Unit 1
There was plenty of resources in the faculity, but the situation really mandated action. One of the officers handed unit 1 such resources from the stores, however.

(he said there would be few survivors, that doesn’t mean none. But that probability would be, likely, rather low. Maybe 5-8% or so seeing his tone… but oh well)
Unit 1
The agent was a police commander. Not really caring you followed him, he entered one of the stations there, and accessed the vault. In this place, most vaults had a vehicle port, but no decontamination units generally. However, the suits were presently sufficient as well. You would notice about 15 officers that had survived in the vault, most of them wearing heavy hazmat fatigues save the gasmask in the vault.
“Ah, I am Corvin, main patrol unit in this area. We estimate there actually may be a few survivors, but the odds on a survivor not in a vault was estimated to be about 8% likelihood, and mainly in the industrial areas of the city as well. But it’s better we wait here for either an advanced squad or try to locate those survivors before we re-secure the biospheres.”

sigh – most droids were like that. But now there was few officials left that really had much authority in that matter. The only proper leader left in these parts was technically Allen. But in this case, the officer had his credentials for the bot, and showed them. "Frankly, all the higher authorities are dead now. Ever since those riots and mutoids happened, few people survived the situation. I only survived because of this gasmask and suit, barely getting it on in time.
So, there are 2 options, and you may choose which one you prioritize. Either the biospheres or locating survivors. But frankly, there will be few survivors, if you ask me.
I must leave now, good luck." The agent said, then left.
Allen
The vault had a vehicle port in it, but most vaults in these areas were coordinated for such. Entering by that means, Vera was ready to interact.
Vera: “Hello. So, you were right after all, Allen. But how did you fund this project?”
Allen: “A few scientists confirmed the situation, but it was too late to save the proper officials, so I am the highest ranking official presently.”
Vera: “So the priority is to locate survivors, bring them to the base, and potentially secure the biospheres from those reported mutoids?”
Allen: “Yes. But we were better off bringing those forces to the biospheres instead, connect the nearby one to my base, then find people. If those ‘mutoids’ destroy those biospheres, we are doomed.”
Vera: “Agreed. So, should we locate survivors first?”
Allen: “We don’t have too much choice. Two squads then. One to secure the generators in this sector, and another to re-develop the biospheres. The cybers are likely to be in those plants, so it makes good sense.”

Unit 1
The agent shook your hand. “Thanks be, yes I am. I would gladly use diplomacy with you. But I am more worried about other mutoids and robots.
Your… a combat bot. What I would give to convince you to help a movement to re-secure the biospheres in this city. We can badly use them. But I fear that these cursed mutoids will probably try to destroy it in a rampage for more food.”

(same continent, but it’s about a 3 hour ride with a decent land vehicle generally to the south, though maps are unknown presently. Also, you remember most of this city, it’s a naval city with 3 biospheres in it, but no airport as that’s too expensive.)
Unit 1
An agent noticed the action, and laughed. Obviously, a human, but he was wearing a gasmask and biohazard suit. Obviously, that meant the myst was hazardous in nature. No wonder the riots happened, then.
The agent was afraid. He knew he couldn’t outrun you, and you looked rather powerful. “I think I am dead… or am I?” he said. “Most robots have gone haywire, killing any sentient being, instead of just mutoids. Are you friendly?”

It was a squad of about 15, fully outfitted. They didn’t have oxygen with these, but these suits and gasmasks were top of the line versions.
The vault had provisions for about 200 people, surviving for about 6 months in it.
Phil
Vera answered. “No suit, and no cleaning units either, unfortunately. But we are close to a prime vault good for extensive survival purposes. The details don’t matter, however, since now that vault should be activated. He should be here pretty soon, 15 minutes tops. By the way, this is a 3 day vault.”

Note: Now I need to say the rates for relief. It’s usually 3-7 points a day for toxin or rad release, unless you have treatment facilities. Please act on the values here out, also, they are to keep this game sorta tactical. I, and others, will say if you go overboard, within reason.
Allen
Allen, surprisingly, was rather close to Phil’s location. Besides, it was important to see how many important figures had survived the disaster, and that place was one of the lucky few to have developed a rather extensive vault other than his own.
Heading to the vehicle port in his vault, he located the keys to the hazmat truck, telling the other forces it was time to check for survivors, and begin the search & rescue operation.

Phil
Location: (city) Aladria.
Allen is in the same city.
The agent was disgruntled, but decided to follow you back into the vault, noticing it was rather clean in here.
“Does this vault have a cleaning unit for these toxins? They don’t easily dissipate, according to this monitor’s scans. Also, surprisingly, the device went haywire, but I managed to fix it.” He said.
Unit 1
Location: (city) Ideron.
There was little to do in this place. Many of the forces there had died, so all you could do is find more people, or, more importantly, discover more about the mutiods.
You noticed one of the 150 vents at a nearby mountain, spewing the myst. Though you had no sensors for detecting the atmosphere, it was clear due to how thick it was there that
it was the source of this disaster.
Standard protocol stated, however, that you should find other survivors.

Allen
Allen decided it was best to search for survivors. More than likely, there would be a few people that had survived this disaster.
Unit 1
This failsafe system made you realize that many of the other lesser expense bots would be turned by this malfunction in their programming. Data indicated that a scientist named Zane Fendris would be the one to contact about these bots, and signs indicated that he was a cybernetian – so he was probably alive somewhere.

Just then, some mutoids began approaching you. Horrific intelligence, but brutally strong. Even you would have a tough match trying to take these few down, and there was 3 of them.
In addition, 15 starving mutoids, also bent on destruction, began attacking you.
They all were brainless scavengers, clearly starving, looking for food of all things. But how was it that they couldn’t recognize what’s edible or not? Likely rather stupid…

They had forgot a biohazard suit of all things.
Toxin levels rise at a rate of 1 point every 15 rp seconds presently. Exposure over 40% will start mutating you. Exposure over 70% will kill you.
As you exited the vault, the old police forces that didn’t run into the vault began attacking you. They had become horrificly mutated. There was 10 In total, but 2 officers in the corner were unnafected, wearing a gasmask as well, but one was wearing a biohazard suit.
Alben: “here, you will need this at the least. it will monitor your present status.” Alben said, tossing a monitoring unit to your squad. Now you could keep track of your tox and rad levels efficiently!

It was rather quick to do so, but they began talking again after you obtained the supplies.
Vera: "Now, since I am squad captain, I am in charge of deciding the situation. First of all, we need information about this myst. All we know is that people transform into mutoids due to the myst, as those beings are probably called. What we don’t know is how hazardous it is, let alone the situation here, let alone the other vaults out there.
What we do know is that Allen was the one to spearhead this vault movement, and it has saved at least some of the people out there – so we think.
So, the first order of business is to don the hazmat equipments, locate Allen, then investigate one of those vents, agreed?"

The first locker was your locker. But as you approached it, you noticed three officers that you were teamed with.
Ken: “Ah, hello Phil. So, how did that last mission perform?”
Vera: “Ken, always the mission… I was ordered to come down here for some reason, and it cannot be good. We don’t just open this vault without a good reason. So, Phil, what’s going on topside? I am dying to know.”
Georn was silent as usual. It was a rare thing for him to talk, but he was a good friend of yours anyhow(right?)

Apparently, there was a disaster that emerged from 150 vents. Nobody knew what those vents were for, but they apparently were dangerous. Reports showed that the vents belched a rather lethal myst over the area in a few cases, due to a few underground accidents. Most of the victims had turned into horrific freaks. So, it was likely that these vents would have to be investigated, and we would have to see if the disaster could be remedied.
You recalled the mechas and cybers as well, who were the elites and laborers in some areas of the world, but the files indicated they were not to blame for these vents. Pretty much an unavoidable natural disaster.
There were a few lockers in this vault, of which you probably had to investigate next…
Allen
The biospheres came to mind. They had to be ‘sealed’ and ‘decontaminated’ if the humans were to survive. But it was likely to have those ‘mutoids’ as Allen had named them. A difficult venture to say the least. But Allen could train well..

Phil:
Just as you were getting back into the police HQ, the forces reported a myst coming from the north, contaminating the people as it spread. Then your electronic devices went haywire, and the situation became a nightmare.
Just as it arrived, you had only 45 seconds to enter the vault within the police HQ, or you would probably die, and that forced you to hold your breath to keep that.
Would you survive the emerging disaster?
Allen
Allen had heard the reports of the myst arriving, and had prepared long in advance. Now positioned in the prime vault, he was in a position to re-establish the situation, and investigate what happened with this disaster in the first place. There was a lot of questions, but rather few answers…
