The issue with the new troops is is that their multiplier changes each level or something so no matter what until I get exact numbers to multiply by or devs want to pitch in for once I can’t get it 100% accurate, I did add the requested feature for inputting daru and finding out what level it’d get troops to, but don’t expect warlock/templar to be 100% accurate it’ll be about 400-5m daru off, escalating the higher the levels go.

tl;dr can’t get exact multiplier so new troops aren’t accurate

Naw, Drag. :)

BTW, did you protect this at all? I ask because I’ve seen some apps that are a bare bones version of this.

At some point I had some code added checking if the url was mine but I decided knowledge is free for everyone. Besides I based this off some java code fancied it up and fixed the logic for it, so really some credit belongs to whoever made the calc on http://jsfiddle.net/3GLQ7/

Errr… I don’t mean you’re incorrect on anything, I just mean we like to listen to those who have something interesting to say. :)

I totally understand, but I don’t like it when people come out and blatantly say, “You’re wrong,” because they’ve been told other things by other people earlier. :) I guess I should have realized this was the internet…and expected such comments :\

Anyways…I fiddled with numbers some more, and fiddled with the adjusting the original, found a pattern, and voila!

Actually very simple, although odd, the multiplier is 19.5, with a minor adjustment(keep in mind, there are no data points from 51-60 that I have seen, so this split may actually be @ L50/L51, but I expect it to be L60/L61):

Daru Cost(L2-L60) = RoundDown{[(Lvl^3) * 19.5], -1}

Daru Cost(L61+) = RoundDown{[(Lvl^3) * 19.5] * (7/6) , -1}

Differentiating between parens for those who hate math..also, the Round function is out of excel: RoundDown(num, decimal places), Rounds a number down, and to so many decimal places, in this formula, the -1 represents rounding to the nearest 10s place (0 is simply no decimals).

For those who have seen the Screenshots/Videos of other Daru numbers, this should match all those values, provied I didn’t make a typo that I haven’t caught yet in the formula :) Here’s the values I’ve seen, you can double check if you like:

L3 – 520
L11 – 25950
L14 – 53500
L15 – 65810
L16 – 79870
L21 – 180580
L23 – 237250
L47 – 2024540 (couldn’t make out first 4 numbers, but the last 3 were obviously 540)
L71 – 8142470

Enjoy!! and if Dragonock chooses, can update new troops when this has been confirmed.

Edited for those of you who saw the -6 part, turns out none of the numbers effected by taking it out and changing Round to RoundDown were known data points, so I’m assuming the formula uses RoundDown instead, also cleaned up post slightly :)

Also edited the above total daru values…L60 was off by a whopping 100 daru! :( Sorry for the change, I hope 100 more daru doesn’t kill anyone!

Sorry double post and big quote xD

After lvl 50 for every other troop the formula adds 2.5 onto their multiplier so knights/mages is 15 but goes to 17.5 after if that clears things up for you to help with formula, I still can’t figure out the issue with daru costs being different though it’s probably an error in my logic when checking past level 50 or something.

If any other programmers familiar with .net/silverlight/wpf wanna check out the calculation I’ll post the code for that part.

Topic: Wartune / Troop Calculator Update

So with the new troops I figured I’d get an update on updating the calculator (Daru costs atleast) and need some hlep figuring out the multiplier
the formula to find daru costs for example on new troops is 2>3 520 daru
is (troop level)^3*multiplier, I’m having troubles thinking this one out, I’ve tried
520/(3^3)= 19.25 (repeating)
but then from level 10>11
25950/(11^3)=19.4966109 (goes on for awhile)
14>15
65810/(15^3)= 19.4992

My challenge/question is, am I figuring this right, and can you find the multiplier so I can update the calculator?

They’re called Spellsword and Dark Mage, it’s in the 1.5 patch trailer

1→50 costs 24.384.360 darus seems ok
50→60 costs 30.157.312 darus seems ok
but 1→60 costs 58.605.732 darus which doesn’t match with 24.384.360 + 30.157.312 = 54.541.672

Other little difference with my Angel level 35 which have 2612 HP with Academy HP boost level 21 :
different with your calc which seems to be : 1191 + 39*34 + 105 = 2622 HP

I’ll look into it when I get home
edit:
Can’t figure out the fix it has something to do with the formula changing past 50. (don’t recommend leveling knights past 45 with lvl50 troops coming next patch)
Angels are jsut weird, I tested my knights and their hp is fine, i think it doesnt increase by exactly 39 but more around 38.689ish and then rounds. I gave up it’s only a 10hp diff wont make a diff

At level 20 the templar had 3031 patk, 1391 pdef, 978mdef, 3255 hp. And cost 180,580 daru to level to 21.

I’ll find the daru costs with this info, thanks, I’ll look into stat increase too.
edit:
the troop multiplier looks like it’s 19.499, kinda weird so I’m not sure on that and I can’t confirm yet.

BTW if you click daru required:
it will copy paste a message like this “Daru required for level 45 Knight from level 44 requires: 1366875 daru.”
Didn’t mention it because it’s not that much of a ground breaking feature lol

Most Asian games are very strict with people tampering with their code. Not sure why, maybe great dishonor?
Anyway, that isn’t to say R2 couldn’t twist their arm to make them tweak something for us. We make up a large amount of their profit and I’m sure they wouldn’t want to endanger their soon to be 7 digit figures.

If we wanted to know so bad couldn’t we just get a chinese speaking player to translate for us? He could go onto their server and ask a stronger player for us. All you gotta do would be use a proxy from a chinese IP, if I knew chinese I woulda done this for you guys a long time ago.

I only moderate my thread anyway. There are people that treat mods poorly and all they’re doing is relaying the info to you so you know ahead of time.

tl;dr mods do stuff for free and get hated for it.

(target level)^3*(unit’s upgrade cost multiplier) the multiplier is (Lancer/Hunter: 2 _ Priests/Paladins:5 _ Gryphon:6 _ Angels/Knights: 15)

The formula changes past 50 the closest i could get for a quick fix was adding 2.5 to the multiplier which amde the daru costs .5 off, which I made round round

On that note, if a player with lvl51+ troops could tell me if the formula is correct it would be much appreciated

AI programming is sufficiently hard, especially when retrieving data for another NPC, they would have to make a new function to retrieve the NPC’s current buffs, which could be simple if already implemented, even in reverse (NPC’s getting player’s buffs), other wise it would take a huge chunk of code to get the target NPC’s buffs. Though I suppose making it available to cashers would reward their endeavors
