Topic: Battle Pirates / Bug Reports

Here’s what i’ve noticed so far:
- When fleet comes back to base, and i swich from world map to base, and i’m fullscreen the game tends to jump out of fullscreen on it’s own for no reason.
- After any campaign battle fighting fleet get’s it’s hands on ENORMOUS ammounts of resources. Each resource’s ammount is the same as fleet’s total normal capacity, except zynthium which is TWICE fleet’s total capacity. This means that total ammount of resources is FIVE TIMES fleet’s theoretical total capacity
- This is not a bug but it’s iritating. When there is a chance that i will get a blueprint from draconian fleet it should be in percentage, ot in terms like “high” or “awesome” which tell nothing. I’m not sure how it should be but so far i killed 3 fleets which should give me two “very high” and one “awesome” chance for blueprint, and i’ve got none.

Topic: The Last Stand: Dead Zone / Things you've learned from DZ

Having twice as many beds as people who sleep in them is really comfortable
Broken bone heals instanly after treating with splint, if left unattended it will heal in few days
You can leave unconcious guy in a building full of zombies, and he will come back as soon as you do with only a few minor injuries
Your car can teleport forth and back from any place within 5 minute walk range, without using any fuel
Junk must be removed manually while every building builds itself
Once you build something(oops… i mean once something builds itself) you can easily move it elsewere

Topic: BloodRealm / Veil bug

When fightig few creatures with veil i noticed that while the indeed cannot be targeted directly by spells they still can be hit by spells with mass effect like Banishment, as long as i targetany other creature. The same thing goes with battle mage’s Blast ability, not sure if veil should protect against allies’ abilitiesor not.
Speaking of blast, i don’t know if it was intentional or not, but aside from atacking every enemy’s ally it creature with blast also deas double damage to enemy in front.

Topic: Dueling Blades / [To Dev] Nerf Stun Kick

Look at my nickname, and guess what class i am. I know exacly how “easy” it is to land stun kick, because i used it myself countless times. I’ve also been using double stun combo and i know that it is strong, but it requires full ep and it CAN be countered. I’ve lived with 3-4 hp a few times but it was very few.
No i haven’t forgot anything. it is YOU who forgot to check the actual cost. Swallow counter costs 8 not 7 ep, so 10-8=2 and 1 is regenerated which makes 3. to little to use broad strike.

You cannot use swallow counter and broad strike one after another, unles you didn’t move, and enemy in general thinks you WILL move. And even if u use swallow counter and enemy misses you, it fails. Of couse damage is high and it counters everything, even fury, but the cost is high as well, so u cannot do it very often.

1 hp and 3-4 hp makes almost no difference at all. What’s the difference between having 15 or 20 hp? Enemy will still kill you next time he’ll hit. Yes, assasins are faster, and have wider range that fighters, but on the other hand, fighter have longer range and more hp. And with short range of stunkick u need to be really precise if u are to land it, and if u miss and enemy uses earthquake he may still hit you.

Viewing it in comparison to the Heavy slash skill, which only deals 1.5x damage and doesn’t stun it just seems off that these two attacks should share the same EP consumption.

What u said is right BUT u have missed a few things.
1. Heavy slash is completly different type of attack, so u cant really compare it to stun kick. Heavy slash have much longer reach and is meant for long range offence while stun kick is for really close combat.
2. Tactics u suggested require full EP while using counter requires only half, so it can be used easier, and for the tactics to succed the first kick must actually hit, which is not so easy. true if this happens u’re screwed but if u allowed the sittuation when u have 4 or less EP while enemy has full then… sorry man but i’ts your fault.
3. Stun kick can also be countered by shield cover and swallow counter which are both skills of fighter-type classes, so it’s not the only way. And both counter WITHOUT draw.

And guys who say that earthquake is weaker in because of damage are for me just childish. That’s true, Stunkick has 1,6 while earthuake has 1,5. So what? What difference this actually makes? In 1 battle out of 1000 there might be difference between having to strike enemy 3 or 4 times befor beating him. That’s almost no difference. In most battles this won’t change anything. On the other hand Earthquake has more range, which can make actual difference between hitting enemy or not, and in case of being attacked this can actually decide the battle. Not to mention that the same tactic as above can be made using earthquake and enemy CANNOT counter it with stun kick beacuse of range difference. And assasin-type classes have NO counterskills.

Anyway, you’re not quite correct. True, UR eq cannot be bought directly, but special spin gives 10% chance to get it, and costs 15 diamonds.It seems not much but if u are prepared to spend, let’s say, 300 diamonds(in comparison Holy Dragon costs 260) chance of getting it is quite high. Of course that means u have to win at lest one battle but with NPCs it isn’t hard.
That’s not the point anyway, because what we are getting at is that equipment is much stronger factor than it should be. More than half of my stats right now are from equipment and i’m not even close to the strongest gear. This means that if i fight enemy with much stronger equipment i may hit him 5 times and get hit once and be dead. The point of this game is foreseeing and outsmarting your opponent, not beat him with brute force and stats. That’s why current equipment kind of kills the point.

In ters of logic it would make sense, but in case of mechanics… i’m not sure. Assassin-type classes have short but wide range, archer range, to make sense should be long but narrow. in other words the exact oposite of what assassins are now. If i were the creator, archer-type classes would be completly different class tree in addition to fighter-types and assasin-types.

If i refer to a job there is no assassin yet in the first place. The actual ninjutsu is not as unique as you may think, it’s mostly espionage and assasination skills that are used by spies all over the world, there are just many legends around it. Warriors do not always fight in the open but i’ts their JOB to fight in the open, they’re sometimes fors to work in shadows, true, but that’s not the rule, rather exception.
Back to the topic. Rogue is already pretty much assasin with different name so that wouldn’t be really any new class. And suggesting a new class just because of the final weapon for me it’s a joke. Am i supposed to suggest a “dragon” class for knight just because their final weapon is called “obsidian dragon”?

I have a few suggestions.
Primo: http://www.kongregate.com/forums/150-dueling-blades/topics/333201-get-rid-of-gear-gap That’s the most important one.
Secundo: Somebody already suggested it but i like the idea. Chat during PvP battles.
Tertio: Ability to challenge certain player in addition to random chosing.
Quatro: Team battles. Like 2on2, 3 on 3, several players free for all. I know it’s called DUELING blades, but i think that would add something more.
Quinto: Being able to chose sides in storyline. Right now all the quests are made for rebelion, it would be nice addition if we could fight for the empire. I don’t know how with the others but for me storyline IS important.
That’s it for now i MIGHT have few more.

“Warrior that work from the shadow” is contradiction in itself. Warrior is someone who fights openly, not from the shadows, Ninjas could fight in classic way, true, but they did only when forced to, it wasn’t their job. Anyway, that’s not the point. The thing is that assasin’s and ninja’s abilities would be mighty similar, since they’re both silent killers.
By the way i see many suggestion for the names of new classes, but i see no suggestion what could these classes actually DO. What whould be their abilities, what kind of weapons would they use. what would be the actuall difference between them and their motherclasses.

Topic: Dueling Blades / get rid of gear gap

I certainly agree with both of you. While the battles can be still decided by skills, the gear is much stronger factor than it should be. I remember a fight with a girl that had much better equipment, but was pretty weak as a player. I’ve been quite succesfully foreseeing her moves and stroke her about 4 times, then i made ONE mistake and was reduced from full hp to zero instantly. If it were up to me i would lessen the impact gear has on stats and increase variety of gear types that can be used to provide different effects(i.e. boosting different stats SLIGHTLY, weapons with status effects, increasing attack range or angle, extending critical zone, etc.) so that characters are more individually customizable, because right now there is almost no difference between characters of the same class.

So what? Unless u play on NG+ u can’t beat “that thing” NOT on level 1. And it doesn’t change the fact that it IS hard battle, way harder than ibby. I’ve never played on normal soo i don’t know how hord it is on nrmal but on hard it’s really hard.

U can’t get special and NOT get all others(exept classic), The condition of getting special is to get all others. BTW the achievement “social club” is to get all CHARACTER ending, wich means u don’t need to get C-end or Sp-end to get it. Still getting Sp-end is one of 3 hard thing in the game(the other 2 are achieves Chosen One and Time paradox)

1. Don’t clear your cookies or history
2. Set save data for this site in the Flash Storage Settings to “Unlimited”
3. Make sure “private browsing” is OFF
4. Make sure “block sites from setting any data” is OFF
5. Make sure “clear browser history on exit” is OFF
6. Don’t run a tool like CCleaner or Better Privacy (unless you add the proper exceptions)
Do this and save file won’t be cleared. I’ve completed everything weeks ago and i can still view everything just by beating ibby.

These are rather requirements for endings not for talking. In most cases u are correct but in case of Ginny 1 death means 1 lost talk(example: u died 3 times so u can talk to Ginny at most 5 times) u should also ad that the last talk with ginny MUST be made exacly on day 18(just before her escape) and u can’t talk to Nefi before 3rd world.

I wouldn’t call it “Ginny good ending” because i’ts EVERYONE’s ending.
SPOILER WARNING!!!
Deadeye gets her sight back, swig get’s his planet back, generally everyone has their wish granted. In fact i would call speacial ending combination of all other endings. BTW where the hell have u read that in tessa’s ending Mare and Nefi did NOT become janni? They weren’t mentioned but imo i’ts obvious the did. Jonny promised to tell them The Secret and they could easili give their powers to , let’s say, swig.

Of course it won’t be the same time period;) As i said, the main hero in sequel will most probably be deuce’s kid(s), or for example Swig’s kid(also deuce;) ) from swig’s ending if it’l become canon. I would say that sequel will take place about 20 years at least from where the story ended(no matter how). I wonder, if we’ll play as half-lucernian will he have some special abilities to use during game?

I don’t think sequel qould ruin this. Of course each ending somehow closes the story but i know some good stories that wheren’t meant to be continued but still had good sequels. Actually each of the endings(or at least most of it) gives MUCH room for sequel, for example we know that deuce becomes a father in at least some of ending(in 3(D,M,N) whe know he is, in 3(normal,S,J) we know he’s not and in other 3 it’s uncertain.) and his children could easily be heroes of another story. Universe is full of mysteries and some of them could be found out.

No it’s not possible. Even if u get all character endings u can view special ending but then u can’t view regular ending. To view Regular ending u MUST fail to get at least one of the character endings, or chosing “no wish” will result in seeing special. So if u want to view ALL endings u MUST complete game at least twice. Still i agree that it’s really hard to get special in first play:) and i seriouslky doubt somebody will look for “how to get special” guide before playing first time.
