+1. Abot was made out of Dcon/OL/Tcon to make the game more competitive, hence more interesting. A community of players having fun and helping each other, common chats and all, and no more free wins either way.

Well, one war per day fell always exactly during my work hours, so I am glad wars are now 12h instead of 8 (you must mean 7h30min, btw, bc we can’t fight during the ‘Searching…’ phase).

Topic: Global Assault: General / [Dev] Gauntlet Crush Has Begun!

Something is really missing to make Gauntlet an interesting event (novelty aside, 3 gauntlets ago).

The first 70 battles (70 battles! imagine the time it takes, even on auto!) are just plain boring.
The next 20 battles are just annoying, depending on drop luck only.
And the rewards are insignificant (as always).

I have completely lost interest in that event.

One thing is certain, those Two-T7s crates have the worst drop rate. Haven’t got even one T7 from those since they introduced them. Appalling, really. 60VC for 50 scrap is extremely expensive (not mentioning 5k VC and counting without any T7 drop). Best thing to ruin the game, by discouraging spenders. Done with those for sure. Someone in the US sue them to knock sense into the team and display those (varying) odds.

Apart for the very first battles (see above), I found that MM was, at least for me, more gradual and, in that meaning, better balanced. I say good job.

On the other hand, there were missing bounties and, in my case, a very annoying ‘You must chose a valid target’ bug that swallowed one bounty (vanished from the map after clicking and opening the battlefield). And no reply from tickets. (Please don’t put bug-prone events, that is all events, on weekends when no support is available…)

As mentioned, we said that we added a handicap so players would start with easier bounties in the beginning. We’re looking into the double bounty issue.

How is that a handicap to have several times the same target?
Shouldn’t it be somehow proportional to your own SP?

I understand you guys wanted to showcase paid units by clashing F2P vs opponents that had a far higher SP after a couple of fights, before — which just made fights impossible, hence the neverending complains since Bounty Hunter was created.

But making almost everyone start with the same bounties…?

They’re most likely not players, but follow some Gauntlet formula.

So should we infer that the matching formula was never fixed, that those gauntlet-like mock-bounties were put up for the first day only, and that we’ll find the old bounty matching system tomorrow?

Also, it would make best sense to allow fusion of T6 from upgraded T5s.

E.g., to make it possible to fuse quad Myrmidon with quad Osprey into a quad Cruiser for 4 times the amount of Cores.

Suggesting that 7 hours for a GW is a bit short and can be trying, even forcing people to quit.

People work, people sleep, more than 7 hours in a row.

One GW per day would be great, IMHO, it would allow everyone to hit at their own pace.

Those flat 10 dmg to any raid battle, supposedly to fix an exploit (which one?) that allows ppl to hit many times (how many?) and without damage, are unacceptable.

10 dmg is more than I take in average on any SF mob. 0 more often than not.
In Dcon, AV or DP are usually down within 5-10 minutes of their respawn, with just a few people hitting.

Are we talking about SF bosses? you were elusive about that. Are you saying that a very small minority of people hit Magnus numerous times in a row for 0 dmg and you don’t know how they do it? If that’s the case why add 10 dmg for mobs? It makes no sense to me.

Please explain, as this is really unfair for the vast majority of players.

So, nothing was done. Great.

The devs really have to think before implementing something that is supposed to be a sorry-for-the-‘bug’ reward (20 free scans) but turns out to be a punitive treatment for some players (at any time, some of us are obviously not online = stocking scans, and since there is the 10-h cap, every scan after the 20th is lost). Those off-line for about 10 hours actually lost 20 scans. And nothing was done at all. Not even a word.

Not cool at all.
