how do you collect things it says gain through collecting but i dontknow how and what do you do with things like bird meat that have no synthesie or recipe

when you cram bugs in a bunker (cheese grater) and let them out when your neighbours visit when you spear bugs and put them on sticks in your front yard to scare your atackers away when you fill your silo (fridge) with twigs pebbles putty and goo (crushed bugs)
