether we create super-bunkers or not. That said, the world won’t end on that day anyway.

That’s a good point. This way people will gradually find out about this and the groups would grow slowly instead of all at once.
