This happened to me a week ago, it passed after 24 hours. It happened when I got the ‘we have detected you are attempting to hack the game…’ nonsense and refreshed.

There’s been a lot of issues with Backyard Monsters lately and my normal response when people ask me what they should do is to report a bug in the game tab. Unfortunately (and this has come to my attention when people responded with the link not working), the link simply scrolls the current page to the very top and doesn’t allow for the reporting of bugs. Is this intentional, or is something broken? I’ve tried it myself, and it doesn’t seem to work.

Hi zack9699, I’d like to point you out to this post/thread. This is basically an alliance that you’re trying to form and since that’s the case you’ll need to work on your structure for it. It helps make more people want to join and keeps people from getting annoyed at a ton of alliance threads with no real structure being posted. Check out some of the alliance threads on the first page of the forums if you want an example to go off of.

Heya. If you check out this thread/post here it explains that if you’re going to make an alliance you need to make it well structured, with things like a members list, ranks, and requirements. For some examples you should check out any of the alliance pages in the forum. (here’s an example) Feel free to work on your first post if you want to continue this as an alliance, Prop2013, otherwise let me know if you don’t want to go through the work and I’ll lock this.

Everyone else posting, I’d like to kindly remind you to read that post as well. It’s not okay to harass or spam other alliance threads, regardless of how they are posted. This isn’t directed anyone in particular. It’s a reminder. Thanks. :)

If I wanted to file a report against you, I’d click that link on your profile that says ‘report abuse’. After you click that, a drop down list of offenses are clickable, then you can explain in detail what exactly the problem is.

Are your workers all busy? If not, it sounds like a bug and you can report it from the chat pane, in the game tab under the ‘report a bug’ link. This is literally the best and almost only way that the developers will see your problem.

The champion will not die, but when it starves, it loses one level of ‘feeding’. It won’t lose any levels.

It’s entirely possible to be polite and get your point across. There’s absolutely no reason for anyone to be rude to the people who post in this thread or wish to try to petition. It’s one post in a veritable ‘sea’ of alliance threads.

If you don’t like it, ignore it. If you absolutely can’t, keep your snide and rude comments to yourself. This thread isn’t hurting anyone, and it’s not bumping any other ‘important’ threads off of the front page. It’s incredibly easy to not click this link if you don’t like it. I urge you to do so.

I’m not going to lock the thread unless it turns into an unsaveable argument or is full of spam, neither of which are likely to happen. Hopefully what you’re doing works. Linking to another site for a good reason isn’t against the rules.

I wasn’t telling you to do it anywhere else, you can do it here. Just don’t post something like ‘all in favor?’, signalling people to just post their name or whatever. This thread actually has discussion in it, which is the main function of a forum. Using it to discuss and petition is fine. Using it to petition alone is not, and as you saw before will just get people to flag your thread and argue with you in it.

And please don’t double post. You can edit your earlier post.

Feel free to ask people if you can add their name to a petition, but my suggestion is that you collect those names and contact KIXEYE with the list. Posting it here will be a lot less effective, and less likely to be seen by people that need to see it for things to happen.

Set yourself a goal for an amount of people you want to sign, and do the work of trying to get support. Putting forth an effort while having a discussion is perfectly acceptable and will likely help a lot more.

I’m sorry for locking your earlier thread and not being more clear. Petition threads aren’t really welcome even though they aren’t specifically against the rules, they easily turn into flame-fest arguments and spam threads where people just post things like ‘+1’ or their name, just to ‘sign’ the petition. You’re right that a discussion should can can be had, this thread is fine. I don’t really think calling me a fascist is correct or fair, though, considering facism is a political ideology and… well, we’re not even remotely talking about politics here. :)

Anyways, like I said this thread is fine, I agree that we should have updates from KIXEYE regularly but as said that hasn’t happen and isn’t likely going to. Feel free to discuss it, but I believe a better way to get their attention is to contact them, as they rarely read these forums unless there’s a major issue like a bug.

If you don’t like the discussion in this thread, just ignore it, and please don’t flag it. If someone is repeating their self constantly or has nothing to contribute to the discussion, those are the posts that should be flagged.
