Eh eh, top 80 may not be a starting city, but it is a village if you take into account the huge gap there is between a top 10 and a top 80. Besides, if average fame is the criteria, that would mean that top 10 city has an average fame of about 75? Somehow, I doubt that ; )

Topic: Prime World: Defenders / This game contains little to no strategy.

All you need to beat any level is T3 Dragon and Mortar. Both you get quite early (lvl 35-40ish?). Then you may, if you wish, breeze through the game. Over.

So please stop the crying. This is not a pay-to-win: this is a grind-to-get-all-superfluous-supertowers, namely Sun and Lightning (or pay if you can’t wait).

And Dasquian, all you show by mocking paying players (‘whatever people call people like you these days’ WTF), is your envy.

But yes, the game lacks a balanced difficulty curve, or more content?

For PvP to be ‘fair’, a number of factors would need to be taken into account: city pop, number of townsmembers and at least the average level, the average wealth, the average shop module number, the average value of the items in stock and the activity of the townsmembers…

Because, well, a 400k pop city may be the home of only 3 inactive fame-60 players, or a 100k city may be overcrowded with junky-class fame-100+ players, or who’s telling me that that lame-looking fame-60 player isn’t in fact a super city-hopper trader (untraceable unless with shop modules, since world/city trade is unaccounted for in terms of lifetime sales and contribution rate, and you don’t gain XP) with more wealth and items than I can dream of? etc.

There is also a urgent need (if we have ‘fairness’ in mind) a way to restrict city-hopping, because, well, you can call all your best pals for the time of a tight war, you can also buy mercenaries (via the trading system for instance) to help you..

Regarding the availability of your ‘best match’ (if there is such a thing), there is no need to make all wars start at the same time. Anyone who has played a MMO with team/faction/guild PvPs (Tyrant, DotD, etc.) knows how this work: wars are tactical (you attack the opponent faction against which you have the best chances to win with the best reward possible), and rewards for a win depend on opponent ranking in PvP war.

For this, detailed rankings are necessary (and not the top ten only, I’ve wanted full ranking for a long time, for players and cities).

Not true. Farming hard levels only certain Uniques have a probabilty to show up. As for the Boosters ALL uniques are possible even as soon as the store is available. That includeds Speels, Towers AND Artifacts. Before my Reset at level 40ish I had maxed out all but Lightning and Sun Of which I had only 1 Sun and 1 T2 Lightning. That is after Farming Forester till I had P3 Dragon, Mortar, Puncher, Ice and Detector, as well as spending 200-300 stars on Unique boosters.

Well, not necessarily true for 20-star Unique chests then (I have yet to see a Sun in a chest though). But most probably true for hard runs, i.e. drops are level-based.

E.g. you’ll probably never even see a Lightning or Prime Tower before level 45 or so. I’m currently level 50 and I have yet to see a Sun Tower or a Sharpshooter.

Topic: Prime World: Defenders / So, when should I finally beat the Forester boss?

Got my first Spray and Lightning Towers while farming hard level 11 / personal level 40+ (I have yet to see the shadow of a Prime Gun, Sun Tower or Sharpshooter). Had the time to max out Dragon, Ice and Energy Towers to lvl25.

You can’t get everything on the Forester level, that’s for sure. Your own level probably comes into the equation.

20-star unique packages usually give crap (spells and artifacts) but it’s still the best thing to spend stars on.

The greatness of this game is really ruined by mindless grinding : (

Somehow, nevetheless, I can’t bring myself to getting excited about this update. So many hardcore/longtime players lost interest and/or quit during your 6-month silence that the perspective of what seems like an half-assed update can’t really make me (and I’m not the only one I suppose) wish for it to happen.

And, really? you weren’t going to reset the Conquest map? and no bug fix?

Hello Devs,
The lack of communication is a concern.
Too many PvP Events in a row. No one’s a fool: this is the least work-demanding (slopiness was at its peak during the previous one). I don’t even particularly enjoy those PvP Events. If you are out of ideas I’m sure there are plenty around here.
I’m sure all Tyrant players wish that Tyrant is not some easily thrown away testing ground for TU (which I’ll never play, btw).
More and more high-end, paying players are getting worried.
You’ll have to do a lot more to show us you are still with us.
Or if you aren’t, you own your funders an explanation.
