[Consortium] - feedback on the new release
I just started playing Tyrant about a few weeks ago. It was a fun game that was very amusing. I bought a good amount of warbonds since I have no qualms about supporting a game developer who makes a game I enjoy.
However, with this update, I’m a little annoyed. I understand that they want to add new content/mechanics to the game via crafting, which is pretty cool. The problem is the scale. There is literally no way to get the required amount of materials for crafting unless you are on this game 24/7, and even then that would take a ridiculously long time. It’s entirely possible to make crafting rewards unique and give players a true sense of achievement upon completion without making it next to impossible.
Not only that, but live arena is extremely unfair to new players, like me. I stopped at 4k arena rating because I wanted to play missions and grind out new/better cards and return to arena grinding later. Now, I can give that idea up. Honestly, I understand why they want a live arena. It gives more hardcore/late game players meaning and purpose to playing arena. However, it just gimps new players. Why don’t they make it so that grinding up to 5k points can be done via live or auto, but going above 5k requires live arena only. This achieves the goal of allowing a more purposeful live arena and making the two new arena rewards somewhat exclusive, while not completely raping new players.
