Magic Quicken Mind is a trap
Doing more damage is better so QM isn’t really that useful. QM is especially bad on raids like Cara.

New Kongregate Version: Backend changes
The update screwed everything up. All game screens are incredibly cluttered because comment sections and adds all pop up in the background then it creates a small game window. Badges were also much better on the actual game page and not doing it through the achievement tab that nobody used unless they got a badge.

I find it funny that you still don’t know why you were kicked.

Grune: 10 drops, 4 × 2 SP each
Bella: 9 drops, 1 × 2 SP + 1 × 5 SP
The odds of getting a 2SP Orange from Grune is unlikely to be 4/10. The odds of getting a 5SP Orange from Bella could be 1% or 80%. Nothing else you said matters without a reasonable estimate of the odds of getting each Orange item after all the unique items are removed.
“you should say up front that you’re not guiding people to make characters that are particularly good at anything.”
My guide is designed for long-term playing. That’s why it focuses on gaining AP = hitting NM raids for 1/2 FS.
For short-term playing such as getting the Badges, should focus on gaining SP = tagging or barely hitting Normal raids. Forget about Energy because it doesn’t help towards the Badges and won’t produce results before the Badges are gained.
Yes, I should mention that. Thanks
You should seriously just stop. You obviously don’t know anything about this game.

A good way to improve the RC would be to get rid of it.

Failed raid crediting

Posting in chat submits it to the raid-catcher, unless the listener is down (which has been very rarely, recently). The only time someone else gets credit for publicly posted raids is when there’s a new bot account we don’t know about with a short repost timer.
“Your RC should demand that the raid be fresh and hit by only the person who submitted it.”
“Policing the raids a person summons … seems oppressive and frankly, creepy.”
Gee, not a contradiction in terms at all.
" I think of how your RC came about and it makes me sick… how long did you collect, hit and hoard all raids with your friends???"
“after a group of people figured out how they can exploit the raids being summoned in every room and using it for their own benefit… finally got “called out”, so then “they” decided to make it a “community” project so they wouldn’t receive a perma-ban”
People keep spreading this horseshit, but it’s never been true. I guess lying about us makes people feel better about themselves, though.
“Point being that you see a small collective group of people that have achieved seemingly impossible AP awards… how mighty OZ, how?”
Neither pat or I have any seemingly impossible achievements, so I don’t know who in particular you’re talking about.
You call it “horseshit” even though you know how true it is. When Wpatter had his pastebin Every SINGLE good SP/AP raid were full of anon members even if it was “freshly” updated. The two members the most obvious in it were xjsman and Furak. This isn’t some conspiracy or some bullshit people made up. This is pure fact and nothing else. You can both keep up the charade because people believe anything you both and xjsman tell them.

Beginner Guide for Dawn of the Dragons
“I hope that if someone discovers my guide before the others, they will not regret it as much as the many players (including me) who started with other guides.”
Many more people should have and will regret following your guide. “Someone would only hit Normal Bella when they have no more Raids Achievements to gain.” This shows you should just shut up now and that you know absolutely nothing about this game.
I forgot to mention this. “. If you are paying, you can buy SP and everything you want.” This is absolutely ridiculous. You cannot buy SP in this game.

Who's the best non spending player in DotD?

K, let’s define a non-spender like this: A non-spender is someone who never purchased planet coins with Kong-kreds.
You can get Kong-kreds by spending time doing surveys and stuff, but that’s just the same as having a job at minimum wage and spending…( time is money, remember?)
There’s no real check on who’s gonna be honest on this thread ( for instance: I can claim I just got lucky and got 20 times the 1000PC drops in a row..never spend a dime!… honestly..)
Still want to know how far a non-spender could get on this though…
RG
People who use surveys don’t count at all. That’s not actually spending money on the game.

Failed raid crediting

There was a time when you actually collected raids to share with everybody, and didn’t punish anyone. It was because of this that it had received its popularity. DO NOT confuse that with that they agree with the pool aspect of it, they have just grown dependent in the past on it and now you’re simply abusing it, shaping it to how you and your peers want it.
You keep saying the community wants this and that, but MAD is part of the community too, and we’re not happy.
The “community” to him only means Anon and Room 1 people.

MWL, I appreciate your input, but your argument boils down to saying that it is too popular, and that because more people prefer this option to farm groups, we’re the bad guys. We’re not “squeezing” people for anything.
You make a choice to either participate in our system, or you can just as easily choose not to. Accommodating our system to farm group schedules has never been our intention.
I know you think this is rhetoric, but there’s the facts, plain and simple. Just because you prefer the good ol’ days when our system combined with farm groups ballooned a small segment’s growth potential over the rest of the game’s population, doesn’t mean that everyone does.
Playing on Facebook is always an option if that sounds like it fits your play style better. Others feel differently, and can make their own choice as well. If we turned off the raid catcher today, we would not have the same community as Facebook in 10 months, or even 10 years. I’m sure you know this.
I’m not sure it matters what we call it btw :P
I love how you never admit you are wrong.

Beginner Guide for Dawn of the Dragons
Kyddin’s Nexus, From best to worst, use these Magics: Haste, Quicken Mind, Awful. There are plenty of magics better than QM especially in raids that need high damage.
Magics to avoid: Burning Rain, Lyria’s Swiftness, Terracles’ Blessing. Dragons get CK+BB, Haste+QM, GID; even a Colossal Dragon does not have room for TB+LS. Horrible. BB can be great in lower raids such as an NM Kerb. Putting LS and TB as magics to avoid is just hilarious and plain bad advice.
Your Raids
Only create raids on Nightmare. Awful Advice. Yeah. I can see you get farmed a lot in PvP.

I play Dawn of the Dragons and most links are broken but the ones that aren’t display super long. Was Kong’s API updated today to cause this problem? I can get somebody to post a screenshot since I can’t do it right now.

Update it again.
It isn’t the script. Something is wrong with Kong’s API. I can’t use the script and most links show up as broken while others show up super long.

Then I’m completely justified saying that every person who downloads something would have bought the product. So if there are 10 million downloads, that’s 10 million lost sales.
If you want to be stupid about it, then sure go ahead and say it. You would be flat out wrong though.

I’m definitely interested in it after reading some of it on that Google link. A Dawn of the Dragons book would be nice but I think it would only be worth it if extra stuff is included including each listed Easter egg and stuff like that.

There really is no reason to be against the bot other than selfishness. People just want the raids for themselves and don’t like that they are dying a bit faster.

I mean, it’s not what you said originally, but at least now we know. there’s also no one here who actually argued that out of 10 million people who pirate material all of them would have bought it. The point was that enough might have bought it to consider piracy a loss of potential income for the creator.
Where is the link to the study, btw? Because it really sounds as if you are still estimating.
That’s how the RIAA thinks. Better to assume everything is a loss sale I guess just to make themselves look like they are actually getting hurt.

In a real world application, yes, it’s unlikely that you’re going to get only one answer from everyone you pick, but there is the potential that you could, which is his point.
EDIT: Also, from the way you’re wording your claims, you are saying that everyone you pick wouldn’t have bought the product legally.
I never said they would have bought the product either. It would be impossible to tell. I doubt it would even be even.
