I dont get you Podian. I helped more players you ever could =), long before you even played, and after and even now. I helped coolboy, provided infos for draconswan too for his battle simulation program, darkitay too and dragoncove.

All i see you do is just vent some un known frustation and hate towards me and devourer. Maybe come a bit down from your ego and hate podian and dont be a total douche (in your language). Say sorry and and not just a flamer. Deal podian?(in good ol’ RK style)

In all seriousness though. If you expect someones help, then dont insult someone O_o;. I dont get you honest.

He is often covered with blood, but rarely it’s his own.

Extra lore:

After human fleed to vinland, they first met these savages.
A war for land broke out immediately.

Orc tribes fighting only for themself,
this trait doesnt helped them at all vs the mighty trinity alliance
which was far superiour then them in every aspect.
The Orcs got closer to extinction by every day passing.
Because of the lack of military technology and battle tactics.
They usualy cleared issues in an all open slaughter which ended up in a blood bath.

After roughly 25 years of fighting and losing nearly all of vinland,
a new Orc leader raised out of the shadows suddenly overnight.
He had the strength to fight against other orc leaders and dominate them,
but also the wits to hold his ground against the mighty trinity alliance.
When orcs heard that and seen him, they united under his banner for a huge stand off.
He leaded them to countless wins against the trinity and regained ground.
It ended up with first ever peace treaty made between the refugees and orcs.

The name of the orc who won this war for his clansman is Chief Wigs.

I am actually not a fan of the shield time needs to be as long as the defendest longest heal time. Because that could lead to people setting up on purpose long defenses, even if they are useless (like only monster hunters) just to get a REALLY huge shield time. And its not hard to have a sister alliance bubble you, so you dont lose anything on it too, just getting a nice large shield.

I see it like this. The shield should at last support a somehow working defense.

It’s no use if you need to use only the lowest tier units to defend, so they get completly healed up. Because then you get overruned SUPER easy and robbed every 2h clean from your ressources.

A somehow good working defense in endgame can be a good mix out of middle and end tier units (not including monster). So from Longbows upwards. Compositions of these defense setups currently are between 4-9 h roughly in most cases. Which leads to the dilema of having only half restored after 2h. Meaning after 2h it gets easy again to just overrun someone and rob them clean. Some players like to do just this, many complained about that.

In my eyes the shield should at last be roughly 3-4h minimum. We are having theoretical 4h-5h heal times on our side for defense, with a few shrine boni. If i would set up my strongest def it would even end up 8-10h healtime roughly.

1. For some yes :3, it’s not all about alliance members here through. It’s more about the game. When i have done a few of these, they wheren’t even in the same alliance. And alot arn’t in. I try to evolve this around stuff which happens ingame (like with Fharajy) and how people are connected with each other and the realms are moving.

Some players may become locations (like dragoncove here or FadedHope).

2. Yes there will come alot more. I do it when i find time for it, so it can take quit a while before i update.

So here i will put in a few of my sketches. It’s all about players in the game. With a lore to them about how they lived and what they did roughly in the world of Vinland in Kings of the realm.

All together it gives an alternate universe (or story) beside the Book line. (still there are references to the book in sometimes)

I will work out some sketches, but mostly its just for the design part. So many will stay simple.

Digit stated it in chat that it is 500 silver per minute. And 1 gold per 30 min (so lowered again, which is fine).

For me i think it can work out. But in the end well, meh i would rather have liked a change on how gold heal works then be able to do it with silver.

1) I usualy do Orc attacks with 2 commander if i farm orcs. Traveltime roughly 2min. Not the most efficient way for sure.
roughly 40k-60k pure silver of the orcs in 1h (not counting in the other res)
I rarely loot from players. Just sometimes from some where i noticed that they are inactive. And from another currently too, but also only the outer districts. The income is rather low though it.

2)
XP farming abuse(influences tournaments too)
(can be done with an alt, with an alliance member, with an member of a sister alliance, with just anyone you want to do and he is fine with it)

a)
Simple, set yourself next to each other, place militia in 4 outer districts (ideal with under 5 min auto heal time, so you can easily heal them instandly) and the other one attacks them. Do it crossrealm (both close to the border) and abuse the shit out of it. The attacker has nearly no heal time and costs, because nude militia dont hurt. And the defender has no cost either or healtime. Huge boni through cross realm, but still worth it if not cross realm too.

b)
For the lazy: You can do it with 60k ap militia stacks also, giving easy out millions or exp. With roughly 5min heal time for the Attacker, but a bit more for defender.

This was mentioned often already, solutions may be to give units a kind of weight for exp, and dont base it on AP. With that 2k AP unequiped militia should yield ALOT less then 2k AP equiped OBC. as an excample. The feeding can be done with all kinds of units through. Just the first fast healing ones are most apealing.

c)Alts can be used to attack and hold tower/shrines (old issue which still is used by some player), which is a huge advantage, double troops and commanders.

d)For res gain its the same. You can use the alts too to have a higher farming range of players to easily grab res, then transfer(by attacking) it back to the account you want. Or like a double res production. Bubbling each other if needed to make it foolproof.

This is harder to catch i guess, because attacking and pillaging is part of the game after all.

e)For res from inactive player I think this is not an issue, because everyone can hit them and they vanish after some weeks.

It may become an issue if the “inactive” account logs in every few times, or turned into an alt, so that the person frequently can have an huge advantage from the second res city production.(pretty much like point d)

f)Feeding BR, same stuff you can have a high br and feed someone easily by attacking his keep over and over with a few hobs. Thats the way to manipulate the BR tournament for an easy first place.

g) Feeding BR other way around, its a bit harder but you lower your BR ALOT before a BR tournament and then raise it again when it starts. First BR feeding is still more effcient.

I have the feeling I forgot something mmh.

Overall I like what is stated here. Silver heal, 24h move restriction, upcomming equipment and crafting, all fine =).

As I see it, silverheal will be costy. Both the gold healer and none gold healer will use it. (it’s not just one side) And it can lead to another deeper understanding of strategy and the battle system. Because the one who knows how to set up his troops correctly will outwin in heal times the one who just plainly not care and charge in.

Switching out damaged commanders is also a nice function in my eyes. But it still means a fight with 6 commanders after all. And like Digit stated no one is even close enough to fill them effective all for pvp battles. Sure you can send in your orc troops or fill 6lvl35 commanders with max militia, but that will bring you nothing. In my case, i only have troops for just 5! 5 effective battle formations for pvp. That is all. I lack troops on all end and even month ago i said you can never have enough troops, and so it is. Seeing how some players which started a few weeks ago or 1-2 month ago having already catched up on me troop wise, i dont think this is a concern at all. These players will have so much more filled up commanders with good troops they can use and also mostly spend their gold for heal, they will provide a good challange =).

For porting 24h is absolut perfect. And hopefull no buyable work around it. With that you can plan and setup defense strategies and out manoeuvre your enemies. No mindless moving around all day long over all realms. I really like it.

I think the thoughts on exploits/alts should be on top post too =). It is a serious issue after all and quit a few do it to exploit it for easy gains in tournaments or holding towers or weaken other with it. Or using them for res gain, easy exp and stuff like that. They arn’t allways in the same alliance like mentioned so sometimes it is hard to see.

What i am still most concerned is the community through. Flaming, raging, trashtalking, whitchhunts and stuff like that going on. Not on a normal scale but sadly to an extend of wanting to drive players out of the game. A few hot heated replies are normal, as all are humans and nobody likes to get attacked in most cases. But when stuff goes on over weeks, every day the same, and even what moderators and devs say are beeing ignored. Or devs/mods are colled liars then well, a bit more community management wouldn’t hurt.

I really looking forward to the crafting :3

I think it is a nice idea. It will definitly be usefull for players in the mid game maybe. Or for small skirmishes.

For the endgame and high tier fights it probably will not be that usefull. Because it will never be worth the time to produce the units again.
And you need to use good units and a good setup to actually win these battles then. Which makes this function at end game rather useless or even dangerous because it will weaken the player if he uses it.

It has good potential, it’s just hard to see for me where it is at the end game. Maybe the troop production time should be included into this somehow. So units which need longer to be produced and healed offer a much greater reduction overall?

I don’t know to which lvl 45 you talked about this podian but some stuff arn’t that right. Here a few facts to before and after.

before the patch:
-def Healing troops time halfed, no heal cost
-healing time is the time when you started it, regardless of any other attack comming after it.
So if you had half your troops dead, and started healing with lets say 1h heal time. And another attack came in, the heal time stayed on 1h. and didn’t increased.
-no automatic start of healing

after the patch: (now)
-def healing troops time halfed, no heal cost(no changes to before at all)
-healing time is refreshed everytime now when an attack happens, so attacker can attack your hero which is healing and then when the player wakes up he will still be in heal time. Because he allways has full heal time as soon as the shield goes off, and in most cases he defends only with a few troops(the part which is healed up).
-you can un-assign injured/healing defenders now if you are online.

The changes are made so that players now can use their armies if they come online again. And dont come online to just start the healing again. Developers allways wanted it that a defense is hard to take, which can be hard now when the player is online and the attacker does not teleport right next to him and instand attack.

For offline its still as easy as before and not much changes. If someone is visited frequently the chances are even high his units are healing when they come online. Overall most people like the change. I like it 50/50 I would say.

I mentioned it too. This is actually very abusive and hope they can find a good way to adjust the shields. Going directly for the heal time of the def isn’t the best sadly. Or else you could get generate extra long heal times on purpose with monster.
