firstly, it isn’t damage per strike. That will be obvious when you look at how your strikes don’t all carry (e.g.) 21.2, 21.2, floating away up into that air.
It is damage per second. Strike is variable based on whether it’s a fast weapon (many, lower damage strikes) or a slow weapon (fewer, higher damage strikes)

Whereas previously I had an unprecedented $420 worth of pudding, I now have $427 worth, having recently acquired two $3.50 packages.

The devs definitely need to add some type of upgrade.
I think 4 or 5 more level bosses and your tournament idea would keep people playing longer than a few weeks.
At level 30 or 35 (whenever mecha genbu comes out) the game is effectively over.
