Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / [Guide] Invisible Allies

It occurred me this was really outdated. I knew about a lot of stuff that changed but I didn’t update because I intended to check 50 versions of changes and update everything at once. Since I didn’t get around to I thought about updating this from memory. I did the following:

  • I separated IA specific stuff from “Drop Rate” section, the “rare enemy counts as 1x instead of 10x” thing was really confusing.
  • Updated the drop rate of evolving enemies (0.5x → 0.1x)
  • Updated IA chance for evolving enemies (evolving now has same chance to drop IA as regular enemy, if I remember correctly)
  • Changed DP epic chance (regular: 0.1 → 0, WM: 1.0 → 0.1).
  • Moved “Special Cases” to the bottom of “Taming” section.
  • Updated “Calculation” section for separate DR section, removed evolving enemy example.
  • Removed “IA by level” section because IA filter made it obsolete.
  • Added IA active ability list (sortable) by crazye97.
  • edit: link

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / Goodbye topic

No, it’s not that I got bored. There were many things I was looking forward to: I was just about to start getting uniques and mystery rocks for the weapons I got mining, I was going to start bestiary hunting again, I was going to increase my ascend count again, I was going to start going after S-rank quests again, I was looking forward to 100m garden exp in a few months, etc, etc. No, it’s not because of some feature changes, if it was the case I could just play an older version indefinitely.

Like I said in my first post, it’s because I don’t agree with how the game has been handled. I didn’t go in details because it’s not the point of this topic. Even if I said anything I’m sure nothing would change. If it did, why would it matter if I already quit and don’t intend to play again?

Anyway, I think there’s little point in keeping this topic around. This is how the original post looked like:

I thought I would be playing this game a lot longer because there was still so much to do. I also was just planning on updating my guides and making new ones. It’s really sad I’m not going to anymore.

I’d like to thank everyone on this forum for being here, because what kept me playing this game all this time was its community. I would like to thank the following in special: Tukkun Majildian, Aurian, Bench, ChaosII7, Darkruler2005, shinki12345, Beeshrine09, toadvine, crazye97, savag3blow, Toa_of_Pi, Sturmfeder, Ketchupyoshi, lackinglack1, Almandaragal, TLTTP.

I think that’s it. I wish good luck to everyone that’s still playing, and Tukkun on finishing his seemingly endless project.

Well I sort of have been around on Kong just because of Anti-Idle. But I’ll probably be around later on when I get bored of other stuff.

That’s it. You’re not going to make me use 800k random fruits to be able to earn more of them again, nor open 500k mystery boxes in a couple days because you’re taking them away. I’m really tired of stupid stuff like this happening over and over. I’m going to quit this game.

After logging in today I instantly got the Errorcode 74325922 (see screenshot). What does this mean?
(disregard the zero-ed Stadium-skills. Those are from my IMP-Ascension)

Snowman25 | 76,896 / 2,186,054,476,087 | [d3]–963 | F0 | v1,587 | WIN 11,6,602,180 | Wed Apr 10 22:07:21 GMT+0200 2013

That means your system clock was incorrect and it updated to correct time just after you opened the game. It jumped 20.6 hours (74325922 ms) since the game previously checked.

That, or you left the computer on sleep mode when the game screen was open (that causes some problems with features that depend on system clock, please don’t do that). Or you changed system clock manually.

PS I find it stupid funny that the bug report screen tells you not to report “bugs” related to system clock change, yet the internal error display message for that kind of thing has no way of identifying what it is without asking about it here.

You’re saying Tukkun should waste his time implementing something because you’re too lazy to take 20 seconds to multiply the number of times you can harvest a tree by its harvest value?

Nothing new is unlocked. You just get the regular recipe level increase benefits, that is higher Legendary/Epic/Rare/Uncommon base chance (random increase in defense upon crafting) and increase in number of Crystals you can apply when crafting the item.

Adrenaline works on all regular potion buffs (hence “potion efficiency”), that is, Power, Master, Reward and Magnet. It won’t work on Nightmare and Anti-Curse, despite being able to apply them from potion too.

Buff Boost works on all buffs, but it doesn’t affect the stat loss from Nightmare and doesn’t do anything for Invincibility, Magnet and Anti-Curse.

It’s not really possible for anyone to tell you for certain because different setups give different reward amounts (e.g., you can get 25 speed with master pickaxe but only 10 with bronze, while someone else can get 25 with both). You should use Technical Lights program #8 for checking CM gain (save variable arenaCraft), test it with different weapons and compare the results.

They can stun you in Apocalypse mode. But you shouldn’t really be idling if that’s the case.

I’m wondering how that would be possible. Is there a new Magic Secret Crystal of Doom enemy that can attack you or something?

Also, didn’t even Tukkun say in the juggernaught armor thread that he had no idea players were capable of achieving such power in the game through shear grinding?

How is Tukkun saying something of any merit? He never has ANY idea about what will happen when he does something, otherwise he wouldn’t have to add difficulty increase like WM mode and extra exp for 100+ ascensions because the game became way too easy, and then have all updates be 80% nerfs after running out of options to make the game harder legitimately.

Juggernaut set did work alright, but it was overly complicated and the foundations of current sets were already there back then, you just had to make up for the lack of skills and buffs with defensive bonuses (that’s what I did after trying your set and not liking it much).

Anyway, I don’t think anyone should be blamed for trying to make a guide even if it fails horrible.

I do think someone should be blamed when everybody around him tells him not to do it, and he still does it. Just like the several times he created topics for his suggestions that would just end up locked.

Technically, it doesn’t matter. Lolmarket profit acts as a underdamped system, so the maximum profit occurs when you sell at first peak (just as demand starts to decrease more than it can increase and becomes negative), and it’s still a good idea to sell as long as the demand is significantly negative because it will drop back to a lower minimum price than if you waited for demand to increase again. After it reaches the first valley and demand is significantly high it’s a better idea to wait for next peak, so price will then decrease as fast as possible like said above (despite not being the highest value as possible anymore).

In short, the most important thing is being there when demand turns around. I use 1300/1700 because sometimes level 10 gems turn around at 1750-1800 (without control) or it’s already that low when I check. But you could use 1500/1500 with no problems if you wanted to (edit: that is, because you’re better off selling based on low/high demand instead of high/low price).

Nope, I don’t really remember you making a bad guide like that. Apart from how you made a 3rd FCG deck thread a few weeks after your 2nd just to fill it in with advice no one cared about (notice how people discuss FCG decks in reorx8’s thread lately?), and didn’t include all the awesome decks from previous topic and people missed out on them. Also “juggernaut” set was terrible, but I can’t blame you since back then nobody knew how the game worked at all, so it probably was the best you could do, really.

This topic reminds me of a certain person I’m not fond of that would make “guides” that were pure collection of obvious and useless information a couple years ago. The sad part is that said person probably thought he was actually helping others.

For humorless individuals who are unable to recognize a joke; this is a joke.

The only thing that got me wondering was that you posted it in the User made guides topic. Submitting a joke topic is really low, so I had a hard time believing that.

That just about covers everything, may the incredible complexity and depth of the button machine never confuse or terrify you again!

Are you serious, or is that just over the top sarcasm? What you wrote is just no-brainer stuff that take 10 minutes to find out yourself, and it’s missing all the information you would need a guide for. I doubt anybody would ever learn anything new from reading it.

I could probably make a better guide in my sleep. Maybe I should just do that.

Cons: A good Dominator Gem or Mega Triangle Gem can fulfill this role too.

Not true. If enemy has yellow name there’s nothing that can increase exp gain better than yellow madness gem. It affects a completely different multiplier than other bonuses and it effectively increases exp gain by at least 1.12×.

I find it very hard he would hide he had used CE and fail to hide the things mentioned above (some of them are beyond obvious and hint at him doing them on purpose to get caught). He didn’t even bother hiding his identity.

Even if he’s done it in a secondary file, he’s trying to pass it off as real. He’s also had no regard about turning off highscore submission before doing it. So it doesn’t really matter if he’s doing it with his main file or not.
