Thanks Tass. There is some chance this won’t work for everyone as the savefile format has changed slightly to include the extra levels. But good to hear it worked for you and its worth a shot if you want to restore your progress :)

A note to those who played an early version of Max Damage: all 49 levels are now playable on Kong. I scrapped the idea of selling extra content in this game as I realized it was not suitable or good value for players. Your save data might be lost if you played an early version, but its a small price to pay for 21 extra levels ;)

I also fixed the Damage Calculation code that was causing problems for some players with slower machines (on level 10 in particular).

Hey Tass, glad you (mostly) approve of the new version! A lot of players didn’t like the bosses in the original – you either figured out how to kill them pretty easily or else found them really annoying. The level design, imho, is pretty sweet, but you are entitled to your opinion I suppose ;) Watching you play through was fun.

Heh, yeah a lot of people seem to have missed the level code solutions even though there is a link right there on the title page ;) Its cool to see people sharing solutions and also also their sandbox codes anyhow…

Good description Phatcat. The way I do it is to hit them hard (but not too hard) into the walls more or less horizontally. Then I move out of the way and wait for them to come back off the walls before hitting again. I make sure I hit them as they are coming towards me – that way the yellow/red enemies they shoot will be behind them as I hit them so I won’t take damage. Quite hard to explain but relatively easy once you get the idea.

Other tips:
—be patient
—don’t chase the bosses around, always try to hit them as they come towards you
—same technique works for multiple bosses (level 18, 24, 30) – concentrate on one boss before taking out the other
