Unless something drastically changed since I was last here (which, admittedly, was a long long time ago) you can’t just buy 50 mil gold off the bat with tokens.

What most likely happened is he stole from someone, possibly an old player who amassed a lot of coins and fired his/her thug before quitting.

As an example, if someone stole from me now (s)he would net an instant 1+ billion.

Queueing is something that has been suggested about 1728656214862746271647921 times and petitions have been made for it; considering Edgebee never even graced us with a response like “We’ll think about it” pretty much says it’s never going to happen.

@SadCookieCat The improvements system I imagine was put into place to initiate guild-making and initial reliance on guilds. Before challenges and LP bonuses were introduced guilds offered nothing except a community where you could get points round the clock.

@caligirl51 Several petitions were made for mass crafting, but none of them have been successful so far.

Topic: Swords & Potions / Thug's skill!

You may have noticed that the thug doesn’t actually have a specific defending ability, but speculations have been made that violence contributes to a thug’s defensive abilities.

In the case of the Ruthless and Protector skills, Ruthless actually does contribute to thug defense (it simply adds on to your thug’s stats, further confirming[?] the speculation that violence is related to defensive ability). This used to be extremely necessary before the 5x Protector effectiveness was added in a recent update.

Topic: Swords & Potions / Ask a Question! Get an Answer!

The stars are an indication of the difficulty level for thugging said player (influenced by thug stats, guild bonus, thug in/out), however I have not seen any correlation to success rate. Insignificant if any.

Topic: Swords & Potions / petition for adding time penalty before joining guild

+1 to Shadow for calling out alts ;)

Also instead of just posting on the Edgebee forum, I suggest you get everyone to email Edgebee about the same topic, that way it’s harder to ignore.

I agree that sifting out inactive guilds should take first priority.

Guild jumping/cycling was first addressed last November by JustinB44 (and subsequently by numerous other players), and Edgebee has seen (AND REPLIED) to many of these complains, but considering they have yet to do anything my guess is they won’t be bothering anytime soon. Which of course is a bit of a bummer.

Topic: Swords & Potions / adventuring skill

Even if you put all your points in adv you’ll still get the occasional customer, so it won’t be 100% questers, but yes, you can make a decent living off just questers. It’s also a strategy some players use to get really fast levels.

Topic: Swords & Potions / The country pays ... best?

With every district up your skills will ALWAYS lose a certain % of effectiveness. Which makes sense since you’ll be leveling up and adding more skill points. If the skills didn’t cap this would make no sense, but since the skills do cap this system sort of keeps you from hitting it too fast.

You’re right, it won’t. Because I doubt Edgebee has people constantly perusing Kong for suggestions. If you want to take an issue up with them I suggest emailing them directly.

I don’t know what you’re complaining about.

no one wants to wait for 10 minutes each day

I have no problem with the day recharge. If anything, it actually makes the playing ground more fair since not all the players are unemployed / high schoolers / people whose bosses have no problems with their employees playing games at work.

Just be glad wait times aren’t an hour per day like they used to be.

+5 token each time you level up. (If new added people who didnt get the tokens should get it)

Considering the daily gift was only implemented late last year (before which there was no way of getting tokens ingame), and even more recently updated to include 100 tokens – I think this is a pretty big improvement in terms of token-getting already. If I were the dev I might consider +1 token per level, but +5 makes things way too easy.

+1% to kill success rate per level? I should be way over 2000%.

Drastic thug actions, IF at all implemented, need to be restricted to people within a certain level range. Otherwise this makes what is an already skewed game even more skewed.

Also, Edgebee can be helpful, if you know how to badger them (tip: EMAIL). Posting on Kong isn’t going to do much.

Topic: Swords & Potions / Max days

The base cap for all players used to be 7 days, it got changed to 5 sometime last year in November/December. So anyone who started playing after that change has a cap of 5 days. The players with a 7 day cap still keep the old cap.

Topic: Swords & Potions / medals

very late reply, but for the benefit of anyone else who wants to know, the medals are for tokens SPENT (not bought) in the game. whether or not the tokens were bought with cash or obtained by other means (survey/daily gift) doesn’t matter.

Topic: Swords & Potions / Hagle

Haggling has been disabled in the first district (countryside), you need to move to the next district to be able to haggle.
