The main flaw in your strategy in my opinion is that if you are making such a point in keeping your own pieces alive, you probably won’t take the other’s piece in a beneficial way (unless the other person is really bad). So what the opponent will do is just set up his pieces in a way so eventually you’ll be put into a position where you will come out in trades badly. I used to play that way.

I see that there is too much undead in the city, everyone who has a chance of getting out of the city is already out so there isn’t a point in staying here and dying. I am about to run before I see two kids, a boy and a girl, both of them around the age of twelve, behind a house hugging each other, two skeletons are approaching them. The boy picked up a rock and stood in front of the girl. The first skeleton raised it’s sword to strike but my fireball got to it first. The second skeleton faced me just to see my ice shard impale it’s head, I run to the two kids and talk to them, “You two brother and sister?” I ask looking around, some more undead are on their way. The nod. “Where’s your mother and father?” I ask motioning them to start backing away from the horde; the boy is the first to speak.

“Our parents went to the Capital” He said, “They are suppose to start come back in a couple days, their friend took care of us, but I think he already is gone…” I looked at the horde, then back at the kids.

“Okay, come on, we can’t stay here.” I say building up a gust of wind, “I’ll get you to your parents, okay?” The gust of wind pushes us out of the city without any undead attacking us. I look at what I think is the road that leads us north and start walking. “So… what are your names?” I ask after the city is behind us.

“My name is North, my sister name is South; our parents had a sense of humor when naming twins.” South was always behind North, “She doesn’t talk much.”

I looked at the girl, while the same age, it seems like North has taken up the big brother role. “Hey, don’t worry, I’ll get you to your parents, everything is going to be alright.” Except everything you loved was probably destroyed back in the fight, most of your friends are probably dead, and you are wandering around with a weird guy who can’t tell which direction he’s going. Wait, I was in Vallea, oh god this is going to be a long trip,

[Real quick question, when we talk about elemental magic, what elements are we talking about? Is it just fire, earth, water, air, lightning, ect.? Or are we also including wood and metal? Also, are including light and dark as elemental?]

I am in the Magi Tower, casting truly beautiful magic, combinations of magic spreading around me, painting destructive art around me; the only thing more beautiful I could think of would be-

I suddenly wake up with a shake, I hear a faint screech just before I fall of the tree I was sleeping in. As I get up my earplugs fall out of my ears and my vision blurs. There is so much screaming and through my blurred vision I can see some humanoid figures running at me. I calmly rub my eyes and put on my glasses that fell on the floor, as I pick it up, I see something in the reflection of the glasses. It takes me a second after putting my glasses on to roll to the right, barely dodging a battle-axe that I would presume was meant to kill me. “I hate undead!” I shout as I feel fire surround my fist; I blow freezing breath out at the corpse, as it freezes I throw the fireball at it. “Ouch, iceburn.” I say as I take note of my surroundings. Well undead are attacking so that’s not good, undead means necromancers, which is also not good. I face a couple of undead in my way and two spells appears in my hands, lightning in my left, fire in my right, I combined the spells and shot at the closest one, on hit the spell stunned and arced towards the other, at the same time burning the undead. They try advancing towards me after the spell’s stun faded out of effect but after a couple steps, the fire would kill them off. Okay I can probably leave right now, I just need to face the direction where people are not dying and start running. If I go now, I bet I can come out of this without a scratch. I hear an explosion off in the distance and look at the direction I heard the boom from. “Screw it.” I say under my breath as I summon a gust of wind to help me get to the unfortunate location faster.

Well thanks Minnakht. Also how he ended up trying to jab the two Ear pieces into the other’s eyes and ended up breaking his glasses. The glass cut the other guy’s eyes and while he was in pain, Dawn got a rock and crushed the guy’s skull in at the 20thish swing.

The body has many weapons that act as a first defense against a foreign invaders. I will name some of them. Two of our first defenses have dry surfaces; they are the skin and ears. Bacteria can not live on dry surfaces which make the skin and ears good defenses. Another weapon the body has is the effect of a low pH, a low pH makes the body part acidic, which kills the bacteria. Being salty is another attribute that is a good weapon against foreign invaders because it creates a hypotonic environment for the foreign invader which kills it. The last weapon your first defenses use that I will talk about is a physical barriers. Physical barriers are a good weapon because it keeps foreign invaders out simply because the foreign invaders can not pass through physical barriers.

If a foreign invader gets pass the first line of defense; the second line of defense takes the spotlight. Cells will release chemical signals so the body will respond to this.

Also responding to the post above me, if it was the way I define a hater, a person who is just an all-round jerk and hates for practically no reason, I would say I agree to the latter, I believe while that people shouldn’t be mean to eachother and that all people should be kind to on another, I also believe the people who are mean sacrifice their right to have people not be mean to them. For example, it’s okay to murder the murderer, to steal from the thief, and to lie to the lier. Of course this doesn’t mean that it’s the best way to deal with things and you should try to find the most positive solution.

Also, can someone put me up to speed on how this conversation above me got started? I thought most of FGF were buddies, or at least on good terms, the fuck happened?

“Let’s go.” I say charging Miss Rapier over here. I raise my saber to strike and strike, but she dashes to the right, I keep on swinging but she is always an inch away from my sword, “Stop. Fuckin’. Dodging!” I shout attacking without pause, on my 9th swing I lose my balance and she takes her turn. She thrusts the rapier at me but pauses for a second and I barely shift my stomach away from the pointy end of her weapon. We back away from each other before clashing swords, power struggle time! It seems like my strength is overpowering hers however our swords start glowing, my saber getting surrounded by a blue aura, her rapier red. A confused me gets a high kick to the face. I get up and look at my weapon, then hers, then mines, then hers, did we switch weapons?

She looks at her saber and changed it into a rapier, “You don’t even know the strength of your weapon, I would make a much more better owner of such an amazing thing.” I blink and there are now two of her, and now three. In a blink of an eye there are three of me too. My two clones charge while I stay back, something ain’t right here. I ready my lightning spell and aim my fingertips at the three guessing which one is the real one right before my spell goes off, a ripple the air catches my eyes and something forces my hand to point upwards, shooting the lightning at the branches above me. Suddenly Miss Rapier is in front of me, with a rapier heading straight into my stomach, this would be the end of me if it wasn’t for my armor. Shards surrounds my right fist and I punch her in the face, making her stagger backwards. An aura surrounds her and dashes to the left, then the right, then the left, she suddenly speeds up next to me and summons a magical spear, a length of shard empowered by a firebolt pops into my hand to match. I grab her hand that’s holding her spear at the same time, she grab my left hand which is holding my shard. We struggle to overpower each other until the shard in my hand explodes near both of our faces, careless little me kept on putting more and more fire magic into the shard the more I tried to overpower Miss Rapier.

The resulting explosion put me on the ground, my vision is all messed up and there is an ringing noise in my ears. My memory is all messed up as well. I see a lady on the ground next to me, a helmet seems to be retracting from her head, revealing blonde hair, I get a good look at her and she seems to look familiar.

“Hey, you okay?” I ask her as I shake her shoulder. A sword is next to her, it’s really thin, way more thinner than any sword should be, that sword is stupid, I don’t know why I dislike it so much, but I hate it. Stupid thin sword that glows red, the rapier next to it that is blue is awesome though! I’m taking it with me, yoink! The girl isn’t waking up though, “Hey, need help?” I ask trying to pick her up but failing, I bet that armor is weighing her down.

“Vinyl!” I hear a faint voice behind me. I drop the girl and look behind myself, a gray werewolf is running towards me, she picks me up and turns into a human. “We have to get out of here, NOW!” she’s holding a little girl with her, that’s sweet.

A magus jumped out of the treeline, “Hold up Victoria, I’m comin’!” He shouted. The wings behind him turned metal and steel talon sprang out at us. The lady turned into werewolf form and took the talons in the back.

“Posion.” The werewolf lady said handing off the girl to me. "Not letting me use my abilities. “Get Lavender out of here.” I start remembering and start running.

Okay, checklist. The girl I was fighting is down. I am holding Lavender. Pale Fang is dying. I am injured. There is a bad guy coming to finish us off. And I am running for my life. Shit.

I heard a werewolf roar in pain behind me and I didn’t look back.
[So yeah, Pale Fang fought David, it seemed like Pale Fang relied on either hitting without getting hit herself to use “Feral Rage” or get down on health to activate “Ancient Lycanthropy”. David’s “Poisonous Steel Talons” takes out Ancient Lycanthrophy’s effect, dulled her “Heightened Senses”, removed the effect of “Unnatural regeneration” temporary, and brought her “Enhanced speed and strength” back down. A couple round of poison later Pale Fang didn’t really have a fighting chance, the fact she had to protect Lavender as well only made the odds of surviving for her lower. And David still had 4 other spells (having magical wings was the first ability he had) to use.]

Human Apperance: A bit tall and a bit on the skinny side. She is pale, really pale. Brown eyes so brown, the iris is nearly black. She usually wears armor, on and off duty, taking it off only when she needs to, like taking a shower. Yes she sleeps with the uncomfortable thing on. (Details of the armor will be covered later).

True Apperance: Ew, who’d wanna be one of those monsters? Gladly N/A

Personality: Victoria is very serious. She doesn’t joke around and is always doing something productive trying not to waste a minute of the day dillydallying. She has great book smarts and common sense when it comes to most things, something her brother lacked. She can’t stand weaklings because one, she believes the weak is useless, and two, that means she’ll have to take care of them.

Skills:
Fighting: In both her way of fighting physically and with magic, she is fast fighter, hitting fast, accurate, and most importantly hard. Her fighting styles cursu et viribus and ieiunium mors , speed and strength and fast death respectively if she got her Italian right.

Cursu et viribus: Cursu et viribus is a technique she has created herself that is used with her personal sword. The technique focuses on hitting the opponent hard and fast. Using her light sword and excellent speed to dance around the opponent’s defences, and striking with lightning speed.

Ieiunium mors: Ieiunium mors is also a technique she created herself. This technique is used with her magic, it is about disorienting the opponent and hitting his/her weak points. Using her magic not only to harm but to daze.

Creature identification: Victoria has read. A lot. In theory she can name most creatures be them pure bloods or hybrids as well as try and come up with a strategy to defeat it. Of course this isn’t factoring outside variables such as fear.

Spells:
_Advanced: _

Magical Spears: Victoria can summon magical spears. Said spears are made by pure magic and are blue. They are usually use as a ranged weapon and will do one of two things, hit whatever is in front of them and probably pierce straight through whatever is in front of them. Or explode in a million colors, I’m not kidding when I say a million, like you can get a seizure by looking into the explosion it’s so powerful. Little threads magic connects the spear to Victoria (usually her fingers but can be anywhere on her body), the spears do not have to be connected to Victoria but while they are, Victoria can move the Spears as well as put more power(magic) into it to give it more piercing power/explosion, or take away magic from it to regain the magic. Also while the spears her extremely powerful on their own, they also have magic destroying abilities, similar to Vinyl’s blue firebolts, however as a trade off to these magic destroying abilities, the spears are less powerful than that would be for a magi of her skills.

Clone: Victoria can clone a copy of herself, the clone is a solid simulacrum that can act independently and can use Victoria’s magic, being somewhat weaker. The clone can also copy others’s appearances. Said copies can not use the powers of the other person.

Super Speed: Victoria can run at lightning speeds. While using super speed, an aura of thin magic surrounds her, this aura makes sure she doesn’t get hurt when she reaches speeds that should kill her. Her speed can reach to the point where she’ll break the sound barrier, well in theory. In practice, the aura would have to be stronger so she doesn’t well… you know, die. She would have to accelerate up to that speed, probably going in a straight line, and if she was to hit anything just before, or after breaking the sound barrier, chances are there will be no more Victoria.

Basic
Camouflage: Victoria turn invisible or camouflage herself into another’s appearance, when she does either, the transition to invisibility/other’s appearance is fluid and unless you see her camouflage herself, chances are, you won’t see through the disguise, unless you see through the disguise magically, then it turns into a, who is more magically powerful competition to see if you get to see through her disguise. While under the disguise, Victoria can mimic the target’s voice.

Life Steal (I seriously need a better name for this one): Victoria can use her magic to take the life force/magic power from other living things, said life/magic force can be used in different ways, she can use it to heal herself or others, buff her own, or others existing spells/abilities. The amount of strength she gets is proportionate to the organism that she took it from, a patch of flowers would give a lot less than a bear or huge ass tree. She can use this on most organisms with ease, however sentient organisms can resist the effect, to the point Victoria has to use much more magic than she is getting back, of course, said organism will have to know what is happening to resist it. The spell takes the form of a magic stream sort of thing. A stream of magic would come out of Victoria (usually out of her fingertips) and go to it’s target, once it makes contact, it starts draining the energy.

Possessions:
Victoria’s weapon: Victoria owns a sword that is constantly surrounded by a red aura that can be strengthened by the user. The sword it’s self looks like a rapier, the blade being 50 inches long ending with a sharp tip if she needs to slash something. The red aura has three characteristics: One, it makes it so the rapier doesn’t dull, or at least slows it down from dulling. Two, it make the sword stronger, giving it more piercing power. Three, the user can strengthen the aura so it can remake the sword. That’s right, one second, the sword can be the rapier, the next, a long sword, the next, a scimitar, and can even become a spear.

Victoria’s Armor: Victoria walks around in a chestplate. Said chestplate is made out of steel, the chestplate, like Victoria’s sword, is surrounded by a small aura. This aura can be strengthen by Victoria’s own magic to block more force. The chestplate is also shock absorbent. Like the sword, Victoria can put more magic into the chestplate to gain the other pieces of the suit of armor on the fly, she doesn’t like the headgear but would rather wear it than get her head chopped off.

Hanker Chief and Pocket watch: Victoria carries a hanker chief and pocket watch with her at all times, even when going into battle, she doesn’t believe in luck but if she did, these would be her good luck charms.

Faction: Magus Mechancile

Bio: Victoria had a simple life, until at age nine her family was attacked by beasts, she never saw what kind because her father, even while ill hid her, and her sisters in hiding places. She was able to look through her hiding place to see the shadows of her mother and father moving frantically, fighting the shadows of big as hell beasts. She could see all kinds of magic fling about everywhere, she would hear one beast die, then another, and another, but alas, the mother and father were outnumbered, a dozen-to-one, with one not having any true skill to fight, and the other ill. She hid as she heard her sisters yelled as they were slaughtered, she thought she was dead until she heard footsteps, beasts don’t make footsteps. Spells were thrown about and orders were yelled across the room, after the fighting died down, she was found by a soldier, a soldier of the Magus Mechancile. Ever since, Victoria trained with the Magus Mechancile, becoming a strong believer in the religion. While she practically sacrificed social interaction outside of her mentors and teachers, she has risen the ranks of the Magus Mechanicile, a prodigy in magic and a champion in the art or weaponry; she has became a elite enforcer, specializing in scout/recon. Her dream is to someday become one of the strongest magi in the world barring Justinian XXI, as well as maybe find her lost brother, who was out hunting when the beasts attacked.
