So I have a few questions regarding the weapons.

1. Why do people use G5 as the primary weapon instead of say, a Greater Sword?

2. What enhancers are recommended for bring up a base weapon to +10? Atk or Level or something else?

3. Does it make a difference if I level both weapons to max, enhance them to +10 then fuse them?

Thanks in advance.

Could we leave out the personal attacks in this thread? I think there have been enough hate filled posts from either side and its not helping.

Topic: Tyrant / How to fix conquest map stagnation and faction alliance oppression in one easy step

Perhaps a system where the top 100 or top 200 factions are grouped into teams based on a selection of criterion.

1. Average player level
2. Average wins in faction wars
3. Average conquest points from tiles.
4. And more.

As long as the gap between the top team and bottom team isn’t too wide, this should more or less be fair if the selection process is random enough. This would force teams to cooperate as a group.

Though to be honest, it would still be unfair to the top 10/20 factions who would have to cover what they perceive to be “nubfactions” but I find that it would help the game in the long run if everyone playing had a chance to learn from the best and most importantly, participate without feeling left out.

To ensure that such a system could work, you would have to facilitate a easy mode of communication between the team members within the game though.

Perhaps, but what if the reward system was tweaked in such a way that it is based on the average total of the team’s tiles/CR value? This would certainly prove a disincentive to maintain current alliances as it would be detrimental in the long run to maintaining a high tile/CR value.

On the flip side however, given the large number of factions and the high chance of ending up with a team that does not match up with your individual faction’s efforts, Conquest may suffer in the long run as players quit due to having the “RNG” troll them over and over in match ups.

Hello Alex, I am not sure if this has been posted before but here goes.

When using Varangian, I notice that Bodyguard aspect ignores the fact that Varangian has Armor as well. When a unit with 4 attack and rage gets two free swings at me, Varangian takes a full 8 damage instead of just 2 if the unit was swinging directly at Varangian.

If this is not intentional, Bodyguard should respect Armor otherwise Varangian is yet another unfortunate statistic in the never to be used promo line.

Greetings, one and all!

Why stop at just one bonus question? As everyone knows, bonuses are good. The more the merrier. So, enjoy the slew of following questions! (Disclaimer: They may or may not be good questions. They may not even be questions. Forward all complains to ladolcevita, who has this nice pet dinosaur that will enjoy them.)

1. What is the name of the dinosaur in that picture?

2. What colour is that dinosaur?

3. What is the dinosaur thinking?

4. If you could add a speech bubble attached to the dinosaur, what would it say?

5. Is the dinosaur even a dinosaur?

6. Is the dinosaur active or inactive?

7. If inactive, how would you kick the dinosaur?

8. If active, how would you feed the dinosaur?

9. If you answered question 1, would you like to change its name? If yes, do so.

10. If you gave it a twenty letter name or less, it devours you. No more recruiting you. Game over.

11. If you gave it a twenty-two letter name or more, it devours you as well. Ditto as above.

12. Well done! If you made it this far. Congratulations.

That’s all, folks! More to come in the distant future. Really distant. About as distant as the chances of my imaginary friend’s imaginary pet dog not devouring my imaginary cake as I type this. And remember! All applications to ladolcevita, Deltatwelve or TheRealPip. Real swell guys, so contact them!

I am currently wearing a T-Rex t-shirt. My in-game level is 12, and I currently have 1337 Arena points, but that’s probably just a coincidence.

Oh yes, definitely. KoL is one game that I consider to be in a class of its own. Many imitators have tried but fail to scale to their lofty heights. You can find me in there under the same name.

And now back on track. We have noted the applicants and will now enter a totally secret and enclosed chamber to discuss their failings.

Fine, and their merits too.

Hello, folks.

As time passes, changes are inevitable. While the fact that we now have a need to find fresh new members to act as cannon fodder might please some of you, our extremely stringent requirements too have undergone change and that might displease some of you (We do not care just in case if you are wondering.). In any case, let us view the new list!

1. List all the states of the country of India without referring to or using any form of aid as soon as you see this! Note that this is an extreme knee-jerk reaction to Yahrim’s use of the almighty Google to easily circumvent the previous requirement and as such is listed as the first requirement despite it not having any relations or whatsoever to the game. TAKE THAT

2. Answer the penultimate question of destiny. Which is better, Cake or Pie? The wrong answer shall see you being stuffed with a badly made alternative. How badly made? The health and safety officials have forbidden us from answering to safeguard the health of the entire world. That bad. Seriously.

3. Accept the fact that we will never give any hint or whatsoever to the correct answer to the above question. Sadly, that includes stuffing you with hazardous alternatives when you get it wrong.

4. Roll twenty six-sided dice at once and score 120 points. You only have to do it once. If you make it, congratulations. You just used up all the luck in your life.

5. You have to be at least the level of 999 to joi… what? There’s noone at that level yet? Fine, 998? No? 997… 996.. 995.. 994 .. Oh darn it. The requirement is now for you to go outside and sing at the highest volume you can muster. What song? Ten million green bottles sitting on the wall.

6. The above requirements are all made up. You have to realise that. This is just about the only legit and serious requirement we ask of you here. Oh, and do note the suggestion we have below.

We do accept most people based on the very first post of this thread and your answer here. However, we do ask that you at least complete a decent amount of missions, achievements and reach a good amount of reputation to acquire valuable and good cards. We do wars as frequently as we can, so not having a good set of cards when you join will just hurt both yourself and the faction as you have to split your attention between the wars, raids and missions.

Now that is out of the way, post! Let us see your awesomeness or the lack of.

What is this? A recruitment drive thread with no list of incomprehensible, inane and possibly insane requirements?

To inspire the trolls that lurk on the fringe of what passes for madness, here is a comprehensive, albeit not exhaustive, list of requirements that may or may not be what we are looking for:

1. Applicants must be able to play at all times, even if they are taking a bath. Complete with yellow rubber ducky of course.

2. Applicants must be able to name all US states in alphabetical order. Then list them in backwards order immediately after.

3. Applicants must be able to point to a random spot on the World Map and name the place. Failing which, they will have to list the longitude and latitude of the spot and ten reasons why they know such a thing and not the name.

4. Applicants must be able to realise that this list is really short and that the above requirements are totally made up. However, being able to do any of the above is a plus! Except the first. If you do perform the first requirement, this is a disclaimer stating that the poster has nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that you just got electrocuted. The poster is absolved of all blame or responsibility for anything that happens in that situation.

Topic: Tyrant / Suggestions

One of the biggest problems in this game is that when one side gains dominance in a play, it stays like that for the rest of the game till its inevitable conclusion. There is no reliable way to turn battles around once placed in a losing position. Part of this can be attributed to the attacker goes first play in a strictly limited play.

My suggestions are as follows:

1. Increase the deck size to 20.
2. Place a cap of 3 for each card while keeping the existing ruling for unique and legendary cards.
3. Players draw a hand of 5 cards instead of 3.
4. Players have 4 attacking slots and 3 structure slots where they can choose where to place an appropriate card.
5. Each player can place up to 2 cards per turn except for the 1st turn where the attacker can only place 1 card.
6. Action cards use up one placement but will not consume any slot.

With more options to choose from, and a cap placed on the number of each card they can put, players will be encouraged to explore. A limit of 7 cards in play at any time restrict the win more style of gameplay when one side is already dominating. Hopefully, this will allow players to break out of games where they are in a pinch since currently it is all but impossible to do so.
