Well since we can’t force them to read it, the least we can do is make it easily accessible for them. Which is precisely what sticky does. So while it may not make an instantaneous phenomenal impact, it will do some good as far as something to refer people to.

Nice stuff Marh, the only addition I could think of, and one of which I find should be on nearly all guidelines, is a simple recommendation for some nice, old-fashioned common sense. If something seems useless,pointless, or against the rules, don’t involve yourself with it, etc etc? Maybe something along those lines.

Then again, do you guys really care much about having a new plotline when playing a game? Do you ever judge a game based on “oh it’s another game where you’re the hero and you have to save the world, I don’t like it”?

I have never really been into flash gaming for the plotline. I mean, I played Gemcraft. I obviously don’t care about plotline making any sort of sense.

Elitism

Well almost any reward will favor Elitism to an extent. You can’t really bash it too hard for that. The only suggestion I would really find to be nice without doing any real damage would maybe be a little forum for higher levels. But again, if you’re against Elitism, it’s going to happen with next to anything that rewards you for being better than other people.

Wow, Xymn. Very nice job. I am having a lot of trouble following your exact strategy here, although I do completely suck at Gemcraft. I think a video would suit this nicely.
