Sildegil: Your attack rate was about 1 attack every 2-5 minutes. Over the course of 2 hours, thats around 24-60 attacks. It may not be intended as griefing but with that level of overpowering and that many attacks it looks a lot like it. Enough that the difference might as well be academic.

Cycle bug
So your recieving a lot of damage when this occurs? There is a point of damage from one card where deplete effects stop triggering http://www.clashofthedragons.com/forum/showthread.php?7783-Cycle-Mechanic-Changes.

Level = penalty stat. Research = 99% downgrade
Honestly I disagree on the upgrades being downgrades issue. Sure it makes them cost more, but the main issue I have with mounting an attack is getting enough good dudes in the warpgates not the cost of the dudes. So paying a more for better units is perfectly fine.

Figured out what likely happened, namely I joined a draft and my side didn’t register it. Got rewards but still a little grumpy, please fix this for the future.

Duel bugged? force-quit?
Dido kept them alive. And Lord Edmund shuffles your deplete pile back into your deck if you have 25 or more cards in it. So no bug there.As for the quiting thing, that may have been a lag issue. But yes it is a bug.

I have had a serious PVE bug where several times when the opponent would die by one card they would instead recover a card. And it has happened at the start of their turn with no cards in deck and no active buffs (versus nest of rats if you care). Anyone else having the same issue?

Problem is Torment doesn’t stack with itself. So you play three Torments in a row and you still only get to skip one of its turns.

Draft: Non-Stop Badge bugged?
Its opponent depletes 1 with a 20% chance to deplete another. So 1.2 cards on average not 1.2% of a card.

I’m going to agree with the idea that blanking is overpowered. Not because it removes effects and stats but because it also removes badges and the ability of the card to gain buffs. So basicly it ends up being a true dead draw card, and we have nothing to unblank the cards or get them back.

Alternate way damage to do damage
gilisepic I’m not sure what your saying on criticals considering that in my proposed system they multiply everything assuming any damage is dealt. I probably should amend that it is by absolute value (distance from zero) and not value that items are placed in power or damage modifier (eg. Too Fast’s -4 to damage would stay as a -4 to damage). The main idea behind this is removing the segregation of modifiers (the fact that pluses and minuses are treated different) and restore shield relevance in comparison to late game mega damage.

Alternate way damage to do damage
Thinking about the game I wonder how changing the damage system (so its not +mods multipy then apply shields) would alter the game.
Lets start by first dividing damage mods into 2 categories: 1 for static mods less than or equal to 3, which will now be called power mods, and one for the larger mods and variable mods.
Now lets have a base damage (bdmg) equal to printed damage of a card (bpower) + power mods (pmod) – shields (s). Or for unstoppable attacks just equal to printed damage (but without expending lingering power mods).
Now if this base damage is significant we then apply special multiplies (like firesculptor and blast radius [specmulti]) to it the add damage mods (dmod) and finally critical.
In essence
bmd=bpower+powermod-s
IF bdmg>=0 then damage=[(bmdg)(1+specmulti)+dmod](critical)
How would that effect game balance.

Masa the issue is how both PM and LDE force you to commit so much to have a chance of not getting killed by them. And doing so often severly hinders your deck. Pretty much those 2 cards define how you have to play in pvp and thats not a good thing for the game.
