I’d like to see a new hero in each tier that only has 0 – 1 skills, but allows you to customise them with skills you have acquired. At the moment, there isn’t much you can do with a skill after mastering an uncommom/rare blueprint.

Topic: Shop Heroes / tradehouse noobs

Some people just don’t want anything for a sale.

1) If you’ve just started on an item line, and are crafting a lv8 item, but can not sell one to any of your heroes, it’s worthless to you. So you end up with 40 items you can’t sell, do you throw them all in the bin, or do you sell it to someone for almost free. Because let’s face it, at some point you’re crafting items 10 times more expensive than the item you can’t sell, so you not really going to notice if you’re few thousand gold short when you have millions.

2) Are you really going to set a price of 300%+ because somebody else is doing that. Ask yourself, are they going to sell it at that price, if not, then put a more realistic price on. I’m not going to wait 5 years for the market to crash and for someone to decide that a heavily inflated price is worthwhile. If you go to your local corner shop and take a small packet of £1 sweets to the till, and the cashier says ’that’ll be £10, please’, are you going to buy it there, or go next door where there’s a discount and they’re only 80p?

3) It’s not about ‘under-cutting’, it’s about setting a price you are prepared to pay, and you think others are prepared to pay. Be realistic. If you want to sell something for 100%, that’s the price you’ve set, just because someone is greedy, it doesn’t make their price correct. I’ve put a lv8 common on trade for 800 gems, because i was making sure it wasn’t sold, I’m not expecting someone to say ‘maybe i can get 900’. I expect someone to undercut that, what you propose is that my ridiculous price tag should be sold first, and that isn’t gonna happen. This is auction.

Topic: Shop Heroes / Personal Quests

Personal quests are the worst thing about this game, and the one thing above all else that must be changed. I really don’t like them. I’ve been playing for a few months now, i’ve done maybe 4 quests. I just can’t start them.

Finding the hero in the inn is a nice idea, but there needs to be a menu to see and send these quests out specifically too, unless i can’t find it. I recently completed Garreth’s ‘first test’ at lv16, which i think is designed for a lv4. Once you establish who you need and what items you may need, you go craft or buy to kit them out, only to find they’ve finished their drink and gone home. So you send a team on a quest to clear the place out, resulting in either no quest slot available, or some guy who is too wounded to fight for the next hour hanging around, meaning you still can’t save Karal’s pet or whatever. Or perhaps by stroke of luck, your chosen hero is in the inn, but are intimately close with another making it impossible to select them. The result is you spend half an hour getting them ready, and 2 hours trying to find them. whilst making sure as to not send them off, and keeping a slot open, and messing up your whole questing for the day, only of course to discover that they’re only a B or a smiley rank, and with 50% chance of A ranks failing, you need to get more items. By which point, they’ve gone home again and you now need to go to work.

Half my heroes are probably too amazing now to be running around with puny stuff anyway. but Karal’s pet has died, Gauvin missed his mother’s birthday, Melina is still being teased, and i still rant at the computer every time i even think ‘oh, maybe i can do this quest today’.

Can we just have an extra menu screen please? A switch button that turns the dungeon list into a character list, maybe.

Topic: Crusaders of the Lost Idols / What You Would Like To See Added

I’d like idol fragments, like Zelda heart pieces. Collect a enough fragments, and you get +1 idol on next reset. Could work as a chest drop, higher rarities giving larger fragments. Not sure how much use this would be for the guys with thousands, but early on, +1 every now and then would be cool. :D (unless it was +1 +1%, that way after 100 idols the bonus will be higher.)

Topic: Bloons Monkey City / How to start games?

I’m also lv21 in my best city, but i wouldn’t say it was a noob level, i spent a week or two going from 20 to 21. You look like you have some nice upgrades, i’m sure you can take a moab. :) I haven’t beaten many moabs ‘cause i haven’t tried many, but at level 20 i beat a BFB tile. My set-ups are by no means the best, but usually i use;

a random free dart monkey somewhere out of the way, sometimes a 4/0, mostly 0/0, a ninja, a wizard. i try to get them to ninja 3/2 and wiz 2/0 as soon as i can, early waves upgrade order doesn’t matter much. Usually then get a glue 2/1 (last) and sniper 1/2 (strong). Then i work on getting a bomb tower or tack upgraded. But that’s just my start, eventually i get ninja 4/2, wiz 2/2 glue 2/2, sniper 2/3, bomb 2/3, tack 4/0, with some spikes, super monkeys and villages, and more of the above for final waves. when i use a farm i start with 1/0 and see what cash i still have left, then begin saving for 2/0 after round 5. When ninja and wizard are restricted i use a buccaneer 2/2 – 3/2 and a bommer 3/2 respectively.

Every time a shadow pops up i lose 80% of the time. XD They’re so mean….
Apparently though placing towers around the orb can help shoot shadow projectiles, whatever that means….

Worked out a strategy for opening those tomes, by lowering gem radius to zero, I can let monsters swarm round the tome, then hit them with a curse or whatever’s needed, release the gems full potential and blast ’em with beams and such. :D Spread the amp love.

Topic: Bloons Monkey City / NEW BLOON FOR BTD6!!!

Your bloon sounds frightfully difficult to overcome. :0
Can i propose a new bloon type too? :D what about an ‘impostor bloon’ Shaped like a crudely designed monkey, that can only be targeted by a machine? spike factory, tack shooter, bomb tower, engineer turret, dartling mortar. (because mortars don’t care who they fire on.) Monkeys could mistake it for a civilian and hold fire. Or maybe the other way around, maybe machines can’t trace heat signatures or spot a monkey impostor bloon.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Kings of the Realm Crafting : Material Refinement and Rarity

This sounds awesome, can’t wait. :D Question time.
1) If i fail to destroy a loot orc camp, does it remain there? If the commander i send is defeated can I send another stronger commander to win it?
2) You mentioned in an earlier post something about only being able to carry so many loot crates on a commander. If i send someone without the loot capacity, do i lose the new crate, or does it remain till i send someone who can actually pick it up?
3) Can we get shrines to increase drop rate by 5%, and increase rarity drop by 5%? Can i have one of these shrines next to me so i can hog it. :)
4) Are you going to make my commanders travel 20 minutes away to pick up the nearest loot crate?
5) Can we have loot based contests?

Not sure whether this is related to the post, but I just had a 5 turn combat against another player. I may have lost, but I still wiped out over half their forces, for this I was given 0exp. I normally get exp from defeats, this is like saying ‘only the strong will survive’, without any defeat exp, the strong will get stronger and the weak get weaker.

Topic: Monsters & Dungeons / frustration poll of the month

This is relative to what drops you get. I’m not too far into the game, so I can’t do master or master or heroic, expert is hard enough right now.
I have 6 ash arrow, they drop more than common for me on 8.5, and 3 core, and the rarer versions. For me, the fire dino wouldn’t be too difficult to evolve.
I have 5 jawrahna, again pretty common for me, and 3 tentajewls.
I have 1 undread left, after using 2 to evolve my sproutasaur, the only other evo monster for it i have is 1 havespore, which i got from an egg. But just based on leveling my starter to a 3*, I could’ve evolved the fire and water starter to the same stage two weeks earlier. It all depends on your drops though, they should all be the same. Easier to find epistle and the hand too, these undread drop rates are ridiculous….

1) poison blade. I was so hyped I bragged about it to my nooby friends.
2) Fire sword. I was really hyped then someone told me it unlocked an enchanter recipe and it was suddenly lame.
3) Tinkerer. duh. He had the most interesting hair.
4) Wait, I have a bowyer?! Carpenter’s shields. Once I worked out how to make hard-wood buckler.
5) Is this the same as question 2? 40 Fire swords → Ice brand, yay for contributions.

Topic: Swords & Potions 2 / Suggestions for names for S&P2 successor

Maybe as it will be a different company, adding a 3 could be a little misleading, and changing the name completely would make it appear, to anyone who isn’t aware of the move, that somebody stole the idea. Or that it’s completely separate from the S&P series. Perhaps there could be a version title, like Swords and Potions: A New Start. Or S&P Golden Amulets, kinda hard to name something when we don’t know what new contents there might be, like this game could’ve been S&P City, or A Thousand Days of Grind.

Cloudcade said their may be a surprise something for those that had supported Edgebee games in the upcoming S&P game. Still, the boons of using tokens on their games still gives/gave you a more enjoyable playing experience whether tokens will retain a use in the upcoming game or otherwise.

Topic: Swords & Potions 2 / Suggestions and Ideas

I don’t know if there’s a place where I can view all my current customers. The majority at the moment have reached their level cap, and it would be nice to know how many low levelled customers can still grow. I can view the customers that come to my shop in the city hall, but I just see their respective level range. It would be nice to have a figure somewhere rather than trawling through the city hall counting all my customers. The place where I can view this information is probably somewhere, but I can’t find it.

Another thought though, perhaps we could have a button that allows you to ask for a particular item in the city trade. Which would help someone know that another is after a particular item, so would help them out by putting one up. Event quests seem like they may need assistance. I love trading though. :D It’s helpful.

Yes. I knew I wasn’t hallucinating about the send all…Well, it’s not like I have many in my list, but send all was so convenient. :) Now to find out whether I was hallucinating about the currency discounts…. Could’ve sworn it was 19/48/90/?/800….

Trading would be lovely, but it would probably be difficult to implement successfully. I was thinking that to prevent people abusing a trading system by creating multiple accounts and sending all the good cards to one, or to a new player, there could be an extra currency. Trade Points, TP, which could be obtained through Bamgo, objective rewards, and brought with DP. Trading needs to come at a price, otherwise we could just simply get all the cards we need without any trouble. I was thinking something like trading rarity for rarity 1 TP for a common, 2 for a rare, 4 for an ultra rare, and 8 for a legend. So there would be a cost to get the specific legend you’re after, but that would be nothing compared to buying dozens of packs searching. Just a suggestion, not sure how, if ever, it will come.

I was thinking about this last night, how peculiar to see a topic on it… If they were to put Exodia in the game, they would probably make 2 of the pieces spell cards, like the legs, and have the head and arms monsters. It wouldn’t be to far different from what they have now, with trap cards labelled spells. But if you could get all 5 pieces in play at the same time, you’d instantly win. Exodia has always seemed to me to be completely OP, probably why he’s called ‘the forbidden one’, but the developers would make it ultra hard to get all the pieces by putting each one in a different pack, that would obviously cost DP. So you would have to spend hundreds of DP on each respective pack till you got them all, and with no trading, the only ones that would benefit would be the people who pay a considerable amount of money. Which would only lead to a bigger rift between the people who pay and those who do not. But assuming they put Exodia in the game, those with the pieces will then be pining for Exodia Necros, or whatever it’s actually called, so that they can send all the cards to the graveyard and then still summon him. I think there’s already several very powerful monsters in this game, that to put something unstoppable in may cripple it, but I have to admit, it would be fun to summon Exodia. I just like typing….

Topic: Yu-Gi-Oh! BAM / Great Game Ruined by a Bad Energy System

I agree that removing the energy system would break the game, progress wouldn’t mean anything. Would you rather beat the whole game in a week, or actually try and get some long term enjoyment out of it? Removing it completely would alter the game drastically, it wouldn’t be the same. However, there are plenty of solutions to improving the current system. As suggested above, incrementing the max on each level up, or increasing the total, buying energy with other currencies. Another suggestion would be to half the cost for replaying duels you just lost. The high costs later in the game are annoying, but you can always come back later.

I believe you lose 15 energy every time you lose an ambush. Which is a real pain when you wait 15 minutes then make your way to the 15 energy duel, only to find you’ve lost it all before getting there. :| If you have less than 15, you lose it all.

Just two more suggestions, they do not need to be implemented, they’re just suggestions;
5) Default friends. So when you start playing you have a friend like Tristan, who you can duel each day, and then at level 4 you get another friend, Téa, and at level 8, Duke ect… So as you level you have more duels you can do each day, and these default friends would have a set deck, each stronger than the last. Possibly there could be a 5% chance each day that you receive a gift from one of them, like 6 card pieces, 1000 coins, cripple 200 ect..

6)A training area. A place where you can go to test out a new deck without the cost of energy. You could select the level of the battle terminal you face and they would use a random deck with a number of life-points between a set bracket relative to the level selected. Would be a great way to pass the time too, but a reward for winning would not be necessary as it would just be a training ground.

All out of suggestions for now. :)
