I honestly think the results would be different if he was fighting hummingbird-man hybrid. Those things are vicious, the law won’t even allow them in the ring I believe. Milk Man might be a pretty strong contender too.

By the way, I was reading through the roleplay, and did anyone even pick up if there was a plan on what to do once we get to shore. I’ve read through it multiple times, and I don’t think I’ve heard any bit about what we do once we land (or if we land considering the situation we’re currently in).

Edit: Nevermind, just re-read through it and there’s a facility somewhere ten miles from a village. Well assuming no one dies, at least this incident will be a good test of teamwork as we’ll finally get to see each others powers instead of hiding them from each other. Maybe.

Indeed, that would be interesting. Kind of like were-wolves, but instead of transforming when they are exposed to the moon, they instead transform when they’re in the presence of injustice? Or beer.

Well. By the looks of it, the battles are;

  • Count Dorkula v.s Captain Murasa (?)
  • Captain Murasa v.s Heart of Glass
  • Babatunde v.s TBA

(?) Meaning not confirmed.

Because of a misunderstanding Count Dorkula thinks the enemy our group is fighting is manipulating water since his minions were immediately destroyed when he first animated his minions to kill civilians to sow chaos into the battlefield since he heard the gunshot, but never found out what was happening. Plus being on the lower floors and hearing waves being smashed into the ship doesn’t help with the misunderstanding.

Murasa just saw my minions kill people and hit them with water insta-killing them to protect the civilians. I never told Murasa what I was doing so the misunderstanding happened.

Edit: Plus since we’re on a boat, it’d make sense to suspect our enemies would send a enemy whose ammo is surrounding us to take us out.

Count Dorkula v.s Civilians may be a proper battle, and I think everyone except Washington, Trassel, and Dorkula are fighting Glass.

Not sure what the Prince, Volston, or Sassyghoul are doing or if they’re even fighting.

That costume looks so awesome. Maybe a few limbs supported by wires in the back, but I’d love to have that costume. Googly eyes. >.<

I kind of think their wings resemble them holding holding capes (maybe cuz the flappy membrane looks unnatural compared to the other aspects of the body). In all honesty, if I didn’t make a guy that resembled a vampire, I probably would have made my character a crazy spider cultist and I might have referred to myself as a spider man, although I really dislike the Marvel Spiderman.

Normally bats don’t have capes, but bat owners sometimes put capes on them for the giggles.

Edit: Well depending on the species of bat, the nose also looks out of place.

Vampires don’t exist so the closest thing I could do was a bat man since he has fangs, capes, and looks evil. I see, I never knew that people tried to avoid saying that.

Sorry. I just thought it would be appropriate to get airborne troops, and bats are pretty intimidating if they come at you in a swarm.

Count Dorkula

Unable to sense magic or life, the Count made his way to the lowest floor of the ship devouring nearly all flesh in his way relying on the sense of smells the ruby rodents possessed to forcibly recruit the passengers into his army. While being unable to sense life was inconvenient, mages rarely used magic to remove their scent which they frequently did to their aura.

He did feel a lot of remorse for what he did as he saw the innocents, children, and the poor screaming as the rats tore their way through, however just by being on the ship, they could be potential spies, and if they weren’t they would have seen too much putting the entirety of Britain at jeopardy if whatever weapon the German was making would fire off at it because they reported the events that happened on the ship. The slip of a lip sinks a ship, and the Count had no intention of leaving witnesses.

What struck the Count most was a stowaway in the cargo hold who told him he was hiding down there because he couldn’t pay for the voyage and he was visiting his sick mother in Germany, and while the Count would have loved to help him steal a free trip from the rich owner of the cruise, he had to end him for the sake of the mission. Perhaps he had become as bad as the walnuts that killed his family, and perhaps his crusade against the rich was actually hurting the poor.

In the cargo hold however, the Count and smashed as many barrels of wine as he found. What a waste of expensive liquor, but he was sure he could paint with wine too, and he’d certainly forgot to add bats into his army. What’s a bat man without bats, and why should he have bats when he could have flammable ethanol bats.

Making his way up to join the fray, Count Dorkula realized one problem, he destroyed the only exit available to make his way to the main hall and neither he nor his rats could pass. Still, it wasn’t a good idea sending his swarms out of a hallway to meet the water mage who could blast the swarm as they came out of a narrow passage. It was wiser to make the mage come to him. So on the second floor, his mist absorbed a small portion of that rats, and the count painted multiple bloody lines on the roof below the main hall which was banging with stamping feet along with the sound of shattering glass. To further add to the counts curiosity, there were shards of glass sticking out of parts of the roof he painted, some of them bloody.

Splitting his forces into two legions, one at each end of the boats, the Count waited with one legion of pesky rodents as he animated the lines on the roof into cracks. Now all he had to do was wait for the weight of those above to shatter the roof and for both armies of rodents to converge on anyone who wasn’t an immediate ally. Pulling out his remaining inky musket, he prepared to fire at whoever seemed to be the biggest problem, and prepared his paintbrush club as a backup if the musket didn’t kill the biggest threat. His rapiers would be useless against a foe that manipulated water.

Thank you for the clarification. It just seems all the mages Mrs. Applebottom hired have that conditions animals have that makes them unable to tell the difference between a reflection and another being.

Count Dorkula

(Since I slipped into the hallways away from the main arena and destroyed the floor to escape, I’m assuming the mirror didn’t create a doppelganger of me)

Crash after crash rang in the arena where the Count had slipped away from. Something was striking the ship with great force, likely the water user from earlier channeling the ocean and striking the ship. The Count was never a zealous advocate of a fair fight, and at this point it was best to treat everyone not with him in this mission as an enemy.

Finding a few panicking civilians, the Count pulled out his rapier and struck them down in cold blood. Dipping his brush in the blood, and scribbling on the wall for a few seconds, his scarlet mist familiar pulled itself out of the wall, and started siphoning blood from the corpses only to bloat and explode into blots of blood in the hallway before returning to a slightly red ball of red mist. These blots in turn pulled themselves into the silhouettes of rats.

Everyone could potentially be a spy, and anyone who wasn’t a spy could have their blood converted to his rats. The Count descended through the hallway accompanied by an ever growing swarm of rats who would swarm and eat anyone in their paths creating a larger hoard with every victim. The rats could also detect the odor of those cowering in what they believe to be the safety of their rooms. Even many ability users wouldn’t be able to match take on an entire hoard of rats, especially when the sight of such descending upon them would lead many to panic, however as an added precaution to further intimidate anyone who stayed confident, the Count dissipated his suit and strolled down the halls in his frilly-man-bikini.

Only once everyone in the guest rooms was dead would the Count be confident to bring his hoard into the deck to fight the water user that had annihilated his army earlier.

(Sorry Mar12345, I thought indiscriminate slaughter would have been the best course of action given my characters paranoia and perspective on the situation.)

Count Dorkula

He felt all of his creations suddenly disappear. It seems someone in the crowd, possibly an enemy had control over water, or else his creations wouldn’t have been destroyed so quickly and all at the same time. Well, so long as whoever wiped out his creations was still on the deck, it was pointless to waste anymore ink.

He still three rapiers and a musket painted on himself, so he was still armed, but to ensure his safety as whoever wiped out his lifeforms is likely looking for the source of creatures to ensure he wouldn’t spawn anything else, The Count took to roaming the hallways. He might find something useful.

Count Dorkula

After hearing a gunshot, and watching Captain Murasa rush to the sound, Count Dorkula decided that it would be best to follow her since there was safety in numbers, and if she’s going to be involved, the others would also likely be involved. However as far as Count Dorkula could tell, only one of their numbers besides himself used a gun in combat.

Outside, a crowd of people was rushing towards the top of the ship. They weren’t making an evacuation or else they would be heading to lifeboats. This wasn’t normal and one of his allies may have been in trouble. Quite a few of his paintings were left on the main deck, and the Count decided it may be best to act first and found out what happened later.

Stepping back into the Hallways, he drew a large circle in the floor before animating it into a crack which he stomped on with one foot causing the crack in the floor to shatter and smash onto whatever was unfortunate enough to be below. Whatever was going on won’t be able to reach him now. Now, he began to animate his paintings on the main deck. Since his original intentions for the portraits was to act as assassins, the paintings of two dozens of doppelgangers crawled out of the painting with claws for hands. His other paintings that he created to sell including a handful dogs and a painting of six soldiers also began to step out of their flat prisons.

However since there were too many people on the deck and he could not directly see the action in the hallway where he was safe, he gave his creations one order: attack everything they see regardless if they’re friendly, hostile, or neutral. His paintings could be overpowered by the crowd, however killing the civilians may buy his allies a window of opportunity should they be involved.

Topic: Kongregate / Summer '15 suggestion thread

I’ve posted this in the Kongpanions thread already, but I’ll post it here so it could be considered.

One possibility to reintroduce Kongpanions is to assign them to a game like a permanent challenge so long as the Kongpanion has something to do with the game. Like with Kongai, these Kongpanions really don’t have much of a presence since they usually have nothing to do with the game you earn it from.

However let’s say you could get the yeti Kongpanion from freeing the yeti in the cave in Kingdom Rush, or the bear Kongpanion from Burrito Bison after crushing X amount of bears. The pizza/burger/burrito Kongpanion could be assigned to Papa’s Foodstufferia games. Since there’s a wide diversity of games, and Kongpanions, a lot of games may be relevant to the Kongpanions. While they still have nothing to do with the games themselves, they’d be able to become more easily accessible to players and they’d have the benefit of promoting old games that may have been forgotten as well as being a token of your accomplishment.

I’m not sure how to link it since each time I make a link to it I get onto the 84th page, but I made a few potential arguments why this system could be beneficial on the last post on page 83.

That’s a relief. We’re probably going to be at a severe disadvantage in the current situation, but at least those two will still be able to help.

How about instead of a +1 you have an Exceptionally Lesser Cape of Aura Scrambling. We all know how exceptionally cheesy that’ll be.

If something like that is uber difficult to get qwertyuiopazs might be interested in proposing similar alternatives like a aura scrambler that doesn’t hide or disguise his aura, but randomly scatters his aura about. Or an aura jammer that lets people know there’s something there, they just can’t read the aura.

As for faking an aura, there may be stuff like mana sponges that you can imbue it with other peoples mana and it’ll display a different individual.

Count Dorkula

After witnessing a crowd of people gathering near the food tables, and Captain Murasa slipping out with a crowd of onlookers watching her, Count Dorkula decided to abandon his art stand and tail her. It didn’t matter if he didn’t take his paintings with him as any thieves who stole his paintings would merely help him distribute his paintings across the ship.

Because of the chaotic events at the hotel, he never got a chance to have her enchant his pouches, and he’d certainly find bottomless bags to be a useful addition as he wouldn’t have lost so many of his souvenirs that he collected at the hotel as taking them would have slowed down the evacuation. All he had left now was the fancy key inscribed with 303.

Still, the Count felt a nagging suspicion. Germany was relatively close to Britain and on a two day ship ride, it would be enough time to eliminate all the agents on the ship if there were enemy agents. It was just too quiet and things were coming along perfectly, and how well the operation was going made something feel off. No heist was perfect, and especially not a government one. The ship wasn’t intercepted by any warships, and without a doubt there would definitely be German spies who saw the hotel burn and a group of misfits walking together to a ship.

After he gets his pouches enchanted by Murasa should she choose to aid him, the Counts next plan was to murder a civilian and take their room keys in fear his own room was booby trapped. There was no reason to be suspicious yet, but the spirit of paranoia is the greatest guardian angel.

Edit:
[In the event that I’m stopped by Captain Murasa and she questions why I’m following her, my response is as followed]

“My good captain, I am interested in your intriguing ability. You see, my powers require ink and storage space to activate, so I was wondering if you would be so kind as to enchant these two pouches.” On cue, the Count pulled out two small pouches, one containing various ink vials and the other containing his hotel room key, his ship room key, and a roll of cash.

Not only that, but R2 also has an activity related character deletion in Crystal Saga, and they have this policy where if you don’t get on your character in this many months (I forget the number, but I think it was either three or six) they would delete your character, so it’s unlikely they would restore your character if they already have a policy in place to delete them.
