Topic: Epic War Saga / How do you know if you're about to cheat?

Needs a better translator – that basically says “If you don’t cheat we will reset your profile. If you do, we will reset your profile”. Maybe the cheat is to fill a hovercraft with eels.

By that I mean it isn’t draft ONLY. I have two, and I’ve not played a draft on this account yet.

First off, Goblin Ambusher isn’t draft – but you might have to shell out for a DC only pack to get it otherwise (I think mine came from a Mystery or a Diamond when they were on special).

Z2 and Z3 both have their Demonic Spiders that seem to exist only to annoy you and waste your energy. The Z3 mages are irritating but can be planned against, the real cheap enemies in Z3 are the Blood Wolves. 4-5 Acid Flasks per deck? That interrupt your attack to deal damage back to you? Sure, you can try to chip away health but you will still curse them as over and over they take enough damage to kill them but bounce it back to you and kill you first.

As for Plague Demons, it’s all luck based. They only proc on a play, not a deplete, so try to bring out your Torments and high damage cards ASAP, stop them being played and don’t get bogged down. Personally, I’m surprised that the PD effect isn’t procced on damage rather than playing, as so many other cards require damage to actually get through to have a secondary effect.

From the glossary – “Absorption cannot prevent damage that was not dealt during the Action phase”. So technically it doesn’t matter whether it’s weapon damage, magic damage or hitting you with a potato damage, it still bypasses absorption if it was triggered by depleting a card. As long as you have a couple of natural absorb points their attacks won’t do much so just focus on knocking them down as much as possible and having a couple of heals in case it gets close.
