Tear out the needle and examine the contents.
Look at the contents of the cabinets and metal doors.

27 Billion Credits after upping the cost from 2.5 to 3 credits but these people are even dumber.

The funny thing about this is that I realized that I need to more than double the rate to realistically gain money. My initial calculation was, as I said, way off.

In the Office of Nosterheim
14:04 Mars Standard Time; April 17th, 2184.

Philip: You know this would not be important if I did not call you twice in a short time.
Florintine: I know sir.
Philip: We need to get out of this rut I foolishly throw money away with. Next month, we raise the credit rate to 7.5 credits to gain money, but we need some deal to combat this necessary evil. We need a return ticket offer. 12.5 credits for a ‘there and back’ ticket.
Florintine: I’ll get to thinking of ways of marketing it right away sir.
Philip: Good.

Florintine leaves the office.

Philip [To himself]: Let’s just hope this works well. I do not want to fire the new employees or cut their new price checks… Atleast 7.5 credits are still less than jetpack prices.

Philip presses the intercom button.

Clarisse: Sir?
Philip: I need a public poll. Give me info on how willing people are to pay increased rates for dirigible travel, and what would make dirigible travel better for them.

Making a simulated company with a simulated credit history… I realized how horrible my initial calculations are.

In the Office of Nosterheim
13:20 Mars Standard Time; April 17th, 2184

Philip is hitting his head on the desk.

Philip [To himself]: How… Thump …The hell… Thump …Did I… Thump …Miscalculate so badly… Thump, Thump …That I lost 27 billion credits… Thump … Must of been double the crew and the increased wages, and the expansion… Thump. Horrible. Thump. Horrible. Thump. Horrible… I need to either lay off people, cut pays, or raise the price of transport a lot. My projections were horribly off, and now this is horrible. Thump, Thump, Thump, Thump, Thump.

I assume we start at will.

In the office of Nosterheim
10:40 Mars Standard Time; April 17th, 2184

Philip: These records for this quarter are correct, aren’t they, Liza?
Yelizaveta: Entirely sure.
Philip: And the projections for the fourth quarter?
Yelizaveta: It’s all there, sir.
Philip: Then leave me to look over these numbers.

Yelizaveta leaves the office.

Philip [To himself]: Each week we transport 40 million people, all mostly the same who take it several times per week. I still need a 1:3 crew to passanger ratio per airship, but it is driving up my costs. I need to start costing more than two and a half credits per travel.

Philip shakes his head, walks to the office window, and looks out to the Marsian landscape, which terraforming transformed into a lavish and verdant land, atleast within the biodome.

Philip [To himself]: Perhaps I should bump it up to three credits. The media will go slightly crazy about the tiny hike in price, but it will settle down eventually, just like the previous hike did. I am in need of the extra income to fund the Luna expansion of the company.

Walking around the room, Philip returns to his desk and presses one of his many button. Crackling can be heard from the intercom on his desk.

Clarisse: You rang sir?
Philip: Yes, get me Florintine, and tell him I need his media expertise.
Clarisse: Right away sir.

The line of the intercom goes dead.

Philip [To himself]: Good, because the media is going to be on my ass all the way to bank.

In response to your “saying and doing are two different things”, I am unsigning. I prefer not to be pushed to make a character (or, in this case, submarine), even if I said I would join.

HEEEEHNN.
I wanted to be the only pilot.
You can be my Co-pilot, K?

I am more for local profiting than interplanetary travel. I am staying on Mars, but if you seek me out I might join.

Name: Phillip Nosterheim
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Planet of Birth: Europa
Class: Pilot
Starting Planet: Mars
Short Bio: Born on Europa, his family moved to the Mars shortly after his birth, for the higher education possibilities that Mars offered. After graduating from the University of Glennmore for pilotage and aerodynamics, he opened his own innovative company, Noster’s Dirigibles, which is a luxury and non-luxury dirigible company for transport around Mar’s only city, and the desolate space outside for exploration and research reasons.
Due to the lack of cars and other automotive means of travel because of the traffic congestion it caused, the main transport for people are low-altitude jet-packs now.
The dirigibles changed that, bringing old finesse into post-modern society, with copious amounts of room, cheap prices compared to jet-pack travel, and luxury options, it is now one of the most successful modes of mass transit around Mars for cross-city travel.
Extra Info: 6’1", pale white skin, white hair due to a disease first described by an Dutch man Europian named Petrus.

I usually find it annoying when hosts play their own games, but I can try and let it slide again.

I not will make a submarine.

Seem* Anyways, done. Better? Or need to be more similar? (They are all side-swung pole-arms or side-arms right now, except the Picot, which can be used as one.)

Bio to come.

Name: Philip Nosterheim

Age: 27

Gender: Male

Main Weapons:
1: A Friction Locked Straight-configuration Police Enforcement Asp
2: A 5 Shuka-long Truncheon, AKA A shaft of a broken five-foot spear used as an improvised weapon.
3: A Plançon a picot
4: A Lucerne hammer
5: A Kanabō

Class: Psychologist. Due to his unnurtured childhood, he had to find ways to convince people better, and what better way then fear and pain? Because of this, he has better chances to cripple and “convince” enemies to join his side.

Appearance: Being an inch over six feet, his tall yet slim structure gives him an air of power around him. He has white hair, due to being diagnosed with a disease that a dutch guy named Petrus first described. His Caucasian descent shows radiantly off his extremely pale skin.
On his head he wears a black top hat with a purple band of cloth in the mid-section. On his chest he wears a white dress shirt under a black tailed tuxedo coat, along with a purple cummerbund and a purple bow tie. On his legs he wears black tuxedo pants, and black dress shoes on his feet.

Bio: Edit: To come.

Anyone care for an alliance?
75 KP and a free word. An excellent investment.

Hrmm, I am confused. Might get Literacy with the expansion.

48 KP to expand twice.
7 KP to War.
10 KP to Physics.
10 KP to Aerodynamics.
10 KP to Viator + Aerodynamics.
5 KP to Viator + Aerodynamics + War.
Let’s see where this gets me.

War, and how much KP does that mean I have? With the diplomacy and round things, etc.

“Convincing is… Not my forte. "
Looks down at shoes, gets an idea. Looks up
" We are like shoes. We need to stick together. Two shoes make easier walker then one shoes on one leg. If we where to join forces our places could be stronger together than separate. We are lime shoes, shoes come in pairs, and pears eventually end up rotting, but in the wroughting process, iron is made stronger. In this sense, this bond will make us strong. We both need this, and this is an excellent opportunity."

Gun. Enemy. You can figure out what to do.
And protect the player’s body with the other body.

I shall deploy 2 Diplomats and 1 Emissary. All in the northeast corner of the map, in the Embassy.

Edit: And how do alliances work? Do I just shake hands and say Alliance or do I have to send someone over?

My map. It’s plain, but on a time crunch it has to do.

Red are doors. Green is… Plain grass.

Look at the guards, and look for their weapons and for weak points in their armor, if wearing any.
After taking that in stock, proceed to the wizard.
