Pro Way Of Conquering
eventually your overhead will shoot up and you will have a huge cost. Also, range units could take on twice as many armor units and win, without a scratch. Range units fire 3 times as more as armor units, and first. Moar bullet = moar kills

Idea: Infinite Que
or an option that would say "Make X chassis with weapon X and upgrade X when resource cap is reached. Or maybe “Make (read above) Until I come back online” or “for 40 ticks”
That’d probably put an end to all the complaints about “15000? That’s nothing!!”

Conquest is conquering. Noob smashing is killing weaker people. The terms are not interchangeable. beating up the weak
this would not be a core mechanic.

conquest is what BD is about, not noob smashing. If you want that there are some very handy servers on the main battle dawn site that you can go onto, see how long you last against those donators.

well maybe they don’t leave after the badges and are encouraged to stay after seeing what a great game it is when they try to get badges. And if there are so many boosters and failures then how come there are so many people in the top 100? 100 to be exact?

For all gate beginners out there:
1. Take a squad e.g. squad 5, and park it on the gate in question. (If you have the gate building then your colony counts as a gate)
2. Select squad 5.
3. Click on another gate under your alliance’s control. It should now be about to launch to that gate. DO NOT launch it.
4. Click warp to gate.
5. Send me all your resources and tokens (optional)

Update: Still Bugs, Quitting
Frankly, flaming and trolling at the game won’t do anything. Sometimes they do things to the game that people don’t like but are necessary. e.g. the resource cap. Just up your cap limit using tokens, it stops the top players from being too overpowered. If you don’t like that, well, submit a formal complaint to Andrew and stop trolling, you might actually get something done.

This is a board for discussing the topic at hand. Messing up the game does not count as taking away colony names (simpler in my opinion) and decreasing wreck spawn rate (overpowered in my opinion) or “removed” vacation (annoying, but so no-one abuses it.)

well why not add just a bit of depth and some hints and amendments to the tutorial?
Also Dzonis, slandering the admins (who ADMINistrate the game, coding is up to the coders) doesn’t really accomplish anything. And how does it eff up the game?

Maybe Battle Dawn could have advantages to the terrain?
For example oil and metal OPs would be more beneficial in certain areas e.g. Middle East and North America respectively.
Maybe not just that but maybe you can’t see troop movements on the other side of a mountain if you have no radar on that side!
Maybe OPs and colonies in desert areas would have less growth but more easily defended and green areas would have no pros or cons. Mountains would be easily defended and give better sight but much less fertile, to name a few terrains.
It already happens to a lesser degree in Fantasy worlds, with mines only in mountains and lumber camps only in forests, why not expand it?

the world economy fluctuates all the time so why not a model based off of it?
Also, the conversion center is much more inefficient and what if you want to profit off of trading? Maybe your alliance is in difficult times? Just some injections now and then would be fine, from time to time. I can’t imagine it would be that difficult to manage if there are some simple interfaces. Just the net amount of metal and oil and a ratio between the two and the option to add metal or oil for the admin?
Then again, I have no experience in this.
