Topic: General Gaming / What type of game do you want?

Nice dog avi, it’s so cute.

I know it’s probably not what you’re looking for, but I’d like to see more short games. Maybe flash games just aren’t as magical as I used to see them, however I feel like flash games are getting longer and longer, and not usually in a good way. They just feel more grindy, where you get money, use money to get stronger, get money faster, and the cycle repeats.

I’d like more of those ten minute games with no upgrades, and you only get better because you develop as a player, not because you sat down and grinded for an hour.

Thematically, I’d enjoy parody games such as Abobo’s Big Adventure which parodies pretty much every single NES game or some game that pokes fun at established norms like toss the catapult instead being tossed by it or a modern RPG game in the corporate world with classes like blue collar worker, CEO, self employed, etc.

I do enjoy games that can’t take itself seriously, and regularly goes Koolaid Man on the fourth wall.

Ah, ok. I apologize for the misunderstanding

Anyways stay safe, and don’t feel bad about not posting. It’s a fairly slow laid back RP anyways, and most responses usually take a day or two anyways. That and real life is more important anyways.

It’s a him. Dorkula was cursed to wear a man-bikini that he cannot take off without killing himself. It is embedded into his skin.

Hey cat, what can Connor say to persuade Dorkula that hes the real deal? Or am I going to have to tell him about the train incident?

Well Dorkula is paranoid, but analytical. However remember, you’re in public, in a tourist center where there will likely be a lot of ears, and loose lips could lead to my demise, and you being sealed in something like magic Carbonite by the Germans.

I guess any information that a spy wouldn’t bother to get their hands on and learn or believe it has any use towards the mission. I mean a German spy would know about the party, and telling Dorkula about the train would probably make him seem more suspicious as Dorkula believes German spies are everywhere, and Dorkula would interpret it as ‘Muahahaha, your friends are in trouble right now, and there’s nothing you can do to help them, muahahaha.’

What a spy wouldn’t bother to learn, but Connor might have heard from Applebottom are things about Dorkula like Dorkula wears a permanent super omega ultra frilly pink polk-a-dot man-bikini under his outfit or that Dorkula refers to and thinks Applebottom is a elf/dwarf/fairy/balrog in disguise.

Topic: Kongregate / Why does kongregate support MURDERING ANIMALS?

Well, there is the possibility that the burger and hot dog meat came from animals that died naturally or from diseases.

Also I don’t think Kong supports murdering animals. A group of CROWs is called a murder. Grouping CROWs would be murdering CROWs. We only have one CROW Kongpanion and there are no one CROW murders just like how there are no one wolf wolf pack. CROWs are animals, and Kong won’t murder CROWs. Thus Kong doesn’t support murdering animals.

Discuss how Kongregate hates CROWs.

I think it was parsed, and the people inside started drowning and screaming for help before a knife got tossed at you.

So a bunch of corpses and the potential killer most likely.

(Sorry, I got to fib. Dorkula is supposed to be overly paranoid.)

Count Dorkula

Damn! Someone recognized him in his German officer attire, and knows the bloody elf? The Germans must have intel and rats strewn throughout the organization. At this moment, without his allies and stranded in the heart of the German territory, Dorkula definitely needed to get out fast, and cover his track.

“I believe you have mistaken me for someone else, sir. I am Friedrich Hartmann, officer of the third armed division, Mr. McDowell. I apologize for getting in your way, I was gathering these pamplets for a friend who is coming to tour our fine city. But a Count in this city? I guess our annual festival is more famous than I thought.”

Murasa might be in two or three. I don’t think she’s in one.

The reasons is that she flooded the car in front of her, and people screamed before a knife lunged at her. Everyone in car one is dead before the announcement meaning no one could scream in fear of being flooded.

Murasa then lunged into the room after flooding it meaning she entered a room that previously had living people, but it was also close to the front since the killer could throw a knife at her, unless the killer could teleport or move quickly through the carts.

Edit:
Since someone shouted “we’re being flooded,” I’d assume it’s likely to be a passenger car or a service car as there usually aren’t a lot of maintenance workers per train. Really saves on the cost, you know?

If it’s the food cart, there would be a lot of people to warrant using ‘we,’ and the killer tossed a knife. It’ll be easier for the killer to blend into the crowd if it’s somewhere crowded like a food cart. Plus, no one would suspect someone of being a killer for having a knife in a place involving food as knives are a normal eating utensil.

Indeed, a vampire RP would have to pretty much describe what is, and what isn’t a vampire. For example, in the Nasuverse which has one of the best fictional vampire lore, anything that consumes a large amount blood is a vampire including a sentient forest that a war broke out in, and enough blood was spilled that it turned the forest into a ‘vampiric being.’

Jiangshi vampires can pretty much ignore gravity among other laws of physics, so that’s also pretty difficult to balance.

Anyways, a vampire RP isn’t bad, but vampires are pretty powerful, and a group of vampires would warrant some incredibly powerful obstacles like Lovecraftian horrors.

Immortality may be somewhat balanced since McDowell doesn’t have any other ridiculous abilities. Meaning if someone traps him under rubble or sticks him in an enclosed box, he can still be permanently defeated as he doesn’t have super strength to escape. Plus even if he can’t die, he can’t do as much damage as other players since he has none of that crazy elemental bending, super speed, creation magic.

It may be pretty difficult to come up with a vampire RP, and it’ll take a lot of planning to make one. I mean the GM would have to figure out limitations. I mean vampires are pretty powerful so if it’s a vampire slaying thing, the GM would have to figure out how to give the humans enough of an advantage to kill them. Plus there’s a lot of different vampires, and the GM may need to take into account vampire species, and research obscure vampire lore for weaknesses, strengths, and behaviors.

Also since vampires are generally afraid of light and can’t pass still water, players can remain invulnerable by standing in a patch of light while surrounding themselves with a moat of still water to ward of vampires.

I don’t think you need to murder a cow to get its cheese. Also the burger says it’s vegan so it might be one of those fake tofu patties.

[I was hoping to avoid to avoid playing this game for a while since right now anything I do will probably cause unwanted attention, but might as well do something to keep the game alive.]

Count Dorkula

Leaving his hotel room, and gathering information on the cityscape from the hotel clerk, Dorkula made his way to a nearby tourist center. Dorkula could have tried gambling for information (using his clothings as collateral of course), but that would have caused unwanted whispers to go around about rat snooping about. It would be far easier to get information while posing as a off duty soldier touring the homeland.

Dorkula made his through the center snatching one copy of every last free tourist brochure he could get his hands on in the center. Even if he didn’t plan to tour the city, the brochure would likely help him find clues on where the laboratory would be hidden in the city.

Well, people like cheap workers, and all walruses need to be paid in is with fish and buckets. They don’t need hard bills or health insurance. Great workers overall. Did I mention, that adult walruses are super competitive and have been known to dominate others? It’s the perfect mentality for the corporate world.

Topic: Kongregate / Petition: Allow name changes

There have been arguments that Kongregate doesn’t have the resource available to change names. Anyways, I’m going back to my kred idea again for maybe a 100 kred name change.

If I recall correctly, I’ve read somewhere that when Kong makes a kred sale, and that kred is spent in a game, Kong only keeps 10-20% as a middleman fee, and the rest goes to the devs of the game. It would indeed take effort to change the system, however does the system need to be changed? I mean, I doubt there’ll be an overwhelming tide of requests, and if there is, will Kong say no to a tidal wave of $10? I do think the admins might think changing names is less work if a ten dollar bill was shoved into their face each time they changed a name. For free, I’d think moving a chair across the room is a lot of work. Not so much if someone pays me.

I doubt people will go wild with asking for name changes as there is a monetary fee involved so it can still be a manual thing, and only the few people who are serious about changing their name will have it changed. Also if it’s a $10 sale that goes directly to Kong, it would be equivalent in profit to a $50-100 kred sale for a game.

Will multiplayer games break? Probably, however Kong can just leave multiple warnings before someone is able to change their name to make sure that that person knows that they will lose their multiplayer data. Heck if need be, maybe even add in the requirement that someone must type something along the lines of “I agree to risk losing my multiplayer data” before their names can be changed.
