(none of the alerts fired). BS. The forum is your alert. Kong chat is your alert. These alerts were going off for hours. Put your company’s email or IM on your profile page and WE will be your alerts when anything happens.

Flashing hero icon when a hero gains a level. Some times a hero that is reinforcing gains a level and I’m not aware of it till I actually check his/her stats.

Some follow up on the most recent patch
Basic game mechanics should allow EVERYONE to max out EVERYTHING. Golders should accept the fact that paying just allows your to max out faster. If the devs want to make some money and golders want an edge, introduce some special item/skill like ‘Stun: 16% chance to stun 10% of enemy fleet’ or ‘Orange Bouncy sword of Whoop arse +3’ that you can only obtain by paying.
I repeat, paying should allow you to progress faster and hold a slight edge but should not be a barrier to maxing out the game’s potential.

- I think he is saying that PM should tell the non golders to “FUCK OFF”.
- He is OK not being able to get multi or triple but not ok with the upgrade percentages
- There need to be a way to get 100% upgrade with multiple books, i.e. Going from lvl2 → lvl3 you need 2 books for 100%, 1 book is 50%; lvl3 → lvl4 you need 4 books, 1 book is 25% etc.
- This way nobody will complain that your % sucks.
- Only in this game that you can fail 9 time in a row with a 50% chance
- Asking PM to do some dice game and post it on youtube.

I’d be pissed too if my money (if I had any) went poof at a click of a button. Congratulation to the golders for putting food on the developer’s plates and having level 10 skills & gear is their reward.

Suggestion Ideas to Increase Active Player Pool
Do away with the “double luck” factor; 100% upgrade/enchant. My luck is already being tested to find one of those upgrade books or enchantment gems. Then my luck is tested AGAIN to see if the stupid thing actually does what its supposed to do. Make then harder to find, make them 100 gold a piece but by jove when I get my hands on 1 of them I expect them to bloody well work!!

Possible Pillar solution
I like this idea. Simpler than mine but I don’t understand something. If it can’t be own and all galaxies that attack it get bonus, that doesn’t really make sense.
Think of it as the pillar bestowing its bonus on you. Maybe make this bonus last for 6 hours or so to motivate galaxies to try and hit the pillar one every that many hours.
But I do like the idea of tier system for rewards although it does take out the competition of pillars. What to keep a galaxy from hitting minimal amount for a tier and stopping?
You are your greatest enemy. Aim higher if you want more coupons.

Possible Pillar solution
1. People hitting pillars are doing it for the coupons. Most people I know couldn’t care less if they owned the pillar or not.
2. Lower level galaxies don’t want or don’t dare hit pillars because the defenders trash boat loads of their ships and they gain nothing in return.
So I suggest that we make pillars free standing objects that cannot be owned and cannot die. They each take turns appearing for 2 hour (just a suggestion) as protected. Then become open for 30 minutes (also a suggestion) to be attacked. Then fades away where another pillar will repeat this process.
Galaxies will be rewarded according to a tiered system based on their damage output in those 30 minutes. We might consider for 100k minimum damage, the attacking galaxy gets the 50% resource bonus + 10% skill bonus from the pillar. Then 500k/1M/5M/10M/20M/40M/80M etc tiers for coupons.
This ensures that a pillar is up every 2 hours & EVERYONE has a fair shake at it without worrying about being out ranked at the last second. All capable galaxies get their their resource bonus + skill bonus + coupons.

Thanks. So you mean 234 chose to swap pillars and the previous was open for taking, then the new one would only last one hour? Who would choose to do that?
When I came on that day, the pillar was already 40 minutes into protection. When I came back 4 hours later, the pillar was gone. I don’t think there is a 12 hour limit in our case unless the said limit was removed in one of the patches or its a bug of sorts.
And to reply to the question of “Who would choose to do that?”, surely not us.

People turning away?
1. Get rid of gold & coupons. Make EVERYTHING cost something in resource. Either 1 specific resources or a combination of resources. Everybody must be able to buy everything. No ifs, buts or maybes!
2. People who want to be on the fast track of fame and power are welcome to buy with Kreds, extra resources & AP.
3. Mall should be personalised for each individual like the Tavern. That way rare items remain rare and people don’t complain about buying empty boxes. Mall roll over times can be made longer.
Expanding on lycour’s idea about removing PvP from pillar raids & a pillar’s strength:
4. A pillars attributes should be defined by the galaxy holding it. E.g. HP is determined by the number & level of all the Control Centres in the holding galaxy. HP recovery per minute/hour is determined by the number & level of all ore mines & power plants in the holding galaxy. Other attributes like damage, defence, can be determined by tech level. This encourages everybody to level their buildings.
5. Galaxies holding a pillar should not be able to participate in pillar raids.
6. The galaxy that wins the pillar raid gets the pillar. No claiming.

Heroes dying in battle was just an example. I wouldn’t mind a daily injury spin. “Joyce trips over loose wire and injures her arm. War skill -1”
However such a scheme is to be implemented, we need an ingenious if not sadistic spin on heroes to increasing the importance of the Tavern.
