I’m with you there, mate. Whenever I see people pulling fancy invincible purple cards out of their deck it makes me rage a little inside. New cards should not make old cards obsolete, but that’s what the game is doing.

What happened: Played peacekeeper, he played hatchet. I play plague duster (it’s a tournament. Don’t judge me.), his hatchet kills my plague duster. Then my peacekeeper moves over one, and the card there ignores it and hits my commander directly. Keep playing, and I get devastated. Fun, I know. To make up for it, it gave me four cards to draw?

Joltrek sounds suicidal. Should be an uncommon.

Topic: Cloudstone / Some Gripes/Suggestions

It’s a pretty good game overall, very nice cartoony graphics. However, there are some points where I find the game to be lacking.

1. Autoattack. Please, when being hit by creep, let the character automatically hit back instead of standing there like an idiot.
2. Equipment taking bag space. Really? I’m wearing it. IT SHOULDN’T TAKE UP A SLOT.
3. Energy regeneration. It’s. Just. So. Slow. Please, at a faster pace.
4. Skill Tree. It’s somewhat… lacking, unoriginal, and uncreative. Also, some more classes would be nice, especially ones that require you to choose two specs at once (like 10 points in wizard and 10 in warrior to get battle mage or something like that)

anti-tank

Primary weapon: a magnetically powered grenade launcher on rails. (like a amped up railgun) when fired, the magnet pushes the rail with the grenade on top. At the end of the firing tube, the rocket shoots out punching a hole in the side of a vehicle. The rail will also fly out and smack any people in the line of sight.

Secondary weapon: a short ranged smg.

Special ability: artillery barrage. Calls in artillery to fire randomly in a location for about 10 seconds. Long cooldown.

Extra: Anti-tanks are not equiped with grenades, but with 6 C4 packs. If directly beside a vehicle, you can press “f” and you will place C4 on the vehicle. If not near a vehicle, you can press “f” and you will throw the C4 pack on the groun in front of you.

Press “g” and all of the C4 blows up immediately.

I don’t like the C4 idea. That would lead to major spawn trapping, with entire teams of anti-tankers C4ing the enemy spawn points.

The thing is, auto aim is optional. If you choose not to use it, you get a higher dps. If you do, you have better accuracy. That way pros can do more damage and newbs can hit something. I think its a good compromise. If you add a mode that doesn’t have auto-aim, I think that might spread people out over too many games.

Just now, there were a gay amount of techs in the CP with a crazy high amount of turrets. Our team just suited up into tanks, shielded and cleaned them out. They respawned, we cleared them and their pathetic T1 supressors out again. They finally knocked us out because we had our shields on cool down, then we cleared them out again. Tanks beat techs, just go for the techs and not the turrets.

Saboteur:
The Concept: A unit which does very little damage, but is useful in disrupting enemy plans. Some ideas that I thought would be fitting was damage over time and disruptions, of course.
Primary Weapon: Nanite Pulse. This attack hits the opponent with a damage over time spell, thus preventing the shields from regenerating. Also affects suppressors and such. A possibility to balance this is to make it non-lethal. (Enemy has 1hp instead of dying)
Secondary: Phase Disruptor. Disrupts channeling, deals moderate damage. For example, if the tech is healing, he stops healing. If an opponent is flying, he stops flying. He has to click again to resume his action. This could also be a short silence, it’s your call if you use it.
Q Ability: Short Circuit. Stops shields and jet packs from regenerating for a certain amount of time.
E Ability: Falcon Punch. (Okay, the name could be changed, but it would be cool to have a charge up punch or something along the lines of that.)

Field Officer
The Concept: The Field Officer fights along side his troops instead of the War Room. His presence empowers his soldiers, giving them the extra strength and courage to fight harder. Some ideas that I thought would be fitting was a AoE buff, and possibly healing or individual buffing.
Primary Weapon: Shotgun. Wide spread over tight, a possible consideration is team damage.
Secondary Weapon: Battle standard. Eheheh, this flag bears the insignia of the blue/gold team. Whenever an ally sees the standard, they receive a damage buff for a certain amount of time. (Either see or be near it, your call) The standard can also be used to whack enemies in the face or knock them back. (The standard could also be planted in the ground I suppose, like the turret and upgraded accordingly, although this might make defending the CP too easy.)
Q Ability: Intimidating Presence. Gives allies a boost in health and/or cooldown. This buff should not overlap with the standard’s buff.
E Ability: Face kick. It’s a kick. To the face.

Sap Trooper
The Concept: This soldier specializes in healing himself, unlike the tech. Some obvious ideas would be life drain and some self buffs. Makes him a good soldier but a poor team unit.
Primary Weapon: Energy Conversion Cannon. Shoots a bullet that hits the enemy and travels back to the Sap Trooper, healing him for a percentage of the damage done. Damage to health is also converted to shields.
Secondary Weapon: Cremator. High damage, close range incendiary weapon. Aka the flamethrower… A possible idea would be to set the enemy on fire, and have them turn to ashes when they die.
Q Ability: Overload. Gain 150-200% of shields, fully rechargeable, for X amount of time.
E Ability: Nano fiber. Shields take full damage, but a percent of that in reflected at the attacker. So if 10 damage was done, the Sap Trooper gets hit for 10 (With shields) but 2 damage is reflected back at the scout.
