Wow, is Deep Six really twice as slow as Hook? I thought Hook took forever to reload. Long-run lets you fire multiple shots but is weak. Took me forever to gather enough gold for that one and I’m not thrilled with it. That’s my main complaint about the game, there is no detailed specifications given about any upgrade which is painful in a game that’s all about upgrades. I usually just try to upgrade to the stuff that kills me most often :P

Samuel, I think the latter may already be true. I’ve noticed my Exp to be higher than I expected after fighting some really tough dudes, even though my kill ratio was pretty poor. I haven’t tried to quantify it though.

Could one of the devs (or someone) could post a link to more detailed information about the game? There already have been a few tidbits here in the comments, for example “go to battle” tries to give you balanced opponents, info about how Clans work… How would a new player discover this info on their own? Most advanced players aren’t really into chatting in-game even if you find one that speaks your language.

Specifically I am curious for more information about the pros/cons of various weapons. The shop gives very little information other than “stars” for fire rate and damage. This game appears to have been a Russian phenomenon long before it was ported to Kongregate, and searches nearly exclusively turn up Russian language sites or Russian-language Youtube videos; very hard to search for meaningful info about game mechanics even with text translators. If there were a Russian site that actually had useful info for relatively new players, I’d really appreciate a link so one could go there directly and view with translate.

They are in a “Clan”. Look at the bottom right. The experience points are divided between the player and the clan they belong to.

Ryan, thanks for interacting but really most of those suggestions are not addressing the problem. Your game is clearly saving the game state for things like the businesses I own, how many, managers, upgrades, etc… So it’s not a matter of failing to store or recall the game state. I’ve played a bunch of idle games on Kong and haven’t had a problem with any of them calculating offline credits. So enough with the incense and holy water. Fix the code.

The vector line for the object ball is far too easy to abuse. By placing a straight-edge on the screen one can easily sink what would otherwise be a difficult shot. You might as well be casting the line all the way to the bumper or pocket — your players do.

In any case it’s too much of a crutch. You should just show how the cue and object will contact each other — that’s all.
