So… this is a dungeon rampage, where heroes enter dungeons to kill monsters and loot treasures. As the intro of the game says, we fight for treasures and gold.

Why not to be hired then?

How does this work:
- If u are in a dungeon (and it gets harder and harder), u can pay an amount of gold to hire the services of a hero.
- The hero hired must be in your friend list, online and not in a quest.
- The amount of gold will depend on the hero hired (lets say 10xlvl) and will be payed at the end of the quest (to avoid possible cheats).
- A hero can only be hired once per friend (to avoid possible cheats and, to promote having a lot of friends).

I know this will possibly fall on deaf ears but, what do u think?

Nice post (I could’n resist to the “click-me” XDDD)

For the rare chest opening, I would say:
- Open rare chests at level 60, when ur stats are filled properly, to get some cool staff. Then
- Continue quests/farming/leveling till you reach 100 and then open rare chests again to get your final cool set.

Of course, this is for minimize the gold waste.

sometimes, without a reason, a character starts flashing till the dungeon is over. I’ve seen that twice: one in my character and one in others character.

That has no sense at all.
The problem of Dark Barrows aren’t skeletons, but cloacked purple mages. And sorcerer are much better on killing them. Anyone can handle with skeletons, even sorcerer with his weakness against them. Area attacks and just patience, but sorcerer may heal himself and survive.
It doesn’t matter the times u attack if ur weapon just sucks and have the lowest power per level of the game.
I’ve seen other players with lowest levels do much better than a skilled samurai with like 20 levels over them. Specially ranger, but that’s a different theme to talk about.

The question here is: is there anything samurai does that can not be done for other characters? Like chef cooking, ranger access to scrolls and powerful quick ranged weapons, vampire hunter’s traps and double shooting, sorcerer powerful scrolls or pyromancer’s runes. The answer is: NO. Everything he does or has can be done or had by other characters, and done with more efficiency.

which katana does magic damage? what’s AOE?

I’ve a sorcerer and it’s much better for dark barrows than samurai. Even if samurai is good against skelletons, wizard is the best against cloacked guys AND can heal himself and others. Area attacks, with patience, deal with skelletons.

I can do most of dungeons alone with my sorcerer. It’s very uncommon to do that with my samurai without expending healing bombs (same level).

What I say here is that samurai is the most underpowered of all classes, and I suggested some changes to balance it.

This character is so underpowered in comparison with the rest.
- can not heal himself in any way (as only vampire hunter)
- Is weak against all armored guys (the more common in the game)
- most of his weapons are useless or repeated (swords/katanas and throwing knives/shurikens) so he won’t use his third weapon slot.
- poison damage is ridiculous

I would suggest:
- A third weapon to deal with armored guys. Just to damage them normally instead of weakly.
- Increase the poison damage (instead of the first suggest maybe)
- Increase the duration of the summoned ghost samurais
- Add a skill to have a chance to EVADE attacks. That would increas his survival a bit.

I’d suggest that players could start an auction to sell their stuff. That wold help to get coins to open new chests and help others to get some specific weapons they could need.

Understood, but that’s not the point.
I’ve just played a “only friends” game. A friend of mine joined me (by clicking the buton) and then another guy entered. I asked my friend if he was in his friend list. He said no. He was neither on mines. I asked him and he said that he just clicked to play that dungeon and entered on mines.

So, I’ve checked that it doesn’t work properly.

Those two functions doesn’t work at all. The first one only gives you a less chance that anyone enters your dungeon.
The second one it’s just not working. I click on the block button at the end of the quest and it isn’t added to the ignore list.

Thanks for your comments Ruffyl.
The main difference between Jotun’s abilty and Infiltrate is that you are able to see the unit and it can not defend (as if the opposite unit has fear) until it’s ready.

I understand your feeling against Curse. I think the same way just because there are some categories of abilities and Berserk is not in the top, so Curse won’t be. Weaken is still better in most situations (as Rally is) just because they are good for fast games and/or slow games. Berserk and Curse just work for middle/last of the game. But that’s another topic ;)

I hope Skolu isn’t right and Devs take care of players oppinions about the develop of the game.

First of all, maybe this is not the right place to talk about that, or those abilities have been yet suggested or rejected. Anyway, excuse me in that case.

INFILTRATE (based in Jotun’s ability):
- The unit with this ability will not defend nor be targeted or attacked until it’s ready.

CURSE (here I see two options):
a) Opposite to berserk: if the unit with this ability damages a unit, the unit damaged loses permanently one attack (it’s attack points can never fall below 0).

b) Random: the unit with this ability has a 50% chance to decrease permanentely 1 attack point to a random enemy unit (again, it’s attack points can never fall below 0).

I havn’t seen that idea suggested before.

How about an action card that hasten already played cards.

For example:
I play a 3 turns delay card. Next turn that card delays for 2 and I play “hasten” so it delays only for 1.

It activates on a random card of your own.

Also it could be the opposite action card that increases the delay of a random enemy card.

Again, sorry if this idea has already be posted.

There are a lot of options but not this one that actually has Apollo.
You could even let it have 4 armor (let’s get crazy) but not the evade so you say: shit, I don’t have strikes… I can not kill it.
That’s how you kill a deck with armor: strikes. There are just two decent units with pierce and both are unique so that’s never the way.
Or let them have armor + regen 8!! (woooooooow awesome, it will never die!). But you’ll still be able to jam it to avoid activate the healing all 3.
Or let them have evade + regen 2000 but you just can deal damage normally to it so it will die soon or later.

But folks… evade + armor + 5hp never
