In the Grinnfinite Dungeon I constantly get disconnected in the earlier levels (as early as level 3!!). Later, I replicated it (also in GD) when using a -defence potion on an enemy: instant disconnect.

It feels like this only happens when I deal ~ > 100 damage to enemies, but not always. Usually when I use my berzerker, who has an attack of 210.

I’m also a bigtime badge collector on Kong. Recent badges on games that can be played with Kreds is a very very sad change to see. When I see badges like the ones on Backyard Monsters appear I actually cry a little. And I’m afraid we’re not to blame GameStop this time!

That does not seem entirely fair. These developers of money-hungry games like Lord Of Ages, Heroes of Gaia, Utopia Kingdoms have gained Moderator status:

Nah.. I found the joker faces quite badly implemented. An award however is always nice

1. Think twice: Not in the way of not doing any contest, but in how this will turn out for their playerbase.
2. What’s wrong with the thread title?
3. Kongregrate had a great deal to do in this contest. They agreed, brainstormed and coded a challenge etc etc. On the matter of enabling the card to anyone it was their fault not to see there was another valid option.

Thank you for all the support you’ve shown in this thread. I really hope Kong will think twice before doing a similar contest next time. Many people have been posting they were able to obtain extra cards, though I haven’t received any yet. I’d be very grateful to whoever could send me a code, and if I accidentally receive more I will announce and give those away.

In that case, could you be so kind and share one of those codes? As you can see on my profile I’ve been collecting cards/badges & coupons since the very start, and I’d hate to be missing out.

Also I don’t get why people say it’s not Kongregate’s fault. They put up the challenge and agreed upon publishing it in the current format. Their also the first people the developer would listen to.

Agreed with BerenAlsgaard, Darkruler2005, Dath_Sirov, Laxaria and 123aaa789. Not being able to get the badge on your profile is one of my main reasons I’m against this “challenge”. Earlier US-only competitions did allow this by not requiring IRL stuff.

This is the first time a contest involved acquiring a real-life item with a clear discrimination of geolocation: U.S. Stores Only. I’m very disappointed for not being able to participate and I can only hope we won’t see these kind of contests in the future.

Since these giftcards are claimed to be ‘free’ I would appreciate it if anyone could send me a code.

Also the claim that Tyrant is “Free To Play” is complete bull. Just like many recent games there a very early point in the game that playing without paying Kreds means frustratingly short play sessions and no chance to compete against someone with a credit card.
