When this classifies as a conversation, I’ll be classified as Ghengis Khan. For one, you both spent half your arguments attacking the person(s) supporting the opposing side. This is called argumentum ado hominem, or, in English, Argument to the Man. It’s what happens when insults take the place of logic, and you try and discredit their stance indirectly by casting doubt on the person themselves. It is a logical fallacy, and should be avoided at all costs.

If it appeared we were insulting each other, I understand, but we weren’t, and the two of us were mildly talking. Neither one of us was offended.

Second, rather than quoting selectively, as you’ve seen me do several times in this same thread, you both quoted the entire post, just to add one (usually fallacious) line. This is called a quote pyramid, and is not allowed.

This reason makes sense.

Third, several of your later posts have consisted of nothing but insults that are directed at me for no reason other than that I am modding the forums as uniformly as I can. I think it should be obvious why those were hidden.

For that I am sorry, it just seemed you didn’t want me posting only because you didn’t like my opinion.
