Regarding the STAMINA RAIDS.

Considering how much plat it costs to unleash a stam raid, the summoner should receive a loot chest upon summoning, perhaps the same as the 7 plat chest in the shop.

This should increase the number of stam raids in shared raids considerably compared to the current situation.

I partially agree with this idea. However, I think that paying 8 plat for something that costs 7 plat plus a raid would be a bit much.

Perhaps a small goodies bag so to speak upon summoning a plat raid using plat (aka not from a ring). Perhaps a chest with a chance at one of the boss’s unique drops or a plat or a scroll.

I will again state it:

Guilds need an announcement page. When you aren’t in a guild, having the leaderboards be the front page is fine. When you are in a guild though, you should have a guild announcement page (specific for guild members) be the default. Or at least have Your Guild be default.

Also, a guild message function would be useful in order to not have to send the same message/set of messages over and over.

Another useful function would be the ability to “guild share” a raid but not have it show up on the guild raids list (in order to make it count as a guild raid but allow only specific players to join).

Or even the ability of an RM to define limitations. (As I’ve mentioned before)

Examples:
RM chooses limit to T3 players or lower. RM chooses limit to T2 players or higher. RM chooses limit to members of this guild or not members of “this guild” . Of course RM should be able to change said limits as needed like if the raid is almost out of time, perhaps the RM will remove all the limits and let anyone hit it.

Possibly even change the raid sharing setup so raid sharing is done in game by sending a message to a specific player. This would allow for an additional option of making only the RM able to share the raid with players.

Also, as something I was requested for several times, some method to link guilds to players/invite specific players to the guild.

Guild capacity increase. Perhaps by paying either 10 plat from guild bank or from personal stores. Perhaps 10 plat for 50 more members with a cap of 200 total?

Show last week’s status in terms of high scores (top raid kills and top battles for guilds, top challenges for players)

Allow GMs to transfer the guild to a specific player instead of having to reform the guild.

Allow GMs to change the guild nemesis (obviously for a fee) and the guild warcry.

Also, possibly for a gold fee, allow us to increase the number of officers perhaps to 10.

Also, allow us to make “protected” members and/or to set officer permissions so we can choose what our officers can do.

I like everything. EXCEPT 10 guild officers. That would leave “too many cooks in the kitchen”. Each officer would think they had great authority, and could boot anyone they wanted, and suddenly BAM! The guild has 11 people! Plus, guild officer is a HUGE responsibility, and should only be bequeathed to 2-4 people.

Thus the other part-protected members and/or officer permissions.

I’ve been in guilds with 40 officers before (in other games obviously). It works just fine since we all understand that the point of officer status is simple: We want someone on 24/7 who can review applications. Plus, half the point of officer status is protection from being kicked.

What does the ally plat sale have to do with anything. Your sentence should read as “There is no longer an ally plate sale.”

As for that being the “serious nerf,” it really was not. We are specifically talking about plat drop rates, not about the usage of plat. You have to remember that half the plat farmers already have max allies anyways so a plat ally sale wouldn’t matter to them.

Also, rease, next time you get a raid summon from a ring, think you could screenshot it and send me the screenshot somehow? I want to see what it looks like.

Maybe it is just a limit of 5-6 plat per day? rofl

Radonir is correct that whether or not rease is always or never raid master is something that must be kept stable in order to keep the test accurate. Scrolls used should also be controlled.

Pretty much, all the tests should be kept controlled as much as possible.

On the other hand, there are those of us who have better drop rates now, so it isn’t completely across the board, but it seems like those who used to get a lot are getting fewer and those who didn’t get much (but who still got a semi-steady income of plat-say 1 per week), are getting more. In other words, lower levels are getting more and higher levels are getting less. But that is just how it seems. Thus, we need more testing.

Don’t forget about stat resets in all blue with being #1.

Anyways, as a thought, account reset for plat. Lets say… 20 plat + (level/3 + 4) + (10*jewels turned in).
Reset weapons and armor (except for maybe specific plat ones) and levels and stats and quests but keep allies and current plat. (Pretty much like making a new account but carry over the allies/premium allies and plat).

Raid kills aren’t stored correctly under specific scenarios.

Main thing I’ve noticed is when two (or more) people get a simultaneous kill. It will either not store either or will only store one as the raid killer. However, in the kongregate perspective, the kill was valid and thus stored. Thus you see things like 200 raid kills in game and 250 raid kills on kongregate. Kongregate counts all raid kills while server only counts single raid kills.

Making chat a separate function so that when you open a different game/window the chat does not refresh. And so that you can reload the page without losing the chat.

I think that would be much more easily done with:

1) A less obstructive popup when selling
2) The ability to go to a list sell page where each item looks like [item] [sell price] [<] [quantity] [>] [total amount] [Sell]
(and where the number doesn’t reset after each click)
3) the ability to click on each item and mark them for sale and having both an acknowledgement button and a “sell and close popup” button.
4) in the raids section have both a use button and a buy and use button that will show the pricing.

Again though, a better item system would solve things also.

And again, I’d like to suggest Raid Master imposed limitations on Raids.
-By max/min level (So people above/below certain levels can’t join)
-By name (So specific people can’t join)
-By guild (So specific guilds can’t join)
-By time (So people can’t join before/after certain durations of the raid)

Obviously this would not kick people that have dealt damage. Whether or not restrictions like max/min level or by name would kick people that have dealt 0 damage would be arguable.

The ability to close a raid so new players can’t join unless it is opened again.

Finally, sniping… It seems that now if two or more hit at exactly the same time, it will show different names. Like one player might see their own name and another person will see another name. I think that everyone who hits within a certain time of the death should get a bonus, but that the bonus should be based on their damage placement. It would make it so more people snipe but it would also reduce the penalty of being sniped. (That or just give the highest damage dealer the priority if they hit within a few seconds of the death) I’ve been sniped multiple times when I did just slightly less damage than expect and left the boss with 50 or less health and I’ve seen people get sniped the same way.

The problem is speed already does more than every other stat… It would turn pvp builds into godly builds that can do everything. I could understand like fortitude or strength though since right now they aren’t that useful

But anyways…

Another suggestion: Allow us to make raids of bosses we are fighting as long as it is a different tier.

And perhaps allow us to make raids of bosses one tier lower.

A change to how items work might be in order if having over 2000 items causes lagging. An Array would work well for storing items, especially non-weapons.

And perhaps a way to sell items to other players. Like say you get an item from a chest or a drop from a raid/quest. Enable players to sell the items to other players for an amount based on the gold cost of the item (or the plat cost as it may be) Say half of the original price.

Make it so that ring summons aren’t automatically set to private but be based on what the previous raid was. So killing a private raid would make a private raid that can be changed, killing a guild raid would make another guild raid (or a private raid), killing a public raid would make a public raid.

Also, enable raid masters to set limitations. Like if a raid master doesn’t want people over/under X level to join. Or if the raid master only wants to give out the raid link themselves (This would to some extent require an in-game invite or a hash specific to each player). Enable the raid master to “close” a raid so that nobody else can join (and open it back up later if needed). Make it so that the raid master can set limitation such as max damage (will explain in next paragraph).

In other words, the maximum damage would be either set as a percentage (easier to figure out) or a number (harder to figure out but might be easier to program). Each player can only do up to that much damage until a trigger is met. The trigger would be one of two options: Raid master damage or Raid boss state. In the case of raid master damage, the raid master could set a certain number/percentage that they have to do before everyone can go all out on the boss. In the case of raid boss state, there would be two mini variables: Time and Health. These options might be system set values instead of RM set values.

An example: Raid master spawns a raid. Before sharing, they select that the max damage will be Max bonus. (15% of raid boss health). The trigger is set to raid master damage. The raid master then can choose: Max bonus or Max items. The raid master chooses Max items. So until the raid master gets max items (say 75k damage), nobody can do more than 15% damage. Once the raid master reaches 75k damage, then everyone can hit at will.

Another example: Raid master spawns a raid: Select that the max damage will be max items (so 200k/75k/25k/300 depending on the level of the player). The trigger is set to boss state. The timer is automatically set for 1 hour left and the HP portion the raid master can choose from any of the bonus levels (1-7). Once the boss Only has that much hp left, everyone can hit at will.

Healing items for raids: Allow the raid master to purchase items (either for plat or gold) that will allow the raid master to heal a boss). That way, if a player needs more damage, the raid master can add a bit of health so that the player can finish.

Damage based on player level to raid level. Say a level 20 player joins a Tier 1 raid. They do 100% damage. Tier 2 raid, 100% damage, etc. A level 30 player joins a Tier 1 raid, they do 80% damage. Tier 2 raid, 100%, Tier 3, 100%, etc. A level 70 player joins a Tier 1 raid they do 60% damage. Tier 2, 80%, tier 3 100%, t4 100%, etc. A level 100 joins a T1 for 40%, T2 for 60%, and so on. With minimum damage being 20% . This would make it more reasonable for a higher level player to join lower tier raids.

Also, the current method of hiding raids is fairly pointless and only gives an advantage for players who use alts to join raids and give their main characters the link.

Also, for raids, a “prejoin” would be useful. Like first hitting a screen where they can see who is in the raid and how much HP is left and how much time is left before actually joining. (So if they go to a raid but then find out that they don’t actually want to join, they can join at a later time).

Also, a “who is here” function would be nice. Like if someone is on the raid page, their name has a glow to show that they are actively participating in the raid still. And/Or if the name colors were based on their current item tier. This would allow for easier checking to see who still needs to do damage.

An alliance pool page would be nice. Like a page where players who want allies can place themselves and then people can from that page click a button that sends an ally request.

Better buffs. Instead of the buffs currently in the market, some other buffs would be nice such as faster energy recharge or faster stamina recharge for say a day or week with the price per day being lower for buying longer periods.

A “special” boss would be also interesting. As in when summoning a T4+ boss, having a chance (say 1% chance) of the boss being stronger than normal with say double or more health and special effects (damage reduction, a slow healing effect, etc) with a higher reward chance than normal (But the damage to hit bonus would remain the same as if it was a normal boss which would allow more players to hit bonus tiers).

Following “special” bosses, a “community” boss would be interesting. Say a boss with 50 times more health than normal, automatically set to public, special raid master settings, special effects, and a larger timer and slot capacity and no disappearance from the list. How it would work is that the T4 cost of the boss would be tripled or more. And on the raid pages there would be a tab for community bosses. Each player can contribute to the cost and be added to the “raid master” list for that boss. (So there could be one of each type of boss at the same time). Once the full amount has been paid, within a minute, the boss is summoned and everyone can attack it regardless of their level. Obviously the bonus levels would be based on the normal version of the boss. Winning could net special rewards such as buffs or bonus gold.

Make it so we have an 8x speed.

Make it so that we have the ability to set a card to never play first or always play last when on auto.

Fix up the code so that the game isn’t 500 MB of RAM and take ten minutes to load on slower connections (especially since a disconnect can cause the game to have to reload all of it).

The tutorial is self explanatory but I’m saying it could be written better in terms of stats distribution. How I read it, I thought I had to put stats into energy to continue the quest (perhaps I did) when I really wanted to put points in other stats.

And how would people who have more allies be screwed? I have almost 200 player allies as it is due to how the friend system works (if they all accept at the same time you accept, you can go over the limit but only 150 of them can attack). All I’m saying is make it so that the system allows us to purposefully keep adding people instead of having to have it be based on timing. All that would change is allowing people to have more people on their allies list so that if someone unallies, they don’t have to go hunting for a new ally right away.

To person who doesn’t understand: The idea is that you’d have a total of 1999 (999 npc and 1000 pc) but only 999 npc and 150 pc can attack. All it does is make it so that if someone unallies, you don’t have to first find a new ally and then raid.

As for stats, that is what I mean. Have the tutorial explain the benefits of each stat for questing/pvp . Thus make the tutorial no longer say assign stat points to energy but instead just assign stat points.

That or give people one free stat reset when they hit say level 40 so that they can mess up once and not have to worry about it.

Increase the maximum friends list to say 300 or 1000 but still keep the maximum participants at 150
-also have a sorting function so we can sort by last login to remove inactive friends.
Make it so that the shared raids list is sortable/scrollable.
Allow for inventory sorting by rarity or name or price or some other value.

Make it so that each stat has a more balanced factor in pvp. Right now it seems like each stat has a much different factor in combat.

Perhaps make it so that for every 50 (maybe 100 or 150) fortitude make energy regenerate by 1 more per minute and for every 100 (maybe 150 or 200) fortitude, make stamina regenerate by 1 more per minute.

Change the tutorial so that people don’t put stats into energy without knowing how the game works. (Have an explanation for what each stat does and don’t tell people to put stats into energy)

Allow players to sell items to other players instead of NPCs at somewhere between NPC price and normal price.
Allow players the ability to trade gold for plat in a trading board (There are a few games that do this)
-Plat sellers and the plat buyers. Plat will sell to the highest buyer and will buy for the lowest available price.
(don’t think I explained that very well)

Just a quick idea or two:

Enable retaliations (as in if a faction attacks yours, they are on a special list for 24 hours where you can easily attack them back)

Enable last log-in date for faction members so you know who has been online and who has not.
