I got one bone key.. opened the portal, ran it for a day… wasn’t really impressed… but that was me. I am currently doing the lair of the dragons portal, though I clearly see I should have done this levels ago.. didn’t realize the staff and crap were so damn expensive…

See, I had that problem earlier. One set of gear I wanted to get, was the Bone set (the set Skull Belt is part of). However, one can only get that from Boss fights. Still haven’t found any pieces of it…..

Also, as a PvE player, I also see a power differental from a PVPer and myself. Im using Crimson Decapitator, because that, or the Katana Chainsaw, were the two best physical weapons…. and one required badges, the other VP. So I grinded a few levels in PVP to afford it.

I think they should up the drop rates alittle for the PVE equipment…. maybe even the PVB. I mean, there is a drop increase for Avatar Wars, and as someone said, their is also a exp upgrade, and there is never a chance of NOT fighting. I think Blood Rubies should have no miss chance.. not just Diamonds.

I am a bit sad at that as well… I an a PvE player, but it seems I have to pvb or pvp to keep up in the whole level thing.

I understood that as well, and I am level 54 now, almost 55…. and I remember just buying one weapon with some credits…. But, I understand the frustration. I found it kinda dumb, because by the time you get the items your looking for, they are already oudated. I wanted to get the full Skull set… but alas, I fought several of the bosses, and never found a single item other then the belt. After level 20, I figured it would suck with what I had and gave up.. same with the Dark wood stuff.

Some of the item sets now, have pieces that you need to be certain levels for to get certain benefits.. like the one I am using now… one item needs level 64, another 54, most were in the 40’s, but one item is level 94. So I will never be able to use that full set bonus.

Why can’t all scrolls/items/WoC be traded? Would it be that unbalancing for the game, if I could trade Lamb to the Slaughter Scrolls, or WoC Warg?

I understand that, but for someone who has the full set, they should get more bonuses… Maybe saying the glyph was worthless wa the wrong way to put it, I just meant once you have 3 items, have 4 or 5 dosn’t add any more…. that was all I was suggesting. Adding more bonuses for having more pieces of the equipment.

I think Blood Rubys should up the drop rate alittle as well as eleminate common from the grouping…. and isn’t the conversion ration 100 to 1 right now? I think 10:1 wouldn’t be such an exploit… Its not like I can convert Sapphires to Diamonds or anything. But, I don’t make the game, I just play it.

But adding a bit of a drop rate to Rubys would be nice…. and a bigger one to sapphires, and I know diamonds have one, but up it some. It is a pain trying to get crafting items….

I am level 20, but there is something I have come to realize with the set equipment (or at least all the ones I have seen).

While the items themselves are decent, only three give the special ‘set’ powers. So for things like the Ancients in the Dark Forest, the glyph (far as I can tell) is worthless, soon as I have any other three items.

I would suggest for large sets (that, the Skeleton one, ect), for there to be more bonus things for the more items you have.. fitting with the theme. Like… for Ancients…. Have 4 items grant you.. redemption, 5 grant you.. something.. I don’t know all the procs and stuff, but since there is six items in the set, why can’t I get bonuses for having them all?

Not that I do.. I only just got my second piece, but still, just a suggestion.

My guess is that they didn’t net VP points?? Though I will admit I have checked a few times as well, and won some pvp defense, and had it not regester on the its a trap quest…

As for the weapons, I wouldn’t mind a ‘sell back’ option for things I don’t use anymore.

Trying to figure out a good optimization…

I am level 15, with a level 4 armor (chainmail) and the Remorse 2 proc on it, and a Lifedrinker/stealer. I also have a raven helm, Grips of Darkness, and a regular belt.
I can go to the woods, and fight there… or stay in the graveyard and fight there.

Question is.. should I try to get the bone armor pieces (by harvesting bosses), or move on, and try to craft some stuff in the Dark Wood? (once i find the merchant). Or should I try to harvest 2 unholy essence, and finish the Emrbace of Darkness set? (having little luck with that though..)
