And I think I may have found more shenanigans. I have a 4% stam vampire chance, but in an energy raid, I somehow vampired energy. I have no energy vamp gear at all.

Edit: Aha! I forgot about my seasteel sword! I do have that, but it’s not a part of my raiding set. Speculation time: perhaps it’s using the incorrect gear? Maybe not actually equipping my raid loadout when I click that “Equip” button?

Guys… Synapse isn’t going to do any of that. This game was a catastrophic failure. They dun goofed with it, and it’s not worth the effort to fix. That the server hasn’t been repurposed is the extent of the service they’re gonna do here. They’re especially not going to stop working on their sole genuinely active game to slap a coat of paint on this one. It’s quite literally take it as it is… or accept the loss and move on.

It’s just a poor design decision. Yes, they’re just neither interesting nor especially useful, especially those first island’s ones. Add to that the fact that there’s not even some special full clear bonus, it’s just kind of… well. Sloppy. Apathetic. Definitely phoned in.
