It’s an interesting suggestion but building off what Gremmerz stated, Gold should be incorporated into the suggestion to get higher visibility from the developers. For example:

Suggestion:

Allow players to set the active offensive hero skill trigger order for each hero, at any time before a battle (obviously not during the battle).

Current design is a fixed trigger order which is:
combo → critical → triple → multiple → penetrate

Example:

Allow KrazyCat to change Eda’s active offensive hero skill trigger order to:
multiple → triple
before the PvP phase of a pillar raid, then allow him to change the order to:
triple → multiple
before the Pillar phase of a pillar raid.

Would you mind adding level numbers to the skills?

Or better yet, playmage add the skill number to this page of spy reports, so we don’t have to mouse over each skill to know the level. It also helps with saving spy reports as images to our computers, so we don’t have to type the skill levels in manually when we save the image.

Well poo,just cos the way exists does not mean it is logical in any sense:)
I mean,no one is going to spend 600m credits on a hero slot,also,what u stated would be the price of the 9th hero slot.So it would be increasing by 100m each time.And attaining that many credits takes months even with constant pvping.
Also,I think that krazys suggestion is not too bad but not something PM is gonna implement.And it anyway make it too easy to get 30 slots that way for pvpers like me:P

That was one of the points of my post, of which no one has yet suggested an amount of credits to unlock hero slots.

The other point was that there is no point to debate whether hero slots should be made purchasable with credits or not, because there already is a way to do so. (Unless the talk is to convince PM to remove the ability to purchase hero slots with coupons, or the talk is to convince PM to remove the tavern credits/ore change, or the talk is to convince PM to remove the coupons per ore donation to heal pillar.)

But I find playmage’s patch note conflicting… the one that states:
“Increased ore production of level 31+ Ore Mines by 10%.”
Certainly 628 is not a 10% increase of 340?

Looking at these stats seems to me that there’s no disvantages in getting it and replacing MF.

3 disadvantages so far that come to mind.

1. Raises your power level which then puts you within range of higher power opponents, and matches you with potentially harder opponents for PvP phase of pillar wars.
2. Takes longer to build than MF, so it might not be finished building for the next pillar if the next pillar is soon-ish.
3. Cannot store as many T7 as MF in your Shipyards, so less quantity of reserves available when using T7 vs MF (although the counter argument to this is that T7 might die less frequently than MF).

Exploration tech to increase the chance to encounter pirate, and increase the chance to find a treasure box.

Example: Exploration tech level 31 gives 50% + 3.1% (total 53.1% chance) to find a pirate.

averycardoza is partially correct.
As you can see in the below image,
Purple Louis Level 1 has Tech 13 and Build 8.
Gold Louis Level 1 has Tech 17 and Build 10.
Therefore, Gold hero has 4 extra Primary stat and 2 extra Secondary stat.

And I do care about crystals, but only because it costs literally hundreds to promote a hero.

Now I realize I was foolish to think that the rewards for the top rankings would give something like Daily Spin coins that would essentially allow you to spin the Daily Spin additional times to collect rewards.

If you ever get the training pillar to fall, which is probably impossible (600M HP?), you might be rewarded with a treasure box, like with regular pillars.
