What you don’t know is that Steam works in corporation with Static Shock for you see, he is the uninterruptible power supply.

But as seen in one of the episodes, sunspots created some electromagnetic magic and doodads and fucks up his powers.
With his powers out of control, Static Shock fried the Steam networking systems and destroyed the final project version of Episode three, forcing Newell to now shit out another Left 4 dead and promoting more indie games.
