General consensus as I understand is, assuming you are willing to pay to get access to the higher packs, you should be buying lowest tier that you don’t have maxed. So oak till all commons maxed, then silver till uncommons maxed, then gold forever from, then on.

Bounty is pretty much your win condition…but for this deck to work well, place a few money making units (Banker/Wealthy Patron/Marshall)—enough to make 5-8G per turn—behind defensive permanents (Rampart, Palisade) and then continue to buy cards WITHOUT SPENDING ANY COINS!!! This allows you to max out your banker’s ability and creates an infinite loop between money making spells (Tithe, Fief…etc.) and bounty, as well as play all defensive structures and units lost. Synod helps you draw bounty and fill your hand with coins. Either you will win by using the infinite loop or by dropping bounty with an insane amount of gold.

Only one win condition tends to be bad, this deck out and out can’t win if the enemy misinfos the one bounty you have. And with the obsessive focus on gold you have, you’d probably be better with this as a sofo deck, actually (since the deck should have no issues building the gold to buy it’s more expensive card, Sofocatros board control and built in win con would likely be more useful). Plus I’d replace tithe with benediction. Same gold generation at worst, much better more than likely with that ally set (unless you replace pochi with sofo, in which case the gold gen would be slightly worse, but you’d get piles of skulls to throw, especially with some marshals out).

The devs have confirmed that the endazu are in the midst of an unprecedented succession war dealie. The previous king, Odashir, was some kinda immortal, so he didn’t need an heir. Then he mysteriously vanished. The Endazu heroes are apparently/presumably the dudes fighting it out for the throne.

Like literally every skill on the tree has a trait of “can’t be used in melee”, or rather, “This card may not be used on characters adjacent to you.” At a guess, that’d be why.

Topic: War of Omens / All in game Heroes (including Campaign and Tournament)

An inaccuracy with this guide I noticed while trying to get 4 stars on various missions. The Pietra Siani with “Each Turn: Draw Ally” is not, as this guides framing suggests, like Esra, but rather is essentially Rat Catcher: the Hero. She draws those allies at the start of the turn (in addition to whatever her end of turn draw gave her) and if she has Marshals she draws even more extra allies, whereas Esra is merely guaranteed that at lest one of her draws each turn is an ally.

Great guide overall, just hoping to make it even better by pointing out this detail.

I really feel the Raven needs a buff. It’s the same tier as the Zeus. Zeus has 5 more hp, 1 more of both suppress and armor, and strike all 3 thrown in. Raven has… 4 more attack. which is mitigated by the Zeus strike all, as the only advantage it gets in turn. I’m specifically talking fully upgraded in both cases, but I’m pretty sure the principle applies at lower upgrade tiers too.

The event is over, and I have more than 4000 event points stockrd, because I had yet to decide wether to get gorrus or not. On the last day of the event, my computer broke, quite completely and unexpectedly. I write this now from a devic that is essentially unable to run tyrant, not even able to get to the point of spending the event points. Though I kind of expect to be dissapointed, I now desperately ask that the devs convert my 4000 event points into four grimclaw, seeing as how I am not going to be able to repair or replace my computet until well after the event point spending window closes. Please devs, give me the cards I have earned but am tragically unable to grab as is. PS: I apologize for any typos I missed, this device is hard to type on.

Well, if it’s like the flash Tyrant, then it technically will affect counter but fades before that can come up. Hard to say though, since they changed, for example, the timing on poison damage (In the flash Tyrant, it happens at turns start instead of end, before anything else can happen.).

I disagree about summon: the problem is the power scaling on it, especially on play, on death, and on attacked variants. In other words, if Warpway Fortress summoned something really crappy (Enclave Remnants, maybe?) it would still be useful but not the game changer super general card it is (Compared to cards of its time at least, less sure bout nowadays, not in a faction and don’t do tourneys, so yeah.). In general, cards with summon tend to have only a minor hit (if any: see hornet drones* versus that xeno, torment surgeon I think, whos sole advantages are… being xeno instead of imperial, and not flying? yay?) to other abilities compared to their peers, in exchange for (ussually) summoning something that well more than makes up said hit in strength.

I don’t remember this. All cards I can think of follow the set-rule, and thus there will never be 50 WB promo upgrades, so there’s no need to worry.

It’s Ozeous. Still only takes one + 20k to upgrade. Meanwhile, Solar Powerhouse and Realm Traverser still need 2 copies and 20k again on top of that…

Yep, that’s the one. And that’s not getting into unique mission/achievement rewards, which are reward set but are all like Ozeous. So it is not, system level, set based. Convention, yes, but conventions can be broken.

This is a set restriction, not a per-card restriction: Promo cards are 1 to upgrade.

While they are ‘Reward’ they will be free to upgrade, maybe 20k?, and require 2. When they get moved to ‘Promo’ they will be 1 to upgrade.

Thats a bit of an assumption: Remember that unique xeno who’s name escapes me? Faction reward, one copy only to upgrade. The devs said it was a mistake, but left it that way, meaning that they may well leave this that way (in this case, two per, even though promo). And I allready addressed that it is either a screw you to those whom upgraded immediately, or it’s two promos per. Addmittedly, that’s assuming they don’t do something like never transfer these to promos, which seems potentially scarily plausable.

Flux Track is from way back in Xeno Domination. Generally consensus at the time was it was basically useless, that hasn’t changed since, and this upgrade may well STILL not change that. See also, it was 250 points back then… Even if I assume thats pre upgraded, HELLO price spike.

Devs have been asking how to make the game more accessible to new players. Pro-tip: Don’t make 1 off items that are basically the best cards at what they do.

Best, and often only. Gorrus, the source is the closest yet card to player available split: a card that makes more of itself, which in turn make more, and so on. That is, a card that is an infinite chain of summoners summoning summoners. The closest after it? STOVL carrier, if I am not mistaken.

Goliath 6 is incredibly important. It’s not that Goliath is a better card than Stag Beetle, it’s not. It’s that Goliath is slow and your major source of healing for your best cards, and it’s not nearly as survivable without the upgrade.

It’s will hopefully be enough information for you to figure out what you want to do. I would still aim for maxing Goliath and Stag Beetle, because I’d rather have the smaller deck and the better chance of getting the right combo of cards out first. I think the smaller the deck is, the more good play increases your chances over pure simming odds.

But there are a number of viable options, and with counter added back to Stag Beetle, the numbers are higher so it no longer seems as necessary to max both. (The counter makes a huge difference. Without it, the splits for the Gol 6/Stag 6/Yurich case are about 3%/30%/18%.)

Thanks for all the help. Goliath and stag focus seems smartest. As far as your sim not factoring enhance, for cases like this where there is only one card to enhance (or the commander has the “all” edition, alternately), have you considered just manually raising the cards respective skill? In all the example decks for my situation, Stag beetle with Yurich is essentially counter 4 (or 3, for the level four case), because Yurich will always enhance it.
